Pool

It was a very nice hotel, we had a nice room with seeview, tip: take the favoriteclub! Cleaning was good and pretty fast, food was good. Mostly well attended buffet, not to busy, tables were fast cleaned after use, staff were very friendly, a spatreatment with Maria or Enrika from aegeo spas is a must do!

Love greek islands

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Firstly its not really as advertised. An aerial view of the site shows 3 pools and quite al large sunbed area. However this is misleading. The smaller two pools and the area around them, closest to the sea are part of the Garden Club. This is an area that, unless you have specifically booked, is not available to the majority of the guests. They do offer day tickets,but at 50 euros per person this is I feel overpriced for what is a slightly less crowded area. As a result most guests are limited to one pool, which gets crowded. Sunbeds are at a premium and, despite the hotel discouraging it, are subject to towel hogging. There is little shade. I get the impression that this two tier system is not advertised and is a surprise to most people.

The rooms are adequate, but ours had a shower bath rather than a walk in shower making it rather cramped and , at my age, a bit precarious. On the plus side it was quiet and dark and I slept well.

On the up side the food is buffet style help yourself and was uniformly good and varied. There is one speciality surcharged restaurant, although we got a free go with a weeks stay. The food and service were again good. The drinks package is limited to local stuff with top shelf extra, but the barmen can usually find a work around for most cocktails. Staff are polite and friendly. 

My view is that the hotel is average. I mostly enjoyed my stay but wouldn't revisit.

Mixed Feelings

Bathroom design very poor, have to walk in sideways to avoid sink unit. Room wasn't cleaned until we complained of thick dust on the floor. Despite advanced emails no gluten free basic food, bread, cereal and pasta fo 4 days! Bar and restaurant staff were great. Special mention to Tony and Alexander in the bar and Lili in the restaurant. This hotel needs to improve, wouldn't recommend.

Certainly not 4 star!

Check in was poor. 2 females checking in but more interested in chatting than seeing to us. Given incorrect information about Al a cart restaurant availability as we were MFC. We were not acknowledged as MFC on check in and given wrong directions to the room.
The air conditioning was poor.
The bathroom lay out is poor, the shower in a bath which is tiny, to get into the bathroom you have to bend around the door , toilet and sink.
The bath is not fit for purpose it needs to be replaced with a walk in shower as the bath is tiny with no hand rails.
The food is amazing at lunch and evening however the breakfast was a let down. The powdered scrambled eggs are disgusting. The omelette should be fresh with a choice of filling.

The furniture in the foyer bar is very low and not suitable for adults yet it’s an adult only hotel.

The MFC pools were fantastic as was Vlasses on the bar, the standard pool looked very cramped and people were reserving their beds from around 6am each day.

The cleaning staff, bar staff, restaurant staff all great as was the man in reception. Sadly the 2 females on reception weren’t.

When upgraded to MFC you would expect premium drinks not the standard served in the other bars.

Could be so much better with a few tweaks!!

Just beware of the many steps and ask when checking in to be given a hand to your room. We weren’t offered assistance and it was really difficult as we were sea view with many many steps.

Far too many steps

Ideal for beach vacationers, this hotel lies in Amboula, just a few steps from the sandy beach. There is a bus stop right next to the building. It is about 6 miles to Zakynthos (ZTH) Airport. The hotel has an elevator and features 161 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A laundry service and a lounge are available. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the parking lot. The standard amenities of some rooms include a balcony or terrace, providing extra room for relaxation. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A flatscreen television with satellite channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable vacation. A hairdryer is provided in the bathrooms. As an extra convenience, bathrooms provide cosmetic products.
