Just returned from an enjoyable week an amadil,check in process a little slow but pleased to be upgraded to sea view room,food was good,some things always available, pizza burgers chips etc, some cooking stations serving fresh meat fish etc,bbq also at lunch, bar service abit erratic, rooms equipped with kettle fridge safe flat screen tv,limited English channels bbc world  news 1 movie channel, beds very comfy. Pool area very good doesn'topen till 9.00am,no rush for sunbeds,more sunburn at front of hotel,lovely walk along promenade, some touts selling allsorts from sunglasses watches fruit ,they don't pester a polite no thanks will suffice, location is hotels best feature right on the front ,some tlc required in some area's of hotel, probably 3star + I would say ,loved agadir will return I'm sure

Mixed reviews about this place. It was mine and my boyfriends first time all inclusive which we quickly learnt we didn’t like which we both agree we couldn’t pin on the hotel I think we just prefer to have more choice and flexibility when it comes to food.

The food did not have much choice it appeared like there was a lot but on inspection it was just the same stuff each night. Some things were nice to eat however others didn’t have a taste and was bland. The timings of the food made it difficult to plan your day as once the restaurant was closed that was it for food. They did serve pastries and pizza by the two bars during the times the restaurants were closed but this was not enough if you didn’t make it to dinner.. They had a menu of food which was chargeable…. Kinda takes away the ‘all inclusive’.

The all inclusive drinks at first felt again like lots of choice but we got bored of the same 4 cocktails and actually mixed with the food we became rather ill multiple times during the holiday. The free drinks stopped at 11 - and any party vibe would be an encouraged to die down by then (we realised this may be also because of Ramadan).

The rooms were basic and the TV had one channel in English - you can cast from android devices to the TV so I would suggest downloading episodes on to your phone if like us you like tv in the evening. For the price we paid I would say the rooms are within that price.

Unfortunately we got unlucky with the weather it rained multiple times during the holiday (first rain in five years they said!) this did make it difficult as a lot of time was spent in the hotel during this which is something we would usually try and avoid. 

The staff were all friendly and helpful during our stay and we do not have a bad word to say against these guys. The location of the hotel was nice next to a beach and there was a few shops within the walking distance. Agadir itself was disappointing and I feel like I visited a different place to what I read about online. Again we realise this might be due to Ramadam so a lot of places were closed.

First four star hotel we stayed in and we both agree we have been in better three stars. This is my first time writing a review and hope it helps other people but in my opinion I would pay that little bit extra and go elsewhere. But I would like to shout out to all the bar staff who made the holiday a bit easier!

Mixed bag

Hotel was appalling, food was cold husband couldn't eat anything, as even chips where cold, repetitive food spagg bol, for dinner and tea, staff very rude went to sit outside the beach bar, weren't not allowed to have cushions on the iron chairs he was very rude, they seemed to look after the French, but English they don't bother with unless you write a good review for them, we went to see mangament but surprise there was no one there, when we complained to reception they decided they couldn't understand us, never again would we go back there magician was lovely also Hassan the concierge

Awful hotel

The entertainment team at Hotel Amadil truly elevated our stay with their vibrant energy and dedication. From the moment we arrived, they made sure guests were always engaged and having fun. Animation 😍

Oking was a lovely character. His engaging presence and impressive talent made for a fun and lively atmosphere that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Whether he was cracking jokes, singing, or interacting with guests, his professionalism and ability to connect with the crowd were evident. It’s clear that Ok-ing is a true entertainer who knows how to create a memorable experience.
