With its chic good looks and exceptional amenities, the Fuengirola Park Hotel is one of the Costa del Sol's finest four stars. It's located in the popular resort of Fuengirola, right in the bustling heart of the Costa del Sol.
There are plenty of reasons why holidaymakers to the Costa del Sol choose the Fuengirola Park Hotel. Yes, it benefits from an enviable location, and yes, it's got those four stars proving what a good hotel this is, but there's more to it than that. There's a lovely atmosphere about the place. And no hotel, no matter how many stars it has, can fake that.
The Fuengirola Park Hotel always manages to stay right up-to-date. It was renovated again in 2010 and always looks its very best. It's a classically good-looking hotel, with its wood panelled floors and smart decor.
The rooms are spacious, air conditioned and inviting. And because they all come with a balcony or terrace, you can really enjoy those wonderful views whenever you want. There are a lot of rooms – and a lot of amenities, but nothing feels cramped. So all guests' rooms are comfortable and come with en suite facilities, satellite TV, phone and hair dryer.
One feature that makes for a great holiday experience is a spa. The Fuengirola Park Hotel spa is quite magnificent. Another advantage of the Fuengirola Park Hotel is of course the beach. And you can get to it via a useful under-path. It's only 200 metres away, so you can come and go as often as you like. It's quite a place too – another of the Costa del Sol's complement of wonderfully clean, sandy beaches.
You can enjoy some great water sports activities on the beach, or if you prefer, make use of the hotel's exceptional pools – one indoor, one out. Both incredibly inviting pools are generously sized, so you can splash about to your heart's content. There is also, as you'd expect of a hotel of this quality, an excellent poolside bar. And when you've had a dip or a relaxing drink, why not head in for a bite to eat at the comfortable surroundings of the hotel restaurant? You've earned it!
With lots of excellent facilities, including coffee shop, tennis courts and useful extras like laundry service public Wi-Fi, the Fuengirola Park Hotel really does make it easy for guests to enjoy every moment of their stay.
This fabulous 4 star hotel is located in the popular resort of Fuengirola, in the heart of the Costa del Sol. Recently renovated in 2010, it offers a lively atmosphere and an impressive array of amenities including a magnificent SPA to make sure all its guests feel at home. Las Gaviotas Beach is just 200 metres away and accessed via an under path.
This is our second time staying here, but unfortunately, compared with our previous visit, we were quite disappointed with some aspects of our stay.
From what I remember maybe I am wrong but there used to be a much wider selection of cocktails included in the all-inclusive package. This time, only a few cocktails were included, while even fairly basic options such as Tequila Sunrise, Aperol Spritz, Margarita and Cosmopolitan came at an additional cost. For an all-inclusive package, this really doesn’t make much sense.
Towards the end of our stay, we were even served Pina Coladas without rum, and overall, we only had a few cocktails during the entire week because of the limited choice and the extra charges.
Another area that could definitely be improved is the customer service at the bars. Some of the ladies and gentlemen working behind the bar did not appear particularly happy to serve customers and, on a few occasions, came across as quite rude or grumpy. Guests are paying a significant amount of money to stay here, so a friendly and welcoming attitude should really be part of the experience. Perhaps some refresher customer service training would be beneficial.
That said, I would like to give special recognition to one member of staff — a shorter gentleman with longer blonde hair. He always appeared to be working extremely hard and had a fantastic attitude towards customers. He was friendly, welcoming and always smiling — exactly how customer service should be. He definitely deserves recognition for his excellent work ethic and positive attitude.
Unfortunately, the rooms are also quite dated and could really benefit from some updating. There was no liquid hand soap provided, just two very small bars of soap, and the shower gel was extremely watery and felt as though it had been heavily diluted. We ended up having to purchase several basic essentials ourselves during the stay.
The mini fridge in our room was also not working properly. The “double bed” was actually two single beds pushed together, and there was constantly a gap between them, which was uncomfortable. The bedding material provided was also very unpleasant — it felt rough and almost plastic-like rather than soft and comfortable.
Overall, we enjoyed aspects of our stay, but compared with our first visit, we felt that the hotel has declined in certain areas. There is definitely room for improvement, particularly when it comes to the all-inclusive offering, room quality and customer service.
It’s disappointing to see that the quality and what’s included in the all-inclusive package seem to have gone downhill. Three stars max we wont come back
Review:Our recent stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. I would highly recommend it and we would definitely stay here again!Food & Dining:The food was excellent throughout our stay. Both breakfast and dinner offered a great variety of delicious options with plenty of choices to suit everyone’s tastes.Rooms & Cleanliness:Our room was incredibly clean, bright, and spacious. The cleaning staff were very friendly and did a fantastic job cleaning the room every single day. Just a quick tip for future guests: there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room. We had read this in previous reviews before coming, so we brought our own kettle and supplies, which worked out perfectly.Staff & Service:Every single member of the staff was so friendly and helpful. From the warm welcome at reception to the attentive service in the restaurant, they really made us feel at home.Amenities:The pool area is fabulous and we loved spending time there. A huge bonus was that there were always plenty of sun loungers available. Having an on-site hairdresser and a convenient little shop right inside the hotel was also incredibly handy.Location:The location is just perfect. It is only a very short walk to the train station, the beach, and the local shops.Thank you to everyone at the hotel for a brilliant holiday! ☺️

Hotel was clean but the rooms were dated. When we checked in it was not explained to us that we needed our card to access the restaurant, so we had to go back up to our rooms which were over the other side of the hotel. Some staff were not friendly at all. Our reps were not helpful and when we enquired about an excursion, they did not respond to us. We asked the hotel staff where we would be picked up from and they couldn't tell us the exact bus stop, luckily we picked the right one but that could have gone badly.
The facilities are generally very good, the pool is kept nice, the grounds are well maintained and the entertainment was good. The shop is very convenient and the man that runs it is very welcoming. The variety of food at the restaurant was good. The hotel was very central and only a 2 minute walk away from the train station and shops.
