Been going to Carvoeiro for 30years this was our first stay at Algar Seco, we stayed in Catrineta 4 the apartment was everything we expected spacious and very clean, it had a  large terrace with wonderful sea views 
. All the staff were really good reception, cleaner Celia and gardeners.
We ate at the Bistro a few times my favourite place to eat and the staff are great
Hope we manage to get booked for next year

Great sea views

Simply the most wonderful place you can stay in the Algarve! We stayed in Catrineta 6 mid-February till mid-March 2024 and we couldn’t have asked for more! The suite had everything you could wish for in a longer term stay. Our housekeeper was Mila and she was wonderful! The front office staff could not have been more helpful, especially Madeleina and Edite. Thank you all so much for making our holiday truly exceptional!

Simply the best place to stay in the Algarve!

I describe Algar Secq as “our little piece of paradise”.   It is such a special place with a very tranquil atmosphere.  The staff are so welcoming and helpful.  We had a studio room with simple Portuguese decor & spotlessly clean.  The view was amazing - over the cliffs to the ocean.  There is a small Bistro on site which serves delicious food too.

Our Happy Place

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, it was extremely spacious, well equipped, immaculately clean and had the most beautiful sea views. The grounds are kept pristine, the pool area is lovely and the Bistro offers a great selection of reasonably priced food and drinks. One of the best resorts we have had the pleasure of staying in. The location is also fantastic. Close enough to all the restaurants and bars but it still had that secluded, peaceful feel. The staff were very friendly, all up until the last day when I called reception and the person I spoke to was very rude. It took me by surprise as everyone had been so friendly up to that point. It was a bit of a disappointment to end on our last day and also a shame that one person let them down but I guess we all have bad days! This isn’t meant to put anyone off, I’ve added it in the hope the member of staff sees this and perhaps improves her telephone manner! Highly recommend this beautiful resort.

Beautiful place

Stayed in 2 bedroomed bungalow overlooking the sea mid June 2024, absolutely fantastic view from the spacious terrace. The staff, services all exceeded our expectations. Deserves more than 3 stars on booking.com website.
Direct access to a beautiful coastal boardwalk into the local town of Carvoeiro, easy access to restaurants, shops.
