Depressing, dated Hotel. Long corridors to rooms that smelt of disinfectant . Paper thin walls between rooms where you could hear everything. Tired and dated decor in the hotel and rooms . Air conditioning hardly worked. Felt like a prison going to the room. We moved out and got an air b&b . Completely misrepresented in photos , the pool was nice if you could stand the noise but I decided to swim only once very early . Breakfast was like a school canteen . Never again . I’m going to complain to the agent Love Holidays for this terrible hotel - it is sold as romantic !

Terrible dated grubby hotel

Okay, so my partner and I didn't have a great start on arriving at the hotel. The hotel is very, very outdated and claims to be a four star hotel! It is not! It is more of a 2/3 star hotel. On arrival to our room, we were disappointed that the room was not of a high standard for what is claiming to be a four star hotel. The room was not as clean as I had hoped. There were stains on the bed sheets, towels, walls, and mould in the bathroom. The room was in definite need of updating and some maintenance. The air conditioning vent was hanging off and eventually fell off the wall, and maintenance had to be called. When the maintenance guy arrived, I found him to be very rude! He knocked on the door, and I said, "Come in." When he entered the room, I said hello." He completely ignored me and looked at me in disgust and slammed his step ladder on the floor against the wall, making me feel uncomfortable as it made a loud noise and showed me that he was not happy. I have no idea of the reason for this, but I was always brought up to respect everyone. This was the only negative interaction I had with staff at this hotel.
The other staff at the hotel were actually great and amazing people who actually made my stay at the hotel very enjoyable despite the issues we had at the start. Agatha and Natalie were always polite and did what they could to help us. Agatha, was our go-to to get the best information on places to go. Her recommendations were spot on, especially for restaurants and beaches.
The location of the hotel was very good. Across the road, you have the tombs of the kings, a lidl just a 10 minute walk if that, and about 5-10 minutes from the beach. You can walk to the old town market, which is about a 20-minute walk. There is a bus that will take you to coral bay, which is about a 15-minute bus ride. There are lots of things to do and plenty to see around the area of the hotel whether you get a bus or a taxi. If you get a taxi, you could probably travel a bit further out or hire a car.
The facilities at the hotel were okay. Again, everything is very outdated. The pool area on the upper deck is where I spent most of my time. The reason was that it was quiet compared to the other pool area. Inside, the pool was clean, but there were bird faeces on the edge and on the decking that looked like it had been there for a while. So it was obvious that it hadn't been washed down. The umbrellas need to be replaced, and there were not enough for everyone, especially when it is very hot!
The food at the hotel was a bit bland for me, and if you are someone who likes bland food, then you will be fine. But I will mention that if you go half board to check if drinks are included. As my partner and I, we found out that drinks are not included! Not even water!!! I understand that alcohol would be at an extra charge, and I understand, but I did expect soft drinks, but the hotel stated that soft drinks were not included and that we would have to pay. So we asked for water and they said there would be a charge!! Water is a basic thing, a human right! If I could, I would have drank the tap water, but seeing as the water in Cyprus is undrinkable, you have to drink bottled water. The hotel did not even provide us with this, even though we had paid for half board! Apparently, this is a hotel policy that I think needs amending! The hotel SHOULD provide water if the tap water is undrinkable. There were signs on the soft drink machines that they were only for the people who went all-inclusive. However, we were able to have tea and coffee and juices at breakfast.
The hotel does have spa facilities, and my partner and I paid for a couples massage, which I have to say was very good! Well worth the money that i paid for. The staff in the spa were polite, friendly, and welcoming. I did not use the other facilities, so I can not comment.
Overall, my experience at the hotel was good. My partner and I made the best of what we could. My issue is with EasyJet, who sold us the holiday. The prices that EasyJet is asking doesn't match the star rating.

Manolis treated us very well and treated us with the best service and couldn’t ask for anymore 
The location is perfect and not too far from the beach, easily accessible for anyone near by

Avlida for ever

We are currently at the hotel. It's not a 4 star but a budget hotel in an ideal location.  The hotel is dated but clean. The food is good it's hot and there is something foe everyone.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner all meals good! We are All Inclusive. The rooms are basic but our room is cleaned every day with fresh towels.They have a green policy towels on the floor means a fresh one required. Air conditioning works and the cooler also. The pool area is clean  and everyone is having a wonderful time. We went to Venus Beach today and had a wonderful time beach is clean, loungers and umbrella for hire plus changing rooms and toilets all very modern and clean. Evening entertainment good and my grandson is having a fun time with the other children. Chidren entertainment is good. I participated in bingo but didn't win lool. Staff are friendly too. Please come and enjoy your holiday.  The hotel is full currently.  Will come back. This is my opinion and enjoying my holiday.

Relaxing holiday 

All the stuff its very nice we are here for 7 days and we never have something bad to say the room its very good very clean and the food its so nice at night time its cosmin make activities for you like fire show they make the bingo game its very fan you have to visit that hotel and its very cheap for 7 nights 3 adults 1648 all inclusive!!!
