Pool

We spent a week here all inclusive! We had an amazing week and thought it was such good value for money. We definitely got our moneys worth on the drinks alone. Breakfast wasn’t the best but the other meals and snacks were lovely! Most of the staff were lovely and really helpful. The view of the sea is beautiful (be sure to watch the sun set from the grass area overlooking the sea). The rooms are slightly dated but beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Prince the hotel cat came for strokes every evening, so be sure to pay him lots of attention! There is entertainment on each night which was really good. The bus is super easy to coral bay and paphos town, just over on the main road. All in all a great stay!

Good hotel with a great view

First of all we booked a return taxi transfer with Amber Voyage via booking.com for £76. Which took about 25-30mins to get to the hotel. In a nice air conditioned Mercedes.

Reception was a bit dark but most of the hotel staff are all very pleasant with the odd grumpy one.

We arrived at 1:30 pm but room wasn’t going to be ready til 2pm so we were given our all inclusive wristbands allowing us to get lunch.

Although always seemed fresh I Wasn’t that impressed with the food. Salad bar on a lunch time only ever had tuna, no other cooked meets which was a shame.

Other meat dishes in short supply mainly chicken and pork or fish.

A small veg choice and potato or chips.

Sweets were again disappointing, with no simple ice cream to accompany the likes or sponge cake.
Banana’s, plums or peaches.

Unfortunately unlike so many other all inclusive holidays this restaurant didn’t have hot plate cooking, with chefs preparing the likes of fresh omelettes, crepes etc.

In the restaurant soft drink orders were taken and brought to the table rather that the usual self service which is a bit unfortunate if you are clamming for a soft drink. 

After lunch we got our room keys, 
On the short trek to the room we encountered several steps so no great for people with mobility problems.

The room was clean fresh and spacious with a sink, fridge and kettle. However as other reviews have stated rooms are dated.

Our room had a separate bedroom with an air conditioning unit in both bedroom and living room.
The bed was a large double which was very comfortable.

Room are fresh & clean but walking around some hotel walkways definitely need new lick of paint and cracked wooden handrails renewed.

The bathroom had a bath with shower rather than a walk in shower so again difficult if you have mobility problems.
Be warned that the mixer tap is NOT thermostatically controlled so it fluctuates from normal to scalding hot in a second. 
Hand wash and shower gel were provided.
For the women there is NO hair drier.

If you have loose rings be warned as there is no grate on sink plug hole.

The room had a balcony which looked out onto the pool which has table chairs and wall mounted clothes airer.

The safe in the room is not included and costs per day to hire

The hotel in my opinion has gone past dated and now gone slightly into disrepair. With little things that are obviously wrong but not put right. (wonky TV on wall. (Bracket thumbscrew needed tightened) wonky wall lights.)

There was a variety of generally modern music playing which was quite loud and continued for most of the day. So if its a quiet holiday this not the place for you.

We were sold by the pool photographs on website, views are stunning but the reality is that sometimes there are slightly too many people and too few sun-beds. So no long lies in or you might not get one. 
Only a few sun bed side-table for the likes of drinks phones etc
People were reserving there beds the night before even though notices saying reserved towels will be removed, hotel staff never enforced this.

The pool area is hose down every morning. We were there for one week although the water was clean I never witnessed the swimming pool getting cleaned with grit collecting in corners of pool. Looking around the poolside, there were several broken sun-beds but the following days they were still there.

Also the poolside picture of the windmill with sails is also out of date as it is only half the sails still intact the other half rotted and fell off.

As said in earlier review “The pool bar has no toilets located near it so you have to then walk the full length of the pool to use the pool toilets which are  down a flight of stairs and only has 1 toilets available so best option to try and be near your room.” Again it would be difficult if you have mobility problems.

sun-beds were slightly uncomfortable after several hours. 
Sun bed cushions would make a big difference unfortunately not available.

It said on web page that there is a dress code for restaurant with long trouser rule however this was not the case with most men wearing shorts.

Day time entertainment was repetitive with water aqua aerobics, water volleyball, waterpolo being played every day with either table tennis, darts or pool later, 
It was hard for entertainers to get guests to participate so maybe not do so many activities per day. Maybe alternate between water polo one day and water volleyball the next.

Bingo and main event later starting after evening meals at approx 9pm.

Again agreeing with earlier review “Best night we had was when the entertainment team was off” was advertised as live music, a guy sang for about two songs then played music was like a disco and dancing night by club jumbo.

Maybe more disco nights done by the entertainment team.

Breakfast buffet food was ok
Bacon (fatty), fried/boiled eggs beens, hash browns, sausages.
Cereals, salad with cooked meats.
Toast/bread & jams/marmalade.

If you are a coffee pot wanting an early/late coffee tea either bring some with you or visit the little well stocked mini-market. 

Definitely Would not give this hotel a 4* rating maybe just a 3*

Would i come back? We still had an enjoyable time but for me its a no as there are better all inclusive hotels for the same cost elsewhere.

Do not make a decision based on reviews of people who pay budget and expect 5*!
Lovely team! Cleaning lady was in every morning, so friendly! Guys at bar always a smile and a chat for you!
Nadia, organizing kids activities was brilliant.
Everything was well organised. Rental for beach towels, but you could get fresh ones anytime you wanted. Best feature was swimming pool. Large, with sports and kids section. Plenty of space around it, 2 bars. Free loungers and tables. Baby pool. Slide for bigger kids! Clean! Really pleaseant to sit at, photos of pool realistic.
This cannot be said about indoor pool, would not recommend.

Seaview, plenty of green areas. You could sip a drink or enjoy an icecream watching the sunset. 10 min walk to a rocky but pleasant beach, safe for swimming and snorkelling. 15 min drive or a bit more by bus to amazing Coral Bay beach.
We rented a car, but it is not required. There is a bus going to Paphos harbour, archeological sites (recommended!) and the city centre (not airport though).
We found car hire affordable and also used it for hiking (recommended, especially canyon!) , no probs with parking anywhere, good roads. 
Food was good, and some of it excellent. Restaurant not pretty, but clean. Eat and go.
There were some options that were not so nice, but if you had 7 salads to choose from, there was always a few that you liked. 
I did miss fruits a bit, and this is the only thing I purchased.
For breakfast , fresh bread, fried eggs, vegetables, pancakes. 
Loads of fish, meat and veg options for lunch and dinner.
Themed nights: Cyprus, Mexican etc. All very fresh, cooked on site.
in between meals snack bar with toasties, fries, salad and ice cream. Decent quality.
It is worth going for all inclusive. Kitchen is ok to make a sandwich and a cup of tea, + use fridge, but not more.
Coffee not nice, but that is common in hotels that are good value.
You could go to cafe nearby, very nice and vegan options too. Also amazing nail spa - google "medical pedicure" for all things beauty, 10 min walk.
Loads of places to walk around, sea promenade. No need to drive to get to a pleasant walking area.
Drinks: cocktails not nice. Local beer and wine decent. I would stick to long drinks, rum + cola, gin + tonic etc, they did not skimp an spirits, and all incl. in All Inclusive.
We had a family room. 2 single beds in living room, balcony, 2 sgl beds pushed together in parents room. We had a seaview  (not booked, but had it anyway) and could walk out to outdoors area from balcony.
Plenty of nature: beautiful flowers, lizzards....so don't complain if you see 1 ant or spider in your room, it is clean, but not sterile.
Rooms were spacious, but dated, especially bathroom. Beds comfy though.
Activities for kids, pilates, aqua aerobic, beach ball.
Overall I would recommend, because the outdoors areas are v.nice and clean, with great views.
There is v. little to do indoors in the hotel, and in Cyprus in general. Most sites of cultural interest are outside, no museums as such.
Therefore I would not go outside the season...I wouldn't like to be stuck in a dated room, with an old style telly. 
It is all geared for enjoying watersports or just chilling out at beach/pool.

Sea, sand + fun with honest + friendly staff!

Just had a brilliant week room's nice and large very clean food excellent choice to suit everyone plenty from breakfast through to evening meal pool bar for snacks drinks great choice ice cream slushies staff pleasant evening entertainment great and funny something different each evening especially fire show amazing lovely animation team and shout out to young lady who does aerobics in pool from ulkrain who waved me and my friend off lovely girl hopefully back Oct my friends thank you all julie and Geraldine from Manchester

After I read all the negative reviews I was anxious about going.
We had a fabulous 10 days here, the food was lovely, never done All Inclusive before, staff friendly especially Soulis at the pool bar.
The hotel was clean, reception staff friendly and helpful..
We had the most perfect view from our balcony of the sunsets..
Will definitely return here..

Well worth going..

This hotel, located in Chloraka village, can be found just on the sea front. It is very close, within driving distance, to the Coral Bay, with great rocky coves for swimming in and admiring the sea life. Paphos' harbor is approximately 6 km away, where many bars, shops and restaurants of local character can be found. The nearest beach is roughly 7 km away; here guests can enjoy lovely sunsets and nice walks beside the sea shore.
