Arrived 10th May 2023 for 2 nights stay, original Apartment Complex was closed so were changed to Eden Village & how lucky were We? Receptionist Sandra made Us feel very welcome, explaining all about the accommodation, pool & complex. She advised Us of local Restaurants & Marina, helped with booking Taxis & a great boat trip to caves & dolphins. Extremely helpful & so lovely to chat too, made our stay Top Class. Accommodation was fantastic, plenty of space, clean & well equipped kitchen. 1 bedroom with en suite bath, shower & toilet plus a separate shower & toilet room for guests using sofa bed. Kitchen with sink, proper cooker, toaster, kettle, crockery & utensils you’d need. Good pool area with kids pool & 1.2m to 1.6m deep pool with wide steps leading in with loungers & parasols provided. Definitely returning as soon as possible 

AMAZING 

Lovely clean, spacious apartment, amazing reception staff and great pool. I stayed with my eight-year-old twins and the location was perfect. Plenty of parking within the gated complex.  Easy to get an Uber anywhere and the beach was  gorgeous close by. You can get a cooked breakfast within a 5-10 minute walk just ask reception staff were to go. Sandra is an amazingly helpful, sweet person on reception and definitely in the right job she contributed to our stay then so awesome. The other receptionist I only spoke to on the phone Carla and she was equally as lovely. There is also a SPAR shop which has practically everything you need for your stay there is a bar practically next door. The apartment has a washing machine which is very handy and do remember to bring dishwasher tablets with you or you can purchase them at spar. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, which was fantastic! And very clean will definitely stay again high quality service here.

Beautiful apartments, great location

Lovely 2 bed, 2 bath apartment. Lots of room for a family of four. 2 balconies, 1 with a table, chairs & umbrella, the other had a clothes horse for drying clothes. 
We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, had to ring for someone to meet us. 
There is a €300 deposit required when staying here!!!! We were not informed of this at any stage!
The lady gave us the keys and directions to the apartment & left us to it. Neither of the toilets in the apartments were working. We tried ringing the previous contact number but only got a voice message in Portuguese. Called to the reception on Monday. Apparently they were aware of the toilet issue and were waiting on a part and thought the weekend staff had advised us of this. They took copies of our passports & I asked what would be the protocol for checkout (basically drop the keys in the letter box since we would be leaving early Sunday morning). Our stay was pleasant. The apartment had aircon in both bedrooms and the living room. The pool area was well kept and tidy. The square in between the apartment blocks could do with some repairs as some of the floor tiles were broken. But overall we enjoyed our stay here. Just waiting now for our deposit to be returned 😔

Enjoyable experience

What a wonderful, sweet place to stay. We were a business group staying in both 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Both types were huge, some of the biggest we have ever stayed in. Lovely, clean and neutral decor with fantastic balconies. Pool area very clean and although quiet for the time of year we imagine even in summer it would still be very peaceful. 

Just 3.50 for a Uber to the amazing marina but also within 10 minutes walking distance to a local Spar and numerous bars and restaurants. Our favourites were Graces restaurant and Parky's Bar along with Sailors Corner next to the Spar. Whilst no breakfast is offered onsite you have VilaFlor breakfast cafe 2 mins down the road. One of the best English breakfasts we have ever had abroad. The little tourist train stops down the road and for 6 Euros for adults will take you on a lovely hop-on hop-off tour of Vilamoura. 

For the prices we paid we would definitely stay again and can highly recommend Eden Village for couples, families and golfers, very impressed!

A wonderful small complex you should consider when staying in Vilamoura

We did a 4 night stay here
Pros:
Large, well equipped apartment
The receptionist was polite and helpful
Our one bed apartment had 2 bathrooms
Cons:
There is considerable building work on a neibouring building. It is loud every day except Sunday. 
It is quite remote, 10 minutes to supermarket and local bars. 30 minutes walk to marina.
There is nowhere on site to buy water.
No maid service if there for less than a week,so emptied our own bins daily
Bedding only changed if there for 10 days or more!
Check in is at 17.00, check out 11.00 or charged another day.
You have to pay a 300€ deposit which Easyjet never warned us of
As the apartments are all privately owned, there is a variation on the standard of decoration  and furnishings. I was concerned that having paid the deposit, there were quite a few things that were tired in our apartment. Heat stain on dining table, cracks on fridge freezer handles, towel rail kept falling off wall, tap operation for the shower didn't work properly , both air con units didn't work at all. We reported the air con as we left as we only needed it on our last evening.

Overall, fine for what we needed for our four night stay as we were meeting with family for 2 of those days

Good for short stay but a few negatives

Located in the heart of Vilamoura next to the golf courses, Eden Village Apartments offers modern and simple apartments. With equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with TV and access to a balcony, bathroom with bathtub. They also have an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and bar support (in summer) as well as free parking. At the reception you can find several services, including bicycle or car rental in order to explore Vilamoura and the Algarve. Vilamoura Marina is about 1500 meters, Falésia beach is 2000 meters, and the closest golf course is only about 900 meters away.
