Pool

Just returned from caybeach  Superior room.
Holiday overall very good food quality is fairly good with the exception that it is not very warm , the staff are very friendly and pleasant especially in The restaurant the only exception to this was the manager who obviously doesn’t want to deal with customers who have a complaint.
The was a lack of room servicing ie after 4 days the room hadn’t been touched . The towels were changed a bin’s emptied after complaining the receptionist informed me that the cleaning staff were very busy this is not the customers problem.

Lack of cleaning

Really impressed with the Caybeach. Lovely clean spacious apartments with a lovely spacious terrace. 
Really comfy beds and cleaned every day. 
We went on Bed and Breakfast basis and found the breakfast to be good a choice of eggs and bacon and cooked breakfast, yoghurts, fruit, pancakes and pastries and cava. 
There are 3 large pools which are clean and you can always get a sunbed no need to reserve. 
There is a laundry, mini supermarket, gym, wellness centre, mini golf. 
The bar was great the staff efficient and friendly and the food was really hot and good and freshly cooked.
The apartments are in a quiet location a 15 minute walk to Maspalomas with lots of restaurants to choose from. 

I have rated 5 stars as it is amazing value. My mum and me have had a great week with one more day still to go … thankyou Caybeach and of course Cassidini the resident cat 🐈

Great Apartments !

Very pleasant stay at Caybeach. One of the better places we have stayed. Our Superior apartment was good with a Balcony that overlooked some nice private homes.  We had a slight ocean view which was fine. At least it was quiet, unlike Turkey!
Very impressed that we didn't have to pay extra for air con, or use of the well equipped gym. 
The pools were good, plenty of sunbeds available. 
Denise and Abraham on the pool bar provided great, friendly service.  The food was great, very good value.
It's a lovely 15 min walk along the sea front to the Restaurants in the evening. I recommend A1 and the Cantonese restaurant.
The free Prosecco in our room was a nice touch.
Improvement suggestions:
The fridge in our room didn't get very cold, hence we threw 2 cartons of milk away.  
Air con in the gym is a must!  Can't understand why it doesn't have it.
The tiled slope from the top pool to the bottom pool is dangerous.  Maybe install a hand rail or grips on the tiles, I had to hold onto my husband every time we walked down it.
Maybe the life guard could spend more time watching the pools than on his phone.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay, will definitely look at Caybeach resorts in future.

Pleasant stay, would recommend.

The resort is quiet, reception staff can appear rude (we asked for a late check out but was quite abruptly told “no it’s high season all rooms are full and cleaners only work mornings” which isn’t strictly true as we’ve had cleaners at 4pm but whatever!). No problem not having a late check out but please don’t talk to your customers so rudely. 
Some of the apartments are quite a distance from the main pool/poolbar/restaurant area. It's quite a walk if you have any mobility issues, there are ramps to the further away properties and steps.
The bungalows are well equipped, and air con works well. TV had only one English Channel (BBC worldwide or something) - we don’t watch tv but have used it in the past for the radio stations but this wasn’t an option in the bungalow we had this time only foreign tv channels. Using the tablet for radio isn’t brilliant as the free wifi drops every couple of minutes - it really isn’t great wifi unless you’re in reception area. There isn't a great deal around the resort, but a short walk away towards the lighthouse there are coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets and a small shopping centre. The apartment was clean and a bottle of water on arrival was hugely appreciated due to arriving after 10pm (although some receive Prosecco). There is a small shop on site, which has a reasonable selection of drinks, ice creams, meats, fruit, some salad, coffee, tinned goods etc. 
The pool bar - staff are amazing, friendly and super helpful. Big love to Denise and Abraham!!! mulțumesc and gracias!!!!! The menu at the pool bar is good as is the food. Sadly this time there was no evening entertainment at all in two weeks we were here. 
This is our second visit here but this time will be our last - not least of all because of the rude reception guy but also the “buzz” was far better last time when the Italian guy (Andrea??) was the animation guy - he really got people joining in on bingo, water polo and of course “don’t be lazy don’t be shy - aquagym” but the girl who is doing it now is useless. She doesn’t talk to people telling them what’s on. I heard her say to someone that “people are on holiday and don’t want to do things” - not true, she just needs to get some energy about her and engage the customers.

This was a good experience in a nice apartment hotel. Room had big space and everything needed for making food. Pool areas were clean and much space. Three different pools to choose from. The restaurant serves good breakfast and a nice varieded dinner to a decent price. All and all we would gladely come back and stay here again.

Wonderful stay

Caybech Meloneras is located in Meloneras, one of the most popular tourist areas of Gran Canaria: a privileged area known around the world for its exceptional climate.
