My recent stay (1 hour) at a hotel was an absolute disappointment and a lesson in frustration. Despite the warm temperatures outside, we were looking forward to a comfortable stay with the aid of air conditioning. However, to our dismay, we found the air conditioning unit could only heat the room and was locked to this setting. When we approached the reception about this issue, we were met with a baffling explanation that this was part of their new "eco-friendly policy" and that the air conditioning would not be operational in the cooling mode. This reasoning was ludicrous and completely unacceptable.

To make matters worse, opening the windows was not an option as our room was located above a restaurant, which filled our room with the unpleasant odor of oil. The hotel staff refused to adjust the air conditioning settings, leaving us with no choice but to endure a stuffy, uncomfortable night or find alternative accommodations. We were forced to hastily book another hotel, yet the hotel refused to issue a refund, despite the clear advertisement on booking platforms that air conditioning was included in the amenities.

Claiming to be eco-friendly while unnecessarily heating rooms when not needed is not only ironic but also highly irresponsible. Furthermore, the rooms were uncomfortably small, lacking basic amenities such as a wardrobe, offering only a cheap metal shelf for storage.

This experience was by far the worst hotel stay of my life. The lack of consideration for guest comfort and the absurd eco-friendly policy justification were appalling. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The discomfort, lack of sleep, and additional stress of finding new accommodations at the last minute were completely unwarranted. Avoid at all costs!

Worst hotel ever

Great comfortable, modern. Hotel with everything you need. Breakfast great.most importantly staff made it into a great experience. Everyone was really helpful and friendly.  One day,I was not feeling well. Manager ensured I had breakfast; cleaning lady asked if she can help etc. nothing was too much effort there was a bar at the to and a swimming pool but we didn’t use it so can’t comment.

Great service, convenient location

This is a great little hotel, everything is at hand.  It's typically takes seconds to get to breakfast, the roof top pool or the exit.  Breakfast is excellent and well provisioned.  It's situated within easy walking of both a brash area, the coast and other numerous restaurants.  The hotel lift is particularly good, without any irritating waits to open and close doors.

If you book with TUI, you will be disappointed with regards to car parking which TUI says it has.  TUI are correct in that there is a perfectly good car park which the hotel does not allow anyone to use.  The hotel says it's due to the car lift not working. 
 However I am sceptical, as I witnessed great attention to detail with regards to correcting faults within the hotel.  Car parking on the street can be irritating, especially with a hire car, where any little scratch can produce a bill running into many hundred of pounds.  Still, there is parking, typically within 600 metres of the hotel.  

If you have a packed breakfast, this is made from the previous days breakfast and can be pretty horrid.  Ask to make your own packed breakfast, which is kept in a fridge for the next day.

We would stay here again.

Great Hotel, just don't expect a Car Park that you can use.

My sister and I needed a good getaway. As such, we chose to visit Malta and we stayed at Ibis Styles St Paul Bay Malta. Our experience was amazing. The staff members were very welcoming and humble.
