Pool

We stayed here September 12-15 and had an average stay. Want to give 5 stars but there was one hiccup we couldn't get over. We booked a Seaview Room online via The Embassy's  website thinking we'd get a better room since we booked directly with them. The view was nice however we were right underneath the rooftop restaurant. Room 603 to be exact. We could hear dragging of table, chairs, etc ALL DAY long. The noise stopped between the hrs. of midnight - 6:30am since the rooftop is closed at that time. But promptly around 6:30am the noise starts back up. We did mention to mgmt which tried to rectify but how can you ask guests not to drag their chair? So nothing mgmt can really do but apologize which was nice of them too. My husband was a very light sleeper so we was frustrated and even napping during the day was impossible. 

The positive is the hotel itself is VERY nice! The room was decor was in great taste, the rooftop view and location can't be beat! Chiara, Paola and Aleksandr who worked the front desk was really pleasant to speak with. We arrived early and our flight home was late and they happily stored our luggage for us until we needed them. 

Again, no problems with the hotel or people itself. It was our room and where it was situated. If you are placed in Room 603 beware or know you will not get much rest.

OK stay

We had a great 4 nights at this hotel. We had a room on the 6th floor, with small balcony, overlooking the roof tops of Valetta. (The sea view rooms would be even better, but unfortunately were booked out.)  Rooms very comfortable, with all amenities. Extremely clean, and quiet … great sound proofing on windows. Even the tolling of nearby church bells were greatly softened (but still audible, which we loved!) The front desk staff were really fabulous - kind, friendly and extremely helpful. A great team! (And the glass of Prosecco they offered us on our arrival was greatly appreciated, after our 36 hour journey from Sydney!) The hotel is perfectly positioned, we walked everywhere in Valetta, and to the ferry to the 3 cities.
So why only 4 stars? Our main issue was the rooftop pool and restaurant area. Very confused- is it a pool area, or a restaurant?! The day we arrived  we ate dinner in the restaurant with a view of rather large people in small swimmers blocking the views of Valetta. Don’t mind on the beach, but not while we’re eating! Didn’t ever use the pool, always too busy. And food very mediocre, it was the only time we ate there. 
Of lesser concern to us, but maybe for others, the shower is over the bath, and the bath is deep .. would be very difficult for anyone with even the smallest mobility issue. Housekeeping tardy as well .. on 2 occasions we returned to the hotel around 3 pm and had to ask for our room to be made up.
But would we stay here again? A definite yes!

Very happy with our hotel choice …

The Embassy Valletta Hotel is very well-run, well-maintained, comfortable, with much attention given to the guest’s total experience. It is conveniently located in the center of old Valletta. We highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable hotel

We arrived at the hotel early (we had an early flight) and knew that we probably couldn't check in.  We were greeted with a welcome drink and our luggage was stored (after the staff offered to try to expedite the room turn over).  And this level of service was indicative of our stay.  Nothing was too much trouble and all staff we dealt with or even save saw in the corridors or around the hotel were very friendly and polite.  (A particular mention to Paola who we dealt with often on reception and was very helpful.)  Our room was lovely, an inside view of an atrium but it was still light and airy.  

The location of the hotel is excellent - not too many hills to get there with luggage from the bus station and very central for all points of interest.  We would definitely return and recommend this hotel to friends.

Excellent hotel, really helped make our stay!

Highly recommend the Embassy hotel. Everything is just perfect. But the best is the staff. Everyone is very nice and make their best in order to turn your stay into a special experience. Location, view, food and rooms...all excellent
