Where to start with this review! My husband and I booked The Ivi Mare for our honeymoon after reading the fantastic reviews from previous travellers and we were absolutely not disappointed. 
For reference we have previously stayed at Barut (now Akra) hotels and Sensatori hotels. 

The hotel is situated on the sea front and is approximately 45 minutes walk to Paphos castle. The walk is lovely on the evening, we enjoyed passing all of the hotels and admiring the views (fab sunsets). 

The hotel itself is very chic and it is immaculately clean, as is the pool area. Speaking of pool area - the hotel has the best sun beds you will ever lay on (truly spoilt and I won’t want to go back to a ‘normal’ sunbed again).
Beds in the room are very comfortable and we were left a bottle of water and chocolate each evening for ‘turn down’ service which was a lovely touch. The shower also has a good pressure and we were provided with Caudelie toiletries for our stay. 

When it comes to the food, we could not complain at all! Fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. Good variation and the deserts were the best all inclusive deserts I’ve ever had! Lots of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is also available at the pool bar and cakes are served mid afternoon for those who like a sweet treat. 
We dined at the Fiki restaurant on one evening - highly recommend you try! You are entitled to one stay per week (we were 10 nights and could dine twice). 

Premium drinks available until 12pm for those all inclusive. Cocktails were freshly made to perfection and there was also an extensive choice of soft drinks and coffees (including non dairy milk options). Drinks were provided in the room mini fridge and restocked daily with no extra charge. 

My husband and I treated ourselves to a massage and we were offered 15 minutes complimentary treatment in addition. I have worked in the spa industry and this is by far the best massage I have ever received! You must visit the spa during your stay. 

What sets this hotel apart is its staff team. Everyone works incredibly hard to make your stay a truly luxurious holiday to remember. From housekeeping (thank you to Veronica for looking after us during our stay), to restaurant staff (Barbara, Silvi, Diana, Tom, Sofia, George to name a few - absolutely wonderful people), to the Spa team (special thanks to Mary & Phoebe for an incredible massage), pool & bar staff, groundsmen and the lovely ladies on reception. You should be proud of how hard you all work. 

Overall I cannot praise the hotel enough! Details matter here, as does the excellent customer service delivered by all. We would return in a heartbeat. If you’re considering booking please do as you will not be disappointed.

Perfect honeymoon stay at The Ivi Mare

Outstanding treatment from the spar today , full body massage,facial , and head massage . Couldn’t recommend this enough who is thinking of a treatment done from the spar . From going in to the end of my treatment I was treated by the ladies in a very professional manner , especially Irene that give me my treatments . The manager was very helpful and discussed all treatments to my needs. Once again thank you for a lovely day 10/10 . The staff are a credit to the hotel .

Outstanding

The hotel was amazing as was the food the best Iv ever been to.  I also had a spa treatment with Reza, she was so fantastic and very professional and  put me at my ease from the first time I was introduced to her.  The whole spa staff are fabulous and when they come around the pool in the heat of the day with their ice cold towels which smell of fresh lemons it truly is heaven. I will be back

Hotel and spa experience

So sad to have left this beautiful hotel yesterday. We had a beautiful 2 week holiday and were really happy with the Ivi Mare.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable, well stocked with coffee etc and clean towels as often as you wish. Ask for a room facing the pool, the others face the road which is a bit grim.
The food is really lovely, breakfast had everything you could want it really did. We were B&B which was great, I think eating all that food for all inclusive could get a bit much, boring. We had 3 meals in the restaurant at night and it was really lovely.
The subbed are very comfy, there’s plenty of them which means at times you’re a bit too close to your neighbours!!! We tended to sit near the sea for the breeze, it was quieter too, although the beds not so fancy. 
The staff were all very, very helpful. Like everywhere you do get the odd grumpy staff member, but very few! 
My only little complaint, a couple of times we over heard staff being spoken to a bit rudely, by their colleagues. All the staff were clearly working their best, not nice to witness any conflicts.
However…we would definitely visit Ivi Mare again, gorgeous hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely holiday.

From arrival to departure everything about of holiday was 5 Star. It’s always the staff that play a huge part in attaining that rating. Often there is the corporate message but then rogue staff have their own agenda and standards. From the ladies on reception to the guys that served drinks by the pool (the app is AMAZING) serving orders made on the app so fast it was brilliant. Servers, Chefs lifeguard all obviously committed to delivering that 5 Star service. Underpinned by quality and cleanliness everywhere.
