When to go

Gran Canaria enjoys great sunshine all year round, and rarely receives severe rainfall. It is, therefore, a good holiday destination throughout the year. If you want to visit Gran Canaria in the hottest months, then you’d want to go August to October when the temperature averages 26°C. However, May to November is very nearly as warm at 24°C.

From December to April, although nights are cooler, temperature highs during the day reach 22°C, not so bad for a break away if you’re used to a much colder winter here in the UK!
