This hotel was in a nice location close to the main area of Lagos and directly across from the pedestrian bridge to the marina. The rooms were very nice, but be aware there is no separate bathroom - just a thin curtain that separates the shower/sink/toilet from the bed. This provides very little privacy. We also upgraded to a marina view and wish we hadn’t because the marina smelled very fishy for the duration of our time so we weren’t able to enjoy the balcony (not the hotels fault, but something to be aware of). There were also no blackout/thick curtains on the windows that faced the marina meaning the early morning sun came streaming in. 

The front desk staff was very helpful and gave us many recommendations during our stay. The breakfast was also fantastic and not to be missed!!

Good location, nice rooms

The hotel is located near the marina and has great access to public transportation and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and professional. The room was not your standard room since shower and toilet are in one side and the vanity in the another part of the room, but it was very clean and comfortable. Amenities are great and the restaurant has a great selection and service. The only issue we had was parking at the hotel, but there were options two blocks away. I will definitely come back and stay longer because the overall experience.

Our Visit to Avenida Lagos Hotel

Multiple issues on first day at this hotel. Arrived at 1430, told room would not be ready until 1500. Went and ate lunch, came back at 1600 gave us key cards and room number, told us sorry no one can help carry luggage or show us to the room because it's "low season". The TV/internet broken and unable to fix, they made us give them 10 euros as a down payment for umbrella. We have asked to speak to a manager for assistance, they told us they would leave a note and are hoping to speak to one in the morning.

Multiple Issues in "low season"

Perfect hotel for a great stay in Lagos. Very clean and beautiful, comfortable  decor.  The pool area is stunning with fantastic views over the Marina.  Service is 5 star and all the staff are very attentive , friendly and helpful.  Dining staff are wonderful!  the hotel is in a great location and a short walk to the old centre and all the restaurants.  Will definitely return.

Amazing stay in Lagos

A great 3 night stay, reception were very helpful with local recommendations, good quality bar and good breakfast. The pool on the roof is cool but was too windy to use during our stay. The rooms are comfortable and modern but don’t have a proper bathroom - there are glass cubicles containing the toilet and shower and the sink is in the main room.

Great for a few days in Lagos

Located in Lagos center and 700 meters from Meia Praia BeachLagos Avenida Hotel is set in Lagos city centre and within a 10-minute walk from Meia Praia Beach. There is a roof-terrace with a infinity pool and amazing views to the Marina and to the sea. During the winter (Nov. to March) the pool is heated.

All modern rooms offer a balcony or terrace with views of the marina or city, air-condition, flat-screen TV and a bathroom with toiletries. You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property. The nearest airport is Faro Airport, 80 km from the property.
