Pool

(We stayed in a jacuzzi room.)  As other reviews have mentioned, the rooms are quite impractical, although they look stylish. Impractical because there is next to nowhere to put your things - there is no furniture in the room other than a bed and some moulded concrete alcoves at floor level; the room doesn't look quite so stylish with 2 open suitcases taking up most of the floor space the whole time you're there! 

If you're a lady who likes to sit and do their hair and makeup - forget it - there is no dressing table, and no power outlet near enough to the only mirror, nor a chair either for that matter. There is a wooden "clothes rail" affair which provides approx 18" of hanging space. And you bump your head on the "lobster pot" lightshades every time you get in and out of the bed!  The standard of room cleaning was very slap dash - our toilet and shower weren't properly cleaned in 12 nights and the counter wasn't wiped from one day to the next. Curtains were falling down. Shower was excellent. Free safe in room. Large and very comfy bed. No kettle provided until we asked for one from reception. Jacuzzi was large, warm, powerful and clean, but not very private. 

We didn't use the pool. It's small and the area around it is overcrowded with sun beds. Lots of those are in the shade. Breakfast was good - wide selection, no complaints. Some nice outdoor tables to sit and eat at. Bar and restaurant were empty every evening - we didn't try them. 

It was annoying to be woken up every morning before 8am by a leaf blower, followed by cleaners shouting across the courtyard. (Church bells too, but that's beyond the remit of Casa Cabana haha). Not a place for a holiday lie-in.

Overall, Casa Cabana is pretty "vibeless" - there's no atmosphere at all about the place. Staff were polite and efficient (bar the cleaner) but not friendly or welcoming. Perhaps they'd had enough for the season. I've stayed in better hotels on Rhodes which charge a lot less than Casa Cabana. 

Faliraki isn't the most interesting of places. It's a purpose-built resort. Few Greeks live there outside the tourist season. There is no Greek charm. Not many restaurants serving authentic traditional Greek food. ("Sepp" is worth a visit for simple Greek cuisine and a lovely welcome.) The beach is great - long, clean and sandy, safe for children. Sunbeds are expensive at 20 Euros a pair.

I've stayed in better hotels on Rhodes which charge a lot less than Casa Cabana ..

Booked a very last minute stay at this lovely hotel, where we have stayed previously. 
We weren’t disappointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful and it was good to see staff that we’d met previously. 
Breakfast is excellent, lots of choice. Hotel is very clean, pool area relaxed. Hotel is in a very good position. Close to shops/bars/beach/bus etc but still quiet.
We were lucky enough to have a room upgrade which was wonderful.?
Look forward to our next visit

Another excellent visit

We just spent two amazing weeks at this lovely little boutique hotel! The location of the hotel is 10/10, you’re a short walk away from everything (2 mins or so)  but still far enough away from all the noise of the main strip!   The aesthetics are absolutely gorgeous and the hotel has such a lovely, chilled atmosphere.  I know there have been some comments about the size of the room however, we had no issues with the size. We just folded our clothes into the spaces provided by the clothes rail.  We had the jacuzzi room which was lovely however the only minor problem we had was there are no privacy walls covering the outside area and therefore we were never able to open the curtains which was a shame! We were half board; breakfast was a lovely little buffet which was always plentiful and flavourful but the a la carte options were absolutely incredible!!! Dinner each day had a different menu and they were very decadent meals!!!  Very upmarket and classy restaurant!  It felt like such a treat to eat there daily.  The pool is really lovely with cute little cabanas.  All the staff work really hard and were always so friendly.  Would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely come back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!!!

Lovely hotel

Fantastic boutique hotel. The staff make this hotel. Ideal quiet location with lots os restaurants and bars in easy reach. Housekeeping were brilliant and efficient.
We had a room with a pool which was worth the extra. The breakfast has plenty of choice. The pool was peaceful with plenty of sun beds and cabanas.

We booked our stay quite late (July) for September.  Booked via the hotels own site where you can also get transfers arranged.  We managed to book a private pool room with breakfast included.

On arrival at the airport, the taxi driver met us and we were at the hotel in what felt like no time.  The main area past reception where food and drink is served felt really open and relaxed.  This area leads out to the pool which isn't massive, but there are beds and chairs all around and it never looked crowded or had towels reserving areas.

Our room was everything you could ask for.  All normal things you'd expect from a modern hotel (TV, wifi, safe) were included along with a full size under counter fridge that you are free to use however (no weighted minibars here!).  There was also a Nespresso machine which had 2 complimentary pods which were replaced daily.

The outside area by the private pool was immaculate.  Wicker/rope type seats were available plus an area extending over the pool with a large double mattress type cushion where you can sunbathe.  
All the private pool rooms get the sun from sunrise until about 3PM when it moves over to the other side of the rooms.  This gives you a great opportunity to alternate between sunbathing and dipping in the pool.
The pool itself is about 1.2m deep and approximately 5x5m.  You won't be swimming lengths here but that's not the idea.  It's more than big enough to fit a blow up bed and float about on.

Breakfast was a buffet style with the usual range of cooked food, cold meats, fruit and pastries.  All were absolutely amazing and were constantly being refilled.  
We had lunch on a couple of occasions in the hotel and the same quality of food was here too.  Great portions of delicious foods at a really reasonable price.  

The hotel atmosphere feels like a really laid back, quiet place miles from civilization; though location wise it is perfectly situated a few minutes from supermarkets, restaurants, cocktail bars and the beach.

All the staff were (as you always hope with hotels) really friendly. 

All in all, a perfect week away in a hotel that made it so easy to relax and unwind.
