Very good rooms, the beds are super comfy and so large !! Clean, everything you need in room. The breakfast is rich and very good. Swimmingpool and bar on the rooftop was just amazing. The staff is nice.

Very good hotel

We feel so lucky to have booked our stay at this hotel! Even if it is rated at 3*, it can certainly aspire to more, due to the quality of the services offered. The room with a side view of the sea is spacious, with new furniture and enough USB sockets to charge the electronics, the smart TV, the very useful refrigerator, the air conditioning works optimally, and the Ness coffee in sachets and the condensed milk capsules are supplied daily as needed.
You can choose whether or not you want the daily cleaning of the rooms or the change of towels, in the spacious bathroom there are enough supplies. The view from the terrace on the 14th floor is fabulous, here you find the pool which is not heated but I saw brave people who used it when the outside temperature rose to 20°C.
The breakfast buffet is very rich, with a variety of dishes that alternate during the mornings, the staff is very prompt when clearing the tables and always with a smile on their face.
We thank the reception for responding very promptly to our request in which we preferred a room on a floor as high as possible and with a view close to the sea.
Alavits is one of the best hotels I've stayed in in terms of the service quality/price ratio and we can only recommend it wholeheartedly!

Top hotel

Hotel is brand new, opened in 2023. I liked its industrial decor with unfinished ceilings in the rooms. Room was of a good size and clean. We had a side sea view room on the upper floors but at the far end of the building from the sea. Thus, the direct view was more of a city view rather than the view to the bay along the street and over and through other balconies.
There is a pool and sun terrace on the 14th  floor with great views to Sliema and Valletta.
Location Is good only a few steps from a bus stop (20 min to Valletta). Some 10 min walk to Sliema's shopping areas and ferry to Valletta, about 30 min on foot to St. Julians. 
Many of the "city view" rooms seem to face a shaft-like inner court where the opposite balcony is only a few metres away.
Breakfast is nothing to write home about. At a first glance it looks plentiful, but there's room for improvement. A couple of types of bread, ham, salami or mortadella, one type of cheese, bacon, eggs in three different forms, fried potatoes, baked beans, yoghurt, fruit salad, cereals etc.  The warm foods were usually only luke warm. Weak machine coffee and diluted juices.



Good modern hotel

Malta vacation stop before flying home to Canada. A few info about the hotel: Very good location, good service, good breakfast, the room was nice modern and clean very good mattress, with the golf view from the balcony -12 floor. (just an observation if you select the cheapest rooms the view will be on a small interior court, keep in mind!) FOR MANAGEMENT: need to add towel hooks in the sower, something to keep the toothbrushes AND the TV does not need "tons" of channels that do not work- 5 for each language is good in my opinion. (same review on Google)

Excelent location, close to St Julien and Valleta.

Just sometimes bad smell in the bathroom from sweage pipes.
