When to go

Corfu has a pleasant climate all year round but, in general, the best times to visit are April to May, and September to November.

This is because the weather is pleasant to sunbathe and enjoy the sea, but you, there isn’t a massive influx of tourists.

Of course, many people would prefer to go to Corfu in June, July and August when the weather is at its warmest. So, if you prefer hot weather over a quiet resort, then the height of summer is the perfect time for you to visit.

Corfu is certainly not short of beaches. Pelekas Beach, Ipsos Beach and Ermones Beach are just three of the beaches in Corfu with gorgeous sand and water warm enough for swimming.

An interesting feature of Corfu is the fact that you can still see the influence of Venetian rule in the palaces, fortresses and historic monuments in the Old Town.
