Seaview Balcony - The Ciao Stelio Hotel

It was a relief to be back to a properly-operating hotel again. The Ciao Stelios has been open for business for some time now. The hotel staff is all back at work and it is really a pleasure to see that attention to detail and standards have not been affected. 

Of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Larnaca, this is the best one in terms of quality standards and permanent staff: something that makes all the difference.

The rooms are carefully renovated and maintained. The breakfast and dining areas are stylish and the food is excellent, with great value for money. 

I was also glad to see the developments at McKenzie Beach, located just around the corner from the hotel. There are some nice new restaurants and cafes available. 

As a business traveller, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in Larnaca

Our party of six stayed at this delux hotel for 30 days in Oct/Nov 2021. Combining business with leisure, from arrival to departure, our every need was well catered for by an excellent, professional team of staff who are led by an outstanding manager and welcoming owner.
 
Our seafront view  rooms which overlooked the sandy McKenzie beach, were very comfortable and well serviced daily. The range of hot and cold buffet breakfast options and service times suited our needs. All evening meal options were delicious and the personal service prompt and very friendly.
 
Members of our party have visited over forty countries and two have regularly stayed in different Cyprus hotels for over 30 yrs. Collectively we are agreed that this hotel rates very highly and we all look forward to opportunities stay at the Ciao Stellios again.
 
When one of our party was taken seriously ill and needed local medical support, the manager and staff sprung into action and demonstrated  genuine levels of after-care.
 
The airport and taxi service are close by and central Larnaca a pleasant sea front walk away. When eating out, we recommend using restaurants also used by the locals. For those who enjoy watching TV sports while eating from an extensive reasonably priced menu which includes daily greek special options, we highly recommend the customer friendly Salamis restaurant which is fifty metres behind the hotel.

Fantastic Hotel, wonderful staff

I have stayed in the Ciao Stelio Deluxe Hotel for business previously, and although the rooms are small, I was happy with the hotel.  However, my 2nd visit is mych more disappointing.
I am an Officer on board a 5 star cruise ship, staying in this hotel as I await transportation home to Canada.  Instead of placing me in room far away from the construction; I was placed in a room as close to the construction as possible.
As such, I was awakened at 7 am with very loud construction.
After asking at the front desk why this occurred, I was informed that my company only pay for this certain type of small room.  To this I detailed that, with only a little foresight, this Hotel could have made a very happy guest instead of a unhappy guest.  I explained that they knew there would be construction, and they have plenty of unoccupied rooms away from the construction...  For very little cost, or no cost to the hotel, they could have solved this concern ahead of time; but they did not.
This hotel shows a tripadvisor excellence award at the front desk; although they do have some positives, I do not believe they deserve to be called excellent.  The room I am in is very small, the TV is small and the cables pull out from the wall when you try to angle the tv, the bed is comfortable, but there is very little space.  The room feels claustrophobic.
Management would know of the construction, and could have easily prevented this concern that I have.  2.5 stars at most.  Poor.

Extremely pleased with the service at the Ciao Stelio. Staff are welcoming, friendly and do all they can to make the guest experience special.

Located directly opposite the beach on a very quiet part of the main road meant a relaxing break.

Two Visits. Two Great Experiences

I stayed twice - once when arriving in Larnaca and once when departing. Both experiences were great.  Even though I arrived late at night each time the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a "mod" theme to it.  The food and service in the restaurant were good as well.  What was best was that it was close and convenient to the airport.  They arranged a taxi to pick me up and return me to the airport for 15 euros which is the standard set price in the area.

Great Hotel - convenient to the Airport

This adult's only hotel is undoubtedly, one of the finest small luxury hotels in Cyprus. Boasting a beautiful location by the seafront, guests are treated to majestic views across the Mediterranean Sea. Just a half an hour stroll along the coastline will take you to the charming town centre, which is decorated with towering palm trees and hosts an abundance of restaurants, bars and shopping boutiques.

Across the road is the beach, the hotel can help provide sunbeds and umbrellas for your comfort, at a small fee. Guests are warmly invited to visit the a la carte restaurant to enjoy the rich and varied menu, the signature cocktails or to sip some chilled white wine.
