The Blue Ivy Hotel And Suites Hero

Well what can I say….we’ve just returned from a 9 day stay at this fantastic hotel and I can’t wait to return. From the moment we arrived, we received nothing but a first class service from every member of staff. The hotel manager Nikos, makes himself known to everyone and ensures that all his guests are happy and enjoying their stay. I can honestly say, this is the first time I’ve ever seen this from a hotel manager and it was such a lovely touch, appreciated by everyone. The food in the restaurant is superb, there’s everything you could possibly wish for. Plenty of sun loungers round the pool and I liked how there was an adults only pool, as well as a children’s pool. The hotel is in a perfect location, 5 minutes from the centre of Protarus and 5-10 minutes away from the beach. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby, but with the quality of food on offer, there’s no need to go out. This was our first time at this hotel and it definitely won’t be the last.

Fantastic stay in a wonderful hotel!

We have just returned from a week at The Blue Ivy. This was our 2nd stay here and I have to say we were so glad we had returned. If you want to make the best of what the hotel has to offer we would reccomend staying on all inclusive basis, its well worth the extra.. We were greeted by David at reception and right from the word go we were made to feel special.. The very next day Nicos cuaght up with us and as before made us feel at home as he does with every guest at the hotel. The hotel itself is kept spotless throughout and even though it was busy there was always plenty of sunbeds available round the 2 pools. If you want the special sunbeds around the pool you need to be at the pool for 8:00am to bag them, otherwise there are plenty of other sunbeds if your not an early riser. All the staff were fantastic but special thanks to David on reception, so helpful, Vera in the restaurant and of course Nikolai behind the Utopia bar who makes the BEST cocktails in Protaras!! Looking forward to returning in 2025. Thank you Nicos, the hotel really does derserve its Best of the Best Tripadvisor award.

Simply the BEST Hotel in Protaras

We visited last year and just had to rebook this year! We cannot fault the hotel or staff at all! 

The food is amazing, the pool bar is fab and the staff are honestly game changers! Every single finishing touch from the free pool towel use, to the entertainment round the pool and evening, the free cold flannels and free smoothies throughout the day! You can see why us and many many others rebook! 

We arrived to a bottle of wine and personal thank you note for rebooking with a discount card to use throughout our stay which again, was the nicest touch! We landed late and got a sandwich, bottle of water and welcome drinks whilst we were checked in! 

The hotel manager nikos is amazing, he’s so present at all hours. He’s attentive, caring and not only for his guests but you can see his care for the staff! The fact all the staff we saw last year are still there this year speaks for itself! 

Perfect location, so close to the beach, shops and the strip of bars and restaurants all within walking distance! 

The only issue ( I will add, did not ruin our stay and would not stop us booking again) is the sunbed situation. If you do not wake up and get downstairs for 8am for a sunbed you are pretty much not going to get one (at least for a few hours) many people save towels and members of the family do not venture to the pool until late afternoon. It feels unfair and means later nights are reduced so you can get a space! 

I think this should be governed abit closer by the lovely Peter (lifeguard) maybe no return after 2 hours (allowing time for lunch / walks / shop) a small note and towels handed into reception, just allow others to have the opportunity to have a bed! 

We are already pricing up for next year and cannot wait to return! ☀️♥️

Returning journey and better than the first! ☀️

This hotel was amazing, the staff go above and beyond to make your stay the best . The food was incredible . The pool area was the quietest and cleanest pool I have been around. Location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the beach and 45 minutes to the shops, bars and restaurants.
If you want a quiet relaxing holiday this is perfect but also the bars on the strip are lively if you want a bit of nightlife .
Will definitely return to this beautiful hotel .

Relaxing

Didn’t think that this Hotel could get any better than last year but they managed it. The Hotel Manager (Nicos) has the place running like clockwork from the Room Maids, Pool Bar Staff,  Restaurant Staff and  Reception Staff. The food is a notch up from last year which was amazing. New Michelin Star chef has put his own spin on the food. Indian and Asian nights amazing. Already booked for next year. Sincere thank you to all.
