The staff is very friendly and the location is ideal.  It is an affordable place for families.  If you are looking for a place to relax and work, I would choose another resort. It is very loud and the wifi is not great in your room. The rooms are outdated (specifically the bathrooms) and the beds are not comfortable (very hard).  We had to request blankets and big towels (the beds only had sheets and the towels were the size of a hand towel).  We did the all inclusive package which meant all the non-alcohohic drinks were free and a select group of alcoholic drinks.  The meals had lots of diversity with long time periods for breakfast, lunch, dinner and two coffee/tea and snack breaks.  It is great for picky children.  The servers and bartenders were very kind and helpful.  The service varied per day and meal. The final evening there were not a lot of servers and we had plates piled up on the table and went to the bar for drinks because no one was checking on us. The pool was great and spacious but only open until 630pm. The kids loved it. The entertainment was wonderful (there were dancers and a DJ).  The beach is okay but there are tons of vendors right by the hotel and boats in the water (have to go down a block or two to swim comfortably) and people bothering you (you cannot even sit in the chairs right by the beach on the private property, they bother you consistently).  The security was not trying to discourage them from bothering us.
When we were there, construction was occurring near our room and it went until 9pm with drilling and hammering.  Also there were tons of families so the kids were running and screaming at all times of the day and night. We called to ask for them to quiet and the staff did not quiet them, so we had to listen to kids running and screaming for several hours.

It's for families not couples

A great place to relax with family and couple, The meals were great, the entertainment were wonderful.

The staff were very friendly, all smiling. During the meals the dance with a cake to the clients on special birthdays was so welcoming. I recommend anyone seeking a home away from home to stay at Bamburi beach hotel

Our stay was exceptional. The staff was friendly, and the room was beyond comfortable. There were delicious meals and exemplary views from the beach.  The fitness center was well-equipped. the hotel also is eco friendly I look forward to returning 🥳🥳🥳.

A very nice 5-star hotel. Hospitality is excellent.  I would recommend this hotel to one visiting Mombasa.  The hotel provides organised transport from the airport. This is a good hotel for those staying alone and as a family. For anyone wishing to scuba dive, these services are available from the hotel.

We really had fun, the check in process was very smooth and the staf at the reception was friendly specially Salama and Daisy also the food was on top,  different types of food choices and very yummy, thank you Chef Dennis and your team, service was well good not forgetting the rooms team polite and the rooms are very clean and neat,the entertainment was good. Thank you soo much for Mr Mike for the good team. Looking forward  to come back again.
