This may have been a 4 star hotel in 1970 but not now. The worst front desk and facility maintenance I have seen in a long time. I visited during a heat wave and my $1000 a night room could not keep the A/C running. I had to report it 3 times. A repair was attempted ( like you IT department). Reboot it. Lasted 3 hours. It’s now 1130 pm and I have very upset family not able to sleep.

The worst of Kos

We booked this hotel with TUI, a last minute decision for us.  We read the reviews and almost all were very positive.  And rightly so.  It was a fantastic hotel, spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel.  Food was excellent, plenty of choice every night for dinner and a great breakfast each morning - again lots of choice.  There was something to suit all tastes.  The hotel has been refurbished and the rooms are lovely and spacious with everything you need.  Plenty of storage as well.  The walk in shower was great.  The dining room was light and airy and again, looks as if it had been refurbished.  There was also an option to eat outside.  The hotel supplies pool towels - 2 per room - which can be changed twice during a week's stay.  They are free of charge so don't believe the reviews which say you have to pay for them.  Similarly there is an in room safe, which again is free. 

The pool areas are beautiful and the gardens are well maintained throughout.  Sunbeds were always available whatever time of day we went to the pool - however, I'm not sure if the hotel was full and what it will be like in July or August I couldn't say. The sunbeds were always clean and there were plenty of umbrellas - 1 for every 2 sunbeds.  There is a swim up bar in the smaller pool but it was closed while we were there. There is also a bar/ restaurant beside the larger pool which is open throughout the day for food, drinks and ice cream. There is another bar near reception but that only opens in the evenings and the main bar which is off the dining area, again only opens in the evenings.  There is also a small shop in the hotel which sells a variety of items.  There was some form of entertainment each evening which was OK but not always great.  Though the entertainment team try hard.

All in all we were very happy with our stay. The hotel was fantastic but the resort of Psalidi is not so great.  It's a bit run-down and not many tavernas near the hotel and only a couple of small supermarkets.  You can walk to Kos Town - about 45 minutes or there are buses which cost 1 euro 20c each way.  They get very busy in the evenings though and if they are very full, they won't stop.  A taxi costs about 9 euros each way.

Wonderful hotel, the staff were all very hardworking and attentive.
The hotel grounds were immaculate and the overall vibe of the hotel was chilled, every credit to the staff as everything (food, drinks etc) flowed so well! 
Plenty of sun loungers and very comfy, free pool towels which you can change twice a week if required.
We walked into Kos a couple of nights, about 30 mins walk, we wanted a relaxing holiday and we were more than happy with everything!

We have just returned from our third visit to this hotel. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. The pool area is large and relaxing, we were always able to find a sunbed, even when returning to the hotel in the afternoon. 

The food in the main restaurant was varied and we always found something new to try. Thank you to Tonia who always welcomed us with a smile. 

The drinks are made to order at the evening bar (not pre mixed) and the drinks menu is extensive. Thank you to Giorgos, Stelios, Markos, Manolis and Spartak who work very hard every evening. 

The hotel is a 20 minute walk from Kos town, although a little difficult during the heat of the day, we enjoyed walking in after dinner for a few cocktails. Alternatively there is a bus stop at the end of the driveway or bikes to hire if preferred. 

We have had another lovely stay and look forward to returning again next summer.

We have returned after an 8 night stay and was so impressed all round. The hotel and grounds were so clean. Staff were very helpful and we really enjoyed the food in the restaurant as it was always piping hot and a great choice. Location was perfect as it was quiet but within walking distance to Kos Town. We walked to the marina and old town a few times. Small private beach opposite the hotel was nice and next to a nice Taverna. Always plenty of sun-beds and we preferred the pool with swim up bar as it was quieter although the bar wasn’t open during our stay. We would highly recommend this place and will probably return. Sunset trip to Zia and 3 island boat tour were very enjoyable.
