General view

We stayed here for a wedding with 50+ guests staying there. 
The hotel was OK there were a few cockroaches around the hotel, and the food was fine, typical buffet food. This is not why I have given this hotel such a bad score.
The bar staff were lovely, but the reception staff were awful the whole time we were there, and we didn't find out why till the last day.
So when we were checking in one group of 3 people had 2 rooms. One of the guest were coming later in the week, so the when checking in they expected them to only have 1 of their 2 rooms that the paid. He said no unless you are going to give me a refund for the room and they got offended. 
This led to the whole week with them telling us they order a taxi and making us wait 20 mins before they would actually order one. Other wedding couples had roses and champagne taken to their table and our couple wasn't even given late checkout.
They would give us dirty looks and talk to eachother whiles staring at us. 
They made sure they made our stay uncomfortable for not just that person but the whole party included the bride and groom. I'm my opinion was very unprofessional. So as long you agree with everything they say even if you're are within your rights, then you will be fine there.

Wedding party were disrespected

We have just returned from a week at aqua blue and I have a mixed opinion on the place. The first day one member of the pool bar staff we found rude, people were queuing and we happened to say that there was a person before someone els was served and he rudely said I serve people how I want basically from that moment it made it awkward going to the bar when he was serving. Bar staff were fantastic and like to have a laugh. The rooms were lovely clean and modern. Cleaners were also great and kept the rooms clean everyday. The food is your usual buffet food nothing special so we eat out most night, pool food was ok and the cooks were nice and friendly. Roof bar had a lovely view but for what you pay I think the drinks should be included in the all inclusive or at least at a discounted price.
The restaurant downstairs is understaffed and you will wait up to 30 mins just for drinks. The food was nice but very long waits. Would I return NO this is my personal experience and I believe you could get a lot better on the island.

It is an amazing hotel. Clean,modern,good food, all staff were so polite & well mannerd. Especially the lobby barstaff. They were so polite and amazing. The only  complaint would be
 the management's attitude. They set the air-con to a high temperature, which makes it hard to sleep at night. But the won't budge.

Amazing hotel & staff. But to hot in bedrooms.

There is not a single thing to fault about this hotel. All the staff were fabulous. The hotel was clean and modern. Our swim up room was out of this world. The food, wow the food was just amazing, different things to eat at every meal. We never went hungry and no matter what theme it was int he evening there was always something we liked to eat. It’s the most relaxing luxurious holiday I’ve ever been on. We will definitely be returning next year and absolutely cannot wait. Thank you for making our week so special.

Cannot fault

Lovely modern hotel but a few things need to be sorted to make it even better. As with other reviews, hot food seems to be a problem. The choice and quality was very good but lukewarm. The ala carte restaurants were booked up. Not very all inclusive  when you’re only then for a week and you’re not getting what you paid for. Again, others reported the air conditioning being a problem and it was for us with a family member being pregnant. The swimming pools and swim ups are all 1.40m and too deep for small people, children, learners or less confident swimmers. The only other pool being the splash park at 35cm. Generally staff worked hard and special mention to Georgio who looked after us.
