Ideally situated..we loved every minute of our stay nothing was too much trouble.
Room was cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels..breakfast was great and suitable for all tastes..recommended..

Fabulous 

We stayed in the rooftop suite. The suite itself was well laid out with everything one would expect. The suite also has exclusive access to a huge outdoor area overlooking Valletta and Sliema and featuring a large hot tub. The weather was too cold during our visit to make use of the rest of the rooftop, but the hot tub was perfect even in winter.

There was also a small balcony with partially obstructed views in the opposite direction overlooking St John's Co-Cathedral, which is right behind the hotel.

Some of the fixtures (e.g. taps, bathroom hooks, tiles) were damaged or broken and needed some upkeep, but this didn’t impact on our stay.

The buffet breakfast was very tasty and the staff very friendly.

The location was perfect, but Valletta is a tiny city and anywhere within the city walls would be equally perfect.

The location is the best! Pedestrian zone. Walking distance to restaurants, excursion pick up, souvenir shopping, ATMs, museums and plenty of old world charm. Quiet, super fast WiFi, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast array with choice of hot, cold, pastries…and very supportive front desk.  Definitely would stay there again.

Absolutely love this hotel.

Visited Malta numerous times but first time at this hotel. All I can say is wow. 

Taxi driver dropped me up the end of the street as pedestrian only zone. The lady on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I arrived around noon. She told me my room was ready. So welcome after a very early flight. 

The location is fabulous. I wasn't disturbed by noise although it is right in the centre of Valletta. 

It's real luxury. Bathroom modern, spotless and so classy. 
Bed very comfortable. Free WiFi and breakfast was great and included in my room rate. 

Absolutely loved it here and would definitely return. 

Loved it !

We booked a 2 night stay at this hotel back in March through Expedia.  Confirmation received through Expedia on the same day. Arriving today, we are told by the Receptionist that our reservation had been cancelled by Expedia on the 1st May. We have received no information about a cancellation. We spoke to Expedia who told us it was the hotel who cancelled the booking. Expedia spoke to the hotel directly and told them they had cancelled the booking. The Receptionist denied this but then 'found' 2 messages that had been sent by the hotel, but did not know if they had been sent directly to us (they weren't) or Expedia. Expedia say not. The Receptionist said the hotel did not take Amex, so they cancelled the booking.  Expedia say no reason was given. Expedia accept Amex through their booking system.  We asked to speak to the Manager. She rang him - he was out shopping and did not like being interrupted.  He was rude, aggressive and unprofessional. Basically, the message was 'we couldn't care less - go away!'.  This hotel has got 1 star, only because I can't give it zero. We now have to find somewhere else to stay tonight.
