Room

The hotel is about 10 minutes drive from the airport and approximately a 1 hour walk to the Old shopping town.

All the staff including reception were very welcoming.

The hotel is very clean throughout.

The junior suite was spacious and clean. The only thing was the bathroom needs updating. It’s very clean but the bath and shower especially need replacing.

The rooftop area was being repainted so not in use, which was a shame.

We had booked a bed and breakfast stay and the continental breakfast was good, fresh and varied with fruit, cooked meats, different breads, coffees, salads etc. They cook omelettes on request.

If they updated and freshly decorated the hotel rooms, this hotel could become a very strong 4 star hotel.  Some areas are now dated and need a freshen up.

Very Good Hotel!

Beautiful boutique hotel with incredible interior. There are lots of quiet spaces to soak in the sun peacefully.

A good selection of choices for breakfast. Karima and Tariq looked after us each morning, they are both so welcoming and attentive. They really made our stay so wonderful. 

The whole team are incredibly helpful and work together so well. 

I would highly recommend staying here, it’s a short walk to lots of nearby attractions.

Gorgeous hotel, definitely should visit.

Seems like some of the hotels that our tour company put us up in for more than one night were some of the worst. We did stay at some very nice properties in Morocco. But this two-night stay in Marrakech wasn't at one of them.
First of all, when we got off the elevator on our floor, it was pitch black. Fortunately, I always have a flashlight. It turns out the lights were motion activated. However, you had to walk a bit down the hall to get them to turn on and they should have had at least one that was on all the time to provide some light. 
The rooks were very old and outdated. Almost no plugs. We had trouble even finding available receptacles to be able to charge our phones. And there wasn't even any shampoo available in the room.
Maybe the tour company booked us in the low-cost section of the hotel. (That wouldn't surprise me.) But I see other people giving this property four stars and I just don't get it. I wouldn't stay here again unless the only other choice was sleeping on the street.

Another Bad Choice!

This hotel stay was a surprise present from our boys for me and my wife. Generally it was a nice hotel, location of this hotel  is very good to get around walking, At the hotel i found that only 1 or 2 personnel were able to speak adequate English. The rooms were a bit dated but were very clean. We had breakfast included and generally the selection of food for breakfast was very good. I wound like to mention TARIK especially at breakfast was excellent,  once we put our food on the table and went to get our teas or coffees, he would set the table out with a cover lay the cutlery  for us and if we needed anything else or more of something he would bring to us directly, also KARINA in the breakfast area was very good. Also the 2 managers were good i didn't catch there names but they were very helpful when i asked about excursions advice. The hotel has a small pool but the water was generally cold as it does not see much sun as its in between 2 high buildings. We only stayed 4 nights so we didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant so i can't say anything about it.

Nice little hotel.

Wonderful staff and a nice hotel, with a few communication and accessibility issues. 

We booked a suite and confirmed via booking.com messages that they would allocate me a wheelchair accessible suite. They assured me before I booked it was available and i could find no option on their website or booking.com to specify an accessible room, but I messaged them and was told they had given me an accessible room. 

When we arrived, this had not happened. The staff did their best, showing us multiple rooms to find the most appropriate. Luckily I can walk a few steps, so the suite with a shower was manageable, but the lack of a shower stool made showering difficult. 

The accessible room was in an area of the hotel with a ramp that was safe to use. I could also reach one of the patios by the pool from there. Unfortunately, the bar and our room were in the other part of the hotel. The ramp to our area was designed for luggage trolleys, not wheelchairs. It was too steep to drive down safely, especially as it is marble. Because I have a rugged electric wheelchair that can manage steep hills, I just about made it up the slope. No way could I go down. I wouldn't want to do it in a propelled chair or a normal electric wheelchair. 

Again, the staff were the stars. Every time I needed to go down the slope, at least one member of staff would jump to give me support, making sure I walked down the stairs safely. My partner and another staff member would wheel my chair down, hanging on to the back, and meet me at the bottom. Chami in particular was always careful of my needs and could not walk past me without offering tea, food or help! He was just lovely and helped me with my French.  Karim in the bar was also delightful, always happy to help me with Arabic and bringing us drinks so I didn't have to navigate the slope. He and my partner enjoyed chatting about football and he recommended some great wine!

Karima in the restaurant was the absolute star of the staff. She met me every morning and went around the breakfast buffet to serve up my food. She made sure the omlette chef knew I am dairy intolerant. 

She would set us up at our preferred table, moving furniture to make space for my wheelchair. Once I was settled, she would then bring me tea, juice, soya milk and fill my water bottle with ice water. Chatting with her and hearing her humour and sunny personality was a highlight every morning. 

Because she is fluent in English, Karima also helped me improve my French and Arabic and was always encouraging me to learn new words. It was also great to discuss our plans, as she would think carefully about accessibility wherever we planned to go. She would advise us how to get around or accessible things to do. She actually understood it isn't just about stairs, it's about toilets, being able to see what's happening and how to get from place to place. She understood I didn't want to be dependent on other people.

The hotel is generally nicely presented and spacious. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. The main restaurant does a great breakfast and the spa staff were great and very considerate of my needs. We really enjoyed our hammam and massage and they even styled my hair. I left my chair in the changing room and a member of staff helped me whenever I had to move. 

Ultimately, the building has some problems for a wheelchair user because you can't reach the rooms, spa or bar without going down a lot of steps or a dangerously steep slope. If the communication had been better, I would have been able to safely reach my room without help and tiring myself going down the stairs. The staff did absolutely everything they could to compensate for this and Karima, Karim and Chami in particular were just wonderful and genuinely friendly. They made our holiday a joy.
