Sandos Atlantic is a warm and friendly hotel.  The staff are very welcoming and happy to greet you.  The food is plentiful and well cooked , not the choice that there maybe in bigger hotels but it’s always freshly cooked. The accommodation is in white chalets which are immaculately clean though a bit tired in places .  They have a nice veranda area and enclosed yard ideal for drying clothes.  The night time entertainment over the two weeks was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable.  In such a small hotel it was easy to chat to other guests and make friendships! A guy from the animation team put on a walk up Red Mountain which is behind the hotel at no extra cost and was very informative and knowledgeable about the history of the Island . Hotel quiet and peaceful just as we like it ! So if you want music by the pool, noisy outdoor activities - this is not the hotel for you! 
We loved our two weeks and will definitely go back .

Great little gem

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at the Sandos Atlantic Gardens resort. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a friendly and pleasant manner by the whole staff team. This continued throughout our stay, working to make our stay enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble.

Our accommodation was just right, air condition in the lounge which was adequate for the rest of the bungalow, a settee bed for our son and another bedroom with a double bed. Lots of wardrobe space and 2 bedside tables with drawers which were adequate for our stay. It was very clean and freshened daily.  The bungalows could do with an upgrade however they are really comfortable and adequate for your stay. The hotel has 2 swimming pools and a jacuzzi pool however I will add that these are cold water pools! Once you braved the initial shock of getting in, they were delightfully refreshing. All the amenities were close by, the snack bar, restaurant, toilet block and the shady lounge area. 
  
The food was lovely and plentiful, and I wish to thank the chef and Maître D’ as, due to our son’s dietary requirement, asked him each mealtime what he wanted to eat for the next meal. I can’t fault them on this, I had messaged them before our arrival and explained he is Coeliac, and they were extremely accommodating. Our thanks go to Inaka for making sure this was adhered to. I also wish to mention Victor for his endless enthusiasm and helpfulness, such a hard-working guy who never stopped from morning to night and always with a smile, and Xinjie & Hugo their friendly hello each morning and very helpful. The hotel is situated in a great location, a 5/10-minute walk to Flamingo beach which a couple of supermarkets, cafes and tavern bars. Walking further on from here is Playa Blanca, around half an hour which is another fabulous place to visit, which lots more cafes, gift shops, shopping boutiques and the harbour to sit and gaze out to while drinking a cocktail or 2!

Lanzarote is a windy island so be prepared to feel chilly in the evenings once the sun goes down, take a jumper or something as on occasions I did feel cold!

The whole resort is adult only and we were a little worried it might be a Saga holiday! however it had a lovely mix of older people as well as young couples. It is a very friendly place with a relaxing and calm atmosphere. You can do as much or as little as you want while relaxing with a cocktail or two!

A great resort and ideal location

We’ve just enjoyed a really super holiday of just over a week. Our bungalow, just a few metres from the sea, had a view which simply could not be beaten. 
Despite other comments regarding the age profile of guests, we found it a pretty good mix with quite a large number of young guests. 
The whole resort is kept clean, tidy and in good condition. It is a really pleasant stroll along the promenade from the nearby town. 
Only negatives (and they are minor ones) are the need to look at ending the pool area a little so extra sun loungers can be brought in. And maybe sometimes dinner could be a little more exciting. 
But they are very minor criticisms as the resort is so nice a place to stay. But saving the best to last - the staff are the real stars of the show. All are keen to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and they are also friendly and cheerful. Finally, a word of praise for the hotel cats who also go out of their way to show their friendship (especially to guests who have a few feline treats to share!).

Super place and super team

Another  fantastic  visit to Atlantic  Gardens  ( our 3rd visit in the space of 8 months ) Emailed the hotel few months before  arrival  asking  if any  chance  of getting  Bungalow  in the same area as had done on previous  visit  both times my request  was granted  
Haven't  a negative  thing to say about  the complex. I was going  to name  the best members  of the staff  but Can't  cause they all are
The whole complex was cleaned  & maintained to a very  high  Standard  Food & Drinks were  excellent as always 
Very Big Thanks  to Management  & Staff, we will be back 

Another  Fantastic  Stay 

First time to Lanzarote and couldn't be more happy with sandos atlantic gardens. Beautiful place. Our room was within a stones throw from the pools and main restaurant, bars and toilets. Plenty of loungers for everyone despite people being out early putting towels out. Pool areas were immaculately clean. 
Maids cleaned room daily, tea making facilities in room, but tbh you only have to walk to the snack areas to make yourself one or a fresh coffee, Cappuccino etc or soft drinks and beer on tap for you to help yourself to. Cocktail list was minimal but okay. Rooms are spacious, lovely patio areas and space at rear to hang wet clothes. 
The food was plentiful, lots of different meats and fish to choose from, with an array of veg, salads, pizza, fries, breads etc. Little bit samey some nights but having such a choice for breakfast (full english if you want!), lunch and dinner you shouldn't really go hungry. Waiters attentive at meals times, offering wines etc and prosecco and quick to clear plates and keeping areas clean.
Special mention to Victor who always has a smile and works so hard and nothing is too much trouble for him, and Diego too! 
Everyone was really friendly, got talking to some lovely people we met, and would definitely recommend. Definitely for the older clientele though, and great for anyone with mobility issues. The only downside was the lack of variety in nightly entertainment, was all singers / djs but got people up dancing. Pool area could do with some music through the day, but that's just my personal preference.
One thing I did like was the book swap in the bar area! Great idea.
Would definitely consider returning.
