Pool

Food shocking worst I’ve seen and had in a Spanish hotel
i understand it’s in Spain with a high Spanish content 
but do some food for the other visitors the variety was appalling
Restaurant staff were miserable tables slow in getting cleared stood around most nights for 15-20 minutes waiting for a table maybe restaurant manager should help out instead of pointing the finger for everyone else to do the work.
Room was good beds comfy shower was excellent and maids were superb.
Reception staff were so slow took 45 minutes to get checked in maybe do one job at a time and when card went wrong it was never sorted properly had to go down 2-3 times lucky we was on first floor.
This is ok for getting your head down and if you drink all day at the hotel then the all inclusive is worth it but if you are going out and using this as a base I wouldn’t use this hotel as all inclusive not at all but I would use the hotel again as a BASE
Bad points: 
Checking in is so slow needs to be faster 
Reception staff training needed 
Restaurant staff manners and respect and a smile occasionally 
Locals smoking drugs around the pool every day nothing done regarding this 
Wi-fi is terrible 
Food is terrible needs a lot of improving same thing every day for breakfast no changes at all 
No food themed nights repetitive food and salads are the same every day 
Good points:
Rooms excellent 
Air conditioning brilliant 
Maids superb
Bar staff excellent 
Drinks very good quality 
And the fact they have Fredam a non alcoholic lager is brilliant for me as I don’t drink anymore 
Pool is good for a roof top pool and jacuzzi is good if they didn’t allow the kids to use it like the signs say NO CHILDREN 
3 star is max for this hotel but could be a 2 for food 
P.S 
Two days before we left the Spanish family from hell arrived ignoring staff kids in jacuzzi and were told over ten times while I sat there no kids allowed in jacuzzi and it was well signed posted and smoking and drinking in jacuzzi and yes this included kids 2 of them about 10 years old 
Whilst I know I’m in Spain this hotel is over run with Spanish I’ve not seen anything like it in nearly 40 years of going to Spain

Shocking

Not sure what others are moaning about. Went here with our two sons. Hotel was immaculate. Beds really comfy. Good was amazing. Every night was something different. We ate in the restaurant at the very bottom (Grande) which was smaller and much quieter. Every night was something different as well as stuff for the fussier English people who love burgers and chips every night. My son isn't the biggest eater and he tried lots of new foods each evening, they did a fish night, Italian night etc so unsure why people say they didn't. We literally couldn't fault the food. Breakie was vast and really really nice. Reception was a long wait, which was annoying, but nothing major. We found the whole place to be node and tidy. People moaning about noise, you'll get noise from people coming in late whereever you go, this isn't the hotels fault. We had trouble booking our tickets for the aqua park on the app, the receptionist did it all for us and made it very easy. The games room was really lovely too, our boys enjoyed that. They had evening entertainment, so unsure where everyone else was looking. It's down in the Magic cafe bar. One evening they even had a reptile show with snakes. The swimming pool is on the top floor, correct, but we found the roof was a godsend as it kept the sun off the kids. People moaning are the ones who want to sit by the pool and abandon their kids all day whilst they sunbathe, which this rooftop pool isn't for.  They even played games and had entertainment at the pool also. Overall we had a great time. Hotel in a perfect location, lots around and easy to get to the shops and beach. Really lovely time had here. Thank you.

Lovely, clean, comfy beds. Food was amazing.

Had a great stay at this hotel ... it's in the old town and the beach is a short enough walk away. Did all inclusive and there was lots of choice each day (did eat out a few days to have a varied experience) The room was clean and had a large balcony - bed's comfy. It's a very busy hotel so can be hard to get a seat in the bar but we went out most nights. Pool area was fine - it's on the roof and the pool bit is covered. Overall - a great time and would book again.

Good experience

Writing an honest review about my recent stay at this Hotel, The Hotel is very very dated, but I must add it was very clean..

I’ll start with the negatives:
Dated hotel..
Shower are like a small bag h tub and curtain and really not fit for purpose..
Lifts are absolutely useless, you can wait for over 10 minutes every time you need to use one..
No proper outside pool with seating around it..

Positives..
Rooms immaculately clean ..
Food amazing, really lots of choice and snacks in between meals,seafood night was brilliant..
Service at the downstairs bar very slow..
Great value for money..
Good location..

A footnote to this is I couldn’t believe how rude the Spanish people were, push to the front of a queue , push into already full lifts , and just generally a and in your way with no manners at all..
This was the patrons not the Hotel staff..

Would I stay again? Absolutely yes for that price ..

Old,dated but clean!!

We enjoyed our 2 week stay here although a dated hotel it was spotlessly clean the maid came everyday and our room was fine bed comfortable good air-con powerful shower 
The lifts are a little hit and miss especially at busy times 
The food overall was lovely with plenty of choice 
The all inclusive drinks were fantastic 
The pool on the 7th floor was OK with plenty of sun beds 
In a good location in old town we would recommend

A lovely stay
