Stayed here for 4 nights in September and was possibly the worst place I have ever stayed. Have read a lot of reviews since returning about a certain woman on reception being very rude. It’s safe to say she made our stay extremely miserable. Immediately demanded $100 from the two of us when we arrived, although there is no mention of this online. We did not bring enough cash so had to use an ATM and were told that if we could not do so, it was ‘tough’ and we couldn’t stay there. No beds - just hard sofas. The pool and rooms are absolutely crawling with ants. Shower is disgusting. Please save your money and stay somewhere else. Not sure how the woman on reception is still working there. Absolutely disgusting attitude.

Avoid at all costs

I have just come back from a 3 day trip to Algarve and stayed in this hotel.

I had booked this through EasyJet Holidays and it was a fair price of £214 each, I came with one friend. So a trip with 2 young girls (20)

Upon arrival, check in was straightforward other than being demanded €100 per person deposit in cash, this was not stated online so thought it were a scam. ATM machine is outside of the hotel and it only takes out euros, they offered us to pay in pounds too but didn’t bring any cash.

I asked some people who were walking into the hotel, a group of young lads to which they said they had the same experience and were a group of 8 so €800 deposit.

Since being here I have witnessed at reception an elderly couple not being charged the €100 euro fee, so seems rather ageist towards the younger youth.

Rooms were very basic, no beds only hard sofas with 2 flat pillows and a thin blanket.
Many ants running wild in the rooms.
It has everything you’d need including a kitchenette and ironing facilities, shower was okay but goes cold after 5 minutes.

Pool facilities are nice, 2 outdoor pools and 1 inside pool plus jacuzzi. 

We were greeted with a long list of rules (I have attached a photo) I found some of these rules a bit over the top, such as no music by the pool and no inflatables, some rules were fair.

Hotel guests vary from young adults to elderly, I have not seen any families with young kids here. Wouldn’t recommend for people with younger children.

The hotel is situated in a great location, 5 minutes away from the strip and a 10 minute walk to the closest beach. Plenty of food and drink places around, we were self catering and did not struggle to find something to eat.

All in all, I would recommend this hotel for people who just want a base to put their head down. However you get what you pay for, so can’t expect the world of it.

Average Hotel

Excellent apartment. All very spacious. Close to The Strip ,if you like drunken parties and loud music...Close to Old Town and you can walk to it .Takes around 15mins..Close to a large Aldi ..Takes around 12 mins to walk there.. Also a large Lidl ,but Takes around 45 to 50 mins walk. Plenty of Tuk Tuks though..Very good accommodation for SC . .and the Neto restaurant about 5mins away has great food and great service..Always busy .Best to book though ...

Ouratlantico Apartments. 

I was apprehensive at first after reading reviews as many are negative.

But i would not listen to them! This place was amazing!! Pay for what you get. The apartment was spacious and clean. The staff friendly and the young lady who works in the bar was lovely!

Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed it.

You are literally on the doorstep of the strip but cant hear anything! Just turn right at the entrance and youre there!

We didnt get chance to try the indoor pool and sauna but next time we will! 
We have already looked into coming back!

Amazing

Worst hotel on planet earth! So unhelpful. 
Room wasn’t cleaned once had to keep asking reception for toilet roll and they would give us 1 at a time. No fresh towels had to ask for them also. So outdated seats in the room had rips in them and the ceiling had mold also. Place is an absolute dive. Wouldn’t recommend to my dog never mind another human.Real shame because albefira is an amazing country and has so much fun plus the lovely weather

This friendly apart hotel is excellently located in the popular holiday resort of Albufeira, only 500 m from Oura Beach and within minutes from the famous strip with its abundance of restaurants, bars, pubs and shopping facilities.
