The hotel is based 2 minutes on a walk to the beach and 2 minutes away from the busy nightlife in St. Julian's. There are plenty of restaurants,  pubs, 24x7 convenience stores,  pharmacy etc around the hotel.
But it's the hotel staff which makes a big difference to the overall experience. Olga at the reception is the best customer service executive at the hotel, and she goes above and beyond to make guests stay exceptional and memorable ones. Thank you so much for being so kind to listen to small issues that I faced during my stay and immediately sorting it out for me. She kindly offered me a room with a view on the fifth floor for the rest of my stay and ensured that I was well looked after.l at the hotel. Thank you so much, Olga and also Juliette, who is equally good in customer services. In the restaurant, Manav leads from the front and is always very switched on. He helped a friend of mine in giving valuable suggestions for important queries. I would highly recommend Alaxandra Hotel to my friends and family and would return here in the future. You guys are amazing and looking forward to see in future as well.

Third time here and the resort gets busier post Covid. Unfortunately the hotel has got worse. I stayed in room 117 and the room was basic but clean. I cannot fault the staff or service but the noise is unbearable. Raised voices and screaming until 4 in the morning, cars revving and zero soundproofing to rooms. I did not sleep well any of my 3 night stay. 

I would not stay again. The Cavalieri Arts Hotel is a similar price point and in a much better location.

Overall not all the hotels fault. Paceville just seems to get sleazier, noisier and less regulated.

Fine for stags and hens, not couples or families.

Fantastic pools up on the roof and down in the basement, always good to have breakfast included. Great balcony views overlooking the sea, would very much recommend

Great customer service

At 4 a.m., a stranger entered my room, and there wasn't any proper response from the administration. I was just lucky to quickly wake up before the man approached my bed. Also, when I tried calling reception just after the incident, the phone in the room did not work (even though it worked a few days before), so I had to go downstairs. I asked to change my room, but they only replaced my card key. I do not recommend this hotel to solo travellers, especially women. Now, I have to deal with it in therapy. Worst experience ever.

This hotel is located at the centre of the city, in the famous St. Julian district, and is within walking distance from the nearest local beach. The hotel is located in the Paceville area of St Julians, full of restaurants, bars and clubs, only 450 m from Spinola Bay. The hotel is 8 minutes' walk away from the Dragonara Casino and 300 m from St Julians bus terminal.
