Pool

On a family recommendation, we have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and it was a perfect choice for our destination wedding. During the planning (over a year), Mr Kyriakos (and team) along with Mr Pambos (and team) were incredible - they thought of every detail and were very responsive and accommodating (with some great ideas). 
We had 43 family and friends stay at the hotel (most for a week) and on behalf of all of us we want to say a HUGE thank you to Mr Andreas (and team), Mr Lambros (and team), Mrs Lliada (and team) - at all times they made us all feel very welcome and special. We would also like to thank (and recommend) Mr Christos (and team) & Collette for their amazing hair and make up skills !  In addition to their own personal reviews on trip advisor, every guest has provided amazing feedback to us (bride & groom) - many quoting it was one of the best holidays they had ever had !

Outstanding Wedding (43 guests) - May 2024 !!!

Great week away in the sunshine. The hotel is about 30 mins from the airport. Check in was smooth was offered glass of drink whilst our bags were taken to our room . Our room was on the 3rd floor had a lovely sea view the sun was there from 11- 7 we saw a beautiful sun set .
Room had single beds extra pillows if needed safe tv tea and coffee water available. Hair dryer was a bit slow but worked . Bathroom walk in shower loads of towels bath robe and slippers. 

You have a beach towel collected from the spa came be changed every 2 days . 

The sun beds have an allocation desk you are shown the various sun  beds available and then choose one for the week you can be put on a list if you want to go near the main pool . We had beds on the beach which was lovely as there is a sea breeze and also a beach bar and we could watch the water sports . Take beach shoes and you need these to walk in the sea very slippery and stones . 

We could book 4 restaurants for our weeks stay . American was lovely very filling, Asian was amazing so was Greek and Italian. You could not fault the service or the quality of the food. 

Breakfast was in the main restaurant and we had evening food there if we were not booked into a restaurant found something to eat all the time . There are bars that offer bar snack sandwiches/ salad/ burgers so there was always somewhere to have food . Lunch time there is a restaurant opened near the spa where we had lunch . 
The all inclusive drinks menu was great the staff are great especially the lady who serves in the cocktail bar at nighttime excellent service so friendly. 

Entertainment was ok thought there could have been more areas for people to have a dance with up to date music . Singers in the reception were really good every evening . 

Bus service outside hotel 2 euros for one bus or a day bus ticket 6 euros you need to take 2 buses to go into Paphos harbour. Enjoy both times we went out of the resort. 

Would loved the bar on the sea to remain opened for longer as they could play relaxing music and that would be a nice place to relax after your evening meal .

Staff were really friendly everywhere.

I would really recommend this adults only hotel .

Week away in the sun

Overall 8.5/10  

Pros:

Sunbed allocation system - no more towels at dawn as you are allocated a bed on arrival and can upgrade (ie to poolside) as others leave.  Pool staff keep you updated on upgrade and move you efficiently when space comes up; 
Cleaniness - very clean hotel and room cleaned every day when we were at breakfast - very efficient and attentive maid;
Staff - fantastic staff from arrival to departure.  Special shout out to Panos at front of house (ever helpful) and Ioanna in the Semeli Wine Bar (amazing attentive service) - too many more to name and some we never got the names of (our cleaner);
The Four Speciality Restaurants - you can use these once per week and the food is a good (8.5-9/10) with amazing quick service;
Gym and Spa - good selection of equipment and Sauna/Steam Room (normally quiet as well);
Bars - a wide selection from poolside to cocktail to wine bar - never had to wait long for service from friendly staff (please do tip them from time to time);
Internet - good free service.  In room TV is large with Netflix and YouTube apps so you can simply login and fill that chilled time before dinner;  
UK & USB Plug Sockets in Room (just in case you didn't know);  
Supermarket at end of the road - everything you need (or forgot) at very good prices.  Don't use the hotel shop as it is expensive;
Room - Room 3718 top floor far right, sea view - lovely view, quiet and never too long to wait for a lift. 

Cons:

Buffet food - sometimes the selection can feel very limited/'samey' each day; we personally felt lunch was better than the evening choice.  Best to arrive early in the service.  Still was a 7/10 though and mindful you can eat 50% of the time in the speciality restaurants in the evenings.  Breakfast was a strong 9/10 with a wide selection;
Entertainment - again a 7/10; this is marmite and it wasn't our thing (ie bingo, quiz, getting pulled up on stage) but there was also some good points: cocktail bar singers were generally good background music, greek night was entertaining;    
In-room AC - this is PIR operated so if you aren't in the room it switches off resulting in returning to 28oC in the room and hours to cooling.  Overnight the AC struggles to keep room cool (rarely below 22oC) and it was noisy.  The wine definitely helped here but we never felt uncomfortable enough to complain (as the outside temp was 32oC most of time so you have to be understanding);
Location - it is only a short bus ride into Pafos but there isn't a lot else around the hotel (except other hotels and some restaurants).   Not an issue but to be mindful of if you intended to do a lot in Pafos.

Would I recommend?  Yes
Would I go again?  Probably not

Lovely hotel - Recommended

Amazing food, lovely views, and amazing entertainment. You’re in great hands at this hotel, the staff are more than accommodating and very friendly. A massive shout out to Mimo and the entertainment team that bring the life and party to this venue every day and night! Great for family holidays or just a couples retreat, 11/10 would come again for an even longer stay.

Great food, amazing entertainment, and beautiful views

Amazing holiday at the saint Goerge  hotel and spa pathos just come back  from a 2 week holiday this was my second time to visit this amazing hotel .staff are very friendly and helpful l nothing is to much trouble food is amazing and there are 4 different restaurants you can choose to have a meal Also what I found really good was they allocate your sunbeds for you and you get to keep them for the duration of your stay . me and my partner enjoyed it so much we have just booked for next year would also like to mention the entertainment staff they were amazing drinks are very good and plenty to choose from love this hotel would highly recommended

What a fabulous hotel

This hotel is set overlooking the beach in Chloraka . The hotel is located just 6 km from the centre of Paphos and the marina. Links to the public transport network are available nearby, offering ease of access to other areas to be discovered. Guests are welcomed with warm hospitality and excellent service at this hotel.
