Beautiful gardens overlooking stunning beach. 3 pools all well maintained one of them overlooking beach. A special thanks to Michelle who looks after this pool supplying towels arranging beds, umbrellas and delivering drinks and food. She is constantly on her feet and is the most hardworking member of staff.

Wonderful Vilalara

This property is an absolute paradise and well worth the price. You could not ask for a more beautiful setting with a most helpful, professional staff. All of the facilities are top notch, the rooms are large, well-appointed and equipped with very comfortable beds and linens. Once on the property there is no need to leave as there are three very good restaurants to choose from. Not to mention the fact that you get to start each day with a wonderful breakfast overlooking the resorts private beach and the sea. My wife enjoyed "probably the best massage I've ever had" in the spa and that is just a small part of the services they offer. I would highly recommend this resort to friends, family and clients without hesitation.

Absolute paradise

A magical place with the most beautiful gardens,
from the moment you walk into the place you will be
met with friendly faces. There are 5 superb swimming pools and all the staff cannot do enough for you ! A special mention to Daniela who was most helpful with advising us on boat trips and answering any questions and Raquel in the restaraunt was so friendly and the breakfast was 💯% with the best fruit you can imagine, so what sets this hotel apart is the friendliness of the staff and that is everybody, it is evident that the staff enjoy their job. The food in the restaurants is exceptional and fairly priced. 
It is a very calm hotel with a relaxed atmosphere,
so in conclusion a big thank you to all the magnificent staff.

This is a dream resort where everything is perfection. The rooms are large and comfortable with the nice sized balconies with a table for two people and a very comfortable couch. The bathrooms are well appointed with toiletries and an excellent hairdryer. The layout of the bathrooms makes for great storage of all of your toiletries as well. The resort has multiple restaurants, all of which have excellent food. The pools were abundant and very clean. The beach is a few steps down from the main area of the hotel and is set up with towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas for the guests. The view from the beach is stunning. There are some excellent local eateries within walking distance or a very short eight minute Uber ride, costing probably no more than five euros. We loved staying here and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic Resort

I paste hear the review I made directly today to the Villalara THALASSA Resort hotel: “I went to the hotel with a clear purpose of losing weight. The weight loss program that was advertised on internet and on the information given by email stated clearly that the very expensive  packaging includes a “Plan of healthy, tasty, low calories meals”. I felt totally cheated because it was obvious after a few days that there was no such plan at all. I had to make lots of complaints and went to a certain level of stress to get my diet better organized and coordinated. After 3 days of complaint  I was finally presented with a plan of 1200 calories per day so I decided to stay and give a second chance, but unfortunately only after a few days a realized that it was an improvised diet and  not properly planed and coordinated. As a result, after 13 nights, on the last day of the program,  I discovered that I had lost only 600 gr when I could have lost easily a minimum of 1, 5 kg if it was  done correctly and well organized. Although I had physical activities on my program every day at my request,  the spa put too much emphasis on the spa treatments instead of more emphasis on the activities, and the diet did not help for it did not correspond to the 1200 calories per day at all. Besides as there was not a well coordinated plan, the nutritional value  of the diet was not good enough, so after 10 days I felt very week and my blood pressure was very low.  I corrected that eating immediately some olives and eating an orange in the middle of the day. I did my part and sticked  to the program and remained active and disciplined for those 13 days. I have a long experience of going to weigh loss programs in many places in Brazil and in Europe, so I am confident to say that it was a very disappointing experience going to a 5 star hotel that promise a weight loss program and fails on the most important item of the packaging: a healthy tasty and low calorie diet. First of all, it was promised a 1200 calories diet per day and it was not, secondly,  many meals were improvised and had almost no taste, I had to add salt, olive oil an pepper at the table becouse there was no seasoning at all. There was a lack of fresh green salad to the meals which helps a lot with the nutritional value, fibers and are not caloric which helps a lot to leave you satisfied. I stayed  12 days spent a lot of money and could not reach a simple goal of losing at least 1 kg! This is outrageous and unacceptable, I think  I should  be compensated at least in part  of my investment and also for the stress I went through. Apologies are not enough.” This is called false propaganda, it’s so shameful for a hotel on this category to take so much money, energy and the precious time of a guest  in the name of profit.

The weigh loss program is a scam! Be careful!
