Pool

We stayed at the resort from 14-17 june, we arrived pretty late the resort itself is nice but the apartments are very outdated and not the basic hotel expectation met. The beds were not made very dirty covers on beds that looked like havent been washed in 5 years stained pillows in the closet not on bed it was 5 of us the sofa bed was not made and when i called at 1am they told me i have to open the bed my self and make it for my self i couldnt do it as it was heavy and stuck they manage to get to the apartment with new pillows and the security guy opened the bed for me and told me to make it for myself we got the most fartherest apartment it was 15 mins walk from reception, when i woke up the bed folded in half as it was not secure to sleep on worst sleep ever in this 3 nights they dont change towels or clean the room only in every 2 days it was 5 of us and only had 4 towels the room service is terrible the blanket dont have any covers on they are ugly and weird old brown blankets 4* not met at the apartments i would give 2 at best. The resort is beautiful but wont come back as they are not focusing on the apartments.

Poor room service

The resort in my opinion is not 4 star. It's a 3 star at best. We went in June. Unfinished building works to pathways & pavements just left with barriers around them. Tiles missing in the pools. Paving all around the pools very dangerous as all broken & uneven. Serious health & safety issues. I have walking difficulties and requested a ground floor apartment close to a pool & the reception... I was put in a top floor apartment and far away from a pool and the reception. We had emailed 10 months prior to our stay this request. The reception team are not very friendly at all. They do not want to be disturbed and they make you feel like you are being a nuisance. Very grumpy older man on the front desk. Don't know his name but he is very abrupt. They promised to call us if a ground floor apartment became available, however, we are back 2 weeks now and we are still waiting for the call!!!! All in all, very poor resort. Run down & unfriendly.  We didn't feel welcome at all. It was very much the attitude of we have your money and we don't care. Just my opinion but it also wasn't family friendly. We have two children and there were large groups of teenagers boys & girls partying in the apartment adjacent and below ours for the first 4 nights!!! Nope not for me ever again.

Awful stay.

This place is a total disappointment and health & safety issue.. Bed and sofa bed broken/dirty. Floor broken/holes in. Hair dryer broken. Good awful. Reception attitude toward my flagging the issues awful. We visited the gym and indoor pool - no attendant, all machines rusted and dangerous plus changing rooms were covered in towels and rubbish. It’s full of large groups of young lads! It’s not within walking distance to anywhere / or good restaurant - you could feel rather stranded here. You’d need to take a bus to town and reception give no advice on anything unless you specifically ask. 

Rated as a 4  star and at best I’d give it a 2 star and that’s being generous.

DO NOT BOOK - ROOM 104  IS AWFUL

Lovely complex, staff very helpful. we had a 2 bedroom villa on the ground floor for our family of 5. Very clean had all the mod cons you could ask for inc 2 bathrooms. Housekeeping came every 2nd day with clean towels etc. The only complaint I would have is regarding the bad smell coming from the en-suite bathroom at the night. It was so bad I did mention it to the cleaning ladies but didn’t seem to have any idea what it might be.
There is a good variety of pools scattered around but we found some quite deep for our kids with no life guard that we could see.
It seemed to be more suited to couples & singles than families. The beach is about a 10 min walk which was lovely. There was no entertainment in the hotel so We got bolt & Uber into town which was very cheap. 
We also went to zoo marine on 2 days which we really enjoyed. We didn’t eat in restaurant just the pizzeria one night which was very nice. We ate in portobello restaurant down the road on a few nights which was also very nice and competitively priced.

Quite location

Easy check in, reception lady was lovely.  Pool area clean, plenty of sunbeds, no big rush in the morning, had breakfast one morning which was nice.
Bit of the way but would stay again.
Was upgraded to 2 bedroom apartment, had everything you needed.
All the staff were friendly.
