Pool

Our accommodation was a good size, it was cleaned once whilst we were there, which wasn't a problem to us.
Wi-fi was awful. We were in the apartments over the road from the main one. The pool was not very big at all, almost pond size. The people on reception were not the friendliest at all. 
It was very much do it yourself, and they would watch you struggle.
The bar and restaurant was very poor, only one person to serve drinks and cook  you would have thought the receptionist would if given them a hand.

Went for 8 nights and cannot fault the place. Apartments are spacious with large bathroom. Big shower and hot water. The place is very clean. It is very relaxing as quiet when we went and beaches are only 20 minute walk away if that. Went on lovely costal walks each morning then back to pool afternoon as normally when the sun comes out. Staff there were all friendly and a lifeguard who was happy to help everyone. We had fabulous views of sun rising each morning. Weather was a mixture but generally warm. I would go back to stay here, probably not recommended for families with children as not much for them to do as very quiet but this is what I liked. Pool table in bar part and you can order food as well. We had a great time.

A fabulous 8 days

Was very pleasantly surprised with the standard of this place after reading some of the reviews we had a room at the second block across from reception 
The room was very large the kitchen had everything we needed and all clean and working well 
Nice comfy beds and a nice modern bathroom with white fluffy towels 
Plenty of sun beds round pool yes the pool isn’t Olympic size but more than enough for a dip 
Nice clean toilets and showers next to pool 
It was a nice 15 min walk to shop which had most things you need we liked to walk to the square at night which was about 30 mins steady walk paths are all good and well lit took longer back but probably because we weren’t walking in a straight line 👍🥂🤷‍♀️
The staff at the complex were all polite and were always busy cleaning and tidying communal areas 
15 mins to airport is a great bonus too 
For the price we paid it was excellent value can’t wait to return

Lovely jubbly

Staff were really helpful, the whole site is spotlessly clean.  The pool man is fantastic, he helps the laundry people, the cleaners, he keeps the pool area spotless, he chats to the guests.  The pool bar offers food, drinks, everything you need all day and up till the sun goes down. The inside restaurant is very good, great food and bar.  There are 2 pools, not giant pools, but more than big enough for the children to play and adults to relax, this is where the pool guard sits.  There is another relaxing poool on the 1st floor area.  

The rooms are huge, I mean huge, they are spotless, there is no noise, we had a good sleep at night, we had a balcony out the back and there is a long terrace area out the front of the appartment that leads up to the 1st floor pool where you can move your sunbed to.  There are lots of places to sit in the front of the hotel, 2 outside but under cover tables and a family room inside.  The restaurants and bars and supermarket are less than 10 minures walk down towards the beach,  So many to choose from.  It is a little uphill for the way back, a taxi was 3 euros from the main town and bus stops to the other towns such as Matagorta and Puerto Del Carman.  20 mins to Puerto Del Carman, a fantastic place for shopping, bars restaurants and beaches.  We will definatley stay again.

Excellent hotel

Had a great stay here but can only give 3/5 due to my lack of sleep.

Yes it's a little far from town but that's ideal for me as I like to do a fair bit of walking every day when away.

I was in room 1244 which is in the newer block separate to reception. The room was fab, really large lounge/kitchen area with a bedroom and en suite bathroom too. There's also a great balcony which isn't overlooked by anyone and is a suntrap from midday until about 6pm. The balcony is pretty high too so provides shelter from the wind.

Staff at the hotel were very friendly.

My only issue were the rattling window frames, these kept me awake for most of the night, I spoke to people in other rooms and they had the same issue although they had earplugs so were more prepared than me.
If the window frames were fixed, it's a definite 5/5 from me

TV had BBC1, ITV1, C4 and C5 available along with a large choice of local channels.

Great hotel but poor sleep
