Pool

Staff are excellent in all areas, helpful and friendly. 
Hotel is very tired inside, lacks any atmosphere in restaurant and bar areas, background music played quietly would enhance this.
Food in restaurant is very repetitive, having said that you could find something to eat most days. I must say the breakfast choice is by far the best meal of the day, lots of choices both hot and cold. Evening meals lack choice, same veg, same potatoes most nights.Two other SBH hotels on the island offer themed night but this one doesnt, having said you can book to travel to others for the themed evening, but would have been nice for this hotel to do something on a similar nature. If you dont have your own transport this would be a costly night out for transport costs.
Pool area offers lots of different areas for you to sit in peace and quiet or have the main pool madness with families so thats good. Always lots of sunbeds available most of the day, but be aware some are broken and wont allow to prop up. Lovely view into the ocean.
My main concern is the bar areas only seem to have 1 person serving most of the time so in an evening queues can be long, so order 2 to save queuing again.You can serve yourself soft drinks and beer from pumps.
Bedrooms are quite spacious and cleaned daily and replenished, but again need some loving care, very dated.
it was my husbands birthday whilst we were there and a bottle of wine and 2 glasses were left for us which was a lovely gesture and also the offer of decorating a table in the diningroom for us.
Overall value for money was ok but definitely 3 star and not 4 star as advertised.
It seems to be the "poor relation" compared to the other 2 hotels in the chain on the island, nothing that a paint job and ambience could easily put it back to where it needs to be.

Would we visit again? doubtful as it lacked love!

Needs some love and attention

The reviews on this hotel do not do it justice, me and my boyfriend stayed late January and thought it was the best holiday we’ve had, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the entertainment was perfect with things to do all day and on the evening with a kids show and contests on the night. Drinks and food were standard all inclusive, not bad at all though for the price we paid. With it being a 30 second walk to the beach and so lively I would definitely recommend.

Dream Getaway

I don’t normally leave reviews and have never left a review about a holiday I have been on before,  however I want to warm anyone before going to this hotel and book somewhere else and avoid it at all costs.
This holiday was completely ruined by groups of young adults without children drinking excessively around the children’s pool all day shouting and swearing and being generally unruly with no regards for anyone else there. Unfortunately these were mainly English and Scottish but their behaviour was not something that could ever be accepted at a hotel with young children around. They were taking drugs and this was confirmed by other guests staying there. Even the hotel staff were aware of this regardless of what they may say in response to my review. This was not supposed to be a club 18 to 30 holiday.
People were arrested and allowed back into the hotel.  At no point did any staff member at the hotel approach the group and tell them mind their language. This would have been the minimum i would have expected. When I complained to the hotel they  basically said they couldn’t do anything about it. In summary this ruined most of our holiday. I have written to the hotel director and Rosana has not replied to any of the emails I sent her. I have called and left my number but she won’t speak to me. I don’t feel she is in the correct occupation as it should all be about customer service which there is none. They say they cannot provide any compensation or refund and that’s that.
They state they are not responsible for other guests behaviour and if your holiday is ruined it’s nothing to do with them. This is just crazy and is a good example as to why the hotel is so bad.
This is not me just being spiteful because of what happened  but the hotel is very very run down. There is a very poor selection of food which seemed to have less selection as the holiday went on. I don’t eat puddings but it went from about 5 choices at the start down to about 2 at the end. The entertainment was bad with the same person doing exactly the same act within the same week we were there.
The public toilet for guests were broken for days and was was full of poo and wee and loo roll which shows that it couldn’t have even been cleaned as someone would have at least put out of order sign on the door if they had seen it. Many of the toilets had broken door locks.
One of the lifts broke and was just left and not fixed. In general the hotel has seen its best days and would need a full refurbishment to meet a 3 or 4 star.

I did warn the hotel that unless they offered some form of compensation then I would write this review which clearly they don’t care whether I do or not.
Don’t be fooled by what the hotel may say in response to my review. This is 100% the truth.
I have nothing to gain by saying this. I did expect the hotel to offer some form of compensation regarding the other guests. How they think that they have no responsibility for the  quality of my holiday when I am staying in their hotel and they are allowing other guests to act this way is ridiculous.
I complained to love holidays as well but they state it was down to the hotel to refund me. You end up just going round and round in circles.
Just to say I only spoke to the hotel about the guests behaviour and not the poor quality of the hotel. I didn’t want be too picky but as I am writing this review I may as well be honest about everything.
My hope is that anyone choosing to stay there will read this review and choose to stay somewhere different.
AVOID AVOID AVOID

DO NOT STAY HERE. BAD MANAGEMENT VERY RUN DOWN HOTEL. NOT A FAMILY HOTEL.

The hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff work hard to keep it immaculate.
Fausi and Laura at the bar were lovely, as were the entertainment staff.

The hotel itself is huge but not very well signposted and not much to do. At night it was boring for me as the entertainment was poor, although the staff did try their best.

The pool and sun beds and view were stunning. The beach it’s so beautiful but it was very windy and the sand hurts, there are Little Rock circles on the beach that act like wind breakers.

There was a big selection of food, some days it was very nice and some not so. There is a huge selection of dessert and the ice cream is yummy! The restaurant view outside was spectacular.

It’s a secluded hotel so you have to get transport to the shops.

I think there could be more of offer here as there is plenty of empty space.

I’d say if you are coming with children, go somewhere else or they will be bored but it’s lovey for peace!

Peaceful place

everything was perfect, and there was a big gym room with a beautiful view to do your training but there was not enough equipment and it needed to be fixed, and all staff was friendly except one of the waiters but apart from that all was good and i appreciate it
