Excellent service provided by manager Zipporah and her team.
A quiet and comfortable hotel with unique architecture and only 15 rooms
Staff are generally attentive but it could be difficult to find a waiter late afternoons

Food quality did not always live up to expectations but the pepper steak is excellent

Relaxed , friendly , clean awesome

Staying at the Maji was a magical experience. From the moment you walk in you’re transported into your personal slice of paradise. Zipporah the manager did everything to make our stay memorable, and I really enjoyed our conversations. When our flight was delayed she kept the room at our disposal. Simon at breakfast spoiled us and tended to our every request, very nice and respectful young man. 
We had room 3, on the ground floor with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Beautifully decorated, very spacious. All of the rooms are quite spacious.  Very clean. All amenities available, even bath bubbles for the amazing tub. 
Meals are a la carte at the time of your choosing, so everything moves at your own pace.  We had dinner upon arrival, very good. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, I even purchased a jar of the passion fruit jam. 
The beach is amazing at the Maji, with uninterrupted views from every angle, white virgin beaches. Just relaxing around the property on the multiple gorgeous seating areas, you can always see the ocean and listen to the waves breaking. 
I can’t wait to go back!

Your personal slice of paradise on Diani

We were there to celebrate my husband 50th bday and the team (thank you Zipporah and Evelyn for your hospitality, warmth and kindness) went out of the way to ensure that our time was special. Everything about the Maji hotel and our experience was exceptional. The hotel is aesthetically decorated, lots of fun and comfortable corners to sit in, the beach beds super comfy and the wrap around pool kept clean (thank you Wilson), the beach is gorgeous, the service is on point (thank you Erasmus, Zippy, Caroline), the rooms spotless where the housekeeping staff ran it as a well-oiled machine, and the food delicious.
Our morning walks to the Kongo river were followed with an exceptional breakfast spread. We spent the rest of the time happily on the beach beds, reading and swimming. My original plan was to venture out for dinners but the food was so good that we ended up eating all meals at the hotels with the chef going out of the way to accommodate our vegetarian diet and adapting the swahilli dishes for variety. We had a special table setup that was beautifully decorated to celebrate my husband's bday with a cake. The security is always there, making sure monkeys stay at bay, discrete but always there. The massage we received from Irene was so good we got another one the day before we left.
To all staff at Maji, thank you for giving us the best of memories on this very special holiday.

Exceptional beach holiday

I stayed at the Maji Beach Boutique with my sister and friends of ours.  We were welcomed from the first step we took into the hotel. Zipporah and the staff were incredibly inviting.  The food was delicious and the rooms were clean and comfortable.  The staff, everyone from management, service staff, bartenders, housekeeping, beach attendant and security went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and they did it with a smile.  Zipporah and Evelyn would talk to us each day, as if we were long lost friends.  You ALL did an amazing job making us feel at home!!!  Thank You!!!  I can't wait to come back!
