High View Gardens Apartments HERO

Wow after exiting the airport it was a struggle to find a taxi driver who would take us to this hotel as it was in the middle of now where! - not really where we were thinking we would be 25 minutes out from Lanarca but any way thought it would be ok 

The apartment was quite modern with new furniture but we had 2 apartments booked which they were not ready for us when we arrived.  The "penthouse" did not have bedding ready and the lower floor had no views and smelt strongly of salt damp.   They had to get a spare quilt to take to the upstairs apartment room with no cover to put on it.  The were no pillow cases on the spare pillows.

The next morning we had to move out of the lower floor rooms and 5 of us had to to share a 2 bedroom apartment with one person on a sofa bed in the kitchen. There was not enough towels or bedding for our group let alone crockery and glasses!   The shower in the upstairs room leaked all over the floor and the pressure was like a trickling tap!

Wifi only just  worked if we sat on the balcony and didn't work at all when we were in the lower apartment. We had to go and stand in the car park!!!!

There is no tea coffee sugar  no instructions of how to use the washing machine or liquid to use it.  Only one power point worked in the lower apartment and the shower did not heat up.    The lady showed us that we had to use a bobby pin to put into the power point to get some of them working.

The place has potential but has some work to do to attract people to this quite traditional town.  Luckily our agent is getting us out of this place and moving us to a more happier place.

Do not stay here!!!!!!!!

We went for a quiet weekend with our friends who have a baby. We knew it was secluded and not really close to anything but this is what we wanted! Peace and quiet!
The room was fairly clean BUT it looked like nobody mopped the place in ages! Our friends' baby still falls down a lot, so we had to mop the entire apartment. 
On our first night we found six cockroaches! We thought about sleeping in the car! This also continued on our second night as well!
The mattress was so hard! I still have back pain three days later! 
On our first night the stuff at the bar had a party until morning hours with really loud music! 
The mornings were no better either! It felt like we were at a public pool! They had their friends come over so we didn't have an umbrella. They were so noisy, fighting on each other's shoulders etc. And I am very sure they weren't staying there because I saw them arriving and leaving!
There is no reception there at all times. You just call a number and a lady comes with a key. One key. As she pointed out to us, it was the only key and we had to be careful not to lose it.
They didn't even take the garbage! The garbage can was full so we had to take it to the outside bin which of course was full too!
And lastly, the shower curtain was too short so there was water everywhere after my bath! It even got to the bedroom so I had to mop AGAIN! And it was so dirty that each time I touched it I just cleaned myself again!
Seriously never again! Just do yourselves a favor and maybe pay something extra to stay somewhere nicer!

Description and pictures really misleading

Quiet location and that suited us fine.  Pool was beautiful, people very friendly.  Mazotos village has a very well stocked shop but the supermarket is close by car too.
Apartment was very clean and modern, no issues at all.  Stunning views and huge veranda!  Kitchen had everything, washing machine, microwave, proper sized fridge freezer, cooker etc.
Overall, if you want loud bars and a lively resort then this is not for you, if you want peace and quiet and to see the real Cyprus then it couldn't be better.

Family Hols

Stayed at high view gardens five nights with a friend. 
The apartments are modern but they are not clean.  
We thought it's a good place to meet other people but the pool bar was closed and the whole place was nearly empty.
The check in and out was not good managed cause there was no one there when  we wanted to check out.
High view garden belongs to one places that were  built just before the financial crisis but the nobody wanted to buy real estate anymore. 
Can only recommend it to people who want a totally quiet place away from  everything. ...

Modern but not clean not worth the money

Could not fault this complex of apartments
We stayed in a penthouse at the top of the complex 2 adults 4 children 
Equipped kitchen with everything you need 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and a sofa bed in the living area flat screen TVs aswell as air conditioning through out 
The balcony was massive 
Nice size pool with plenty of sun loungers pool bar opens around midday and shuts about 6 serving snacks and drinks very reasonably priced also there is a pool table and football table 
There is a shop about 5-10 mins walk away which has everything you need in it
Would defiantly recommend these apartments

Bed linen and toiletries are provided in the room and a free baby cot is available on request. 

For days not spent exploring the area, you can enjoy the splendid Cypriot weather in the outdoor pool, garden or sun terrace. Following a stint within the fitness centre, the snack bar is on hand. If however, you wish to hire a car for further exploration, the free on-site parking will be a much-welcomed facility.
