Pool

For a 4* hotel this should have been a lot better.
On arrival the receptionist seamed quite put out that she had to check us in, no explanation where anything was and made us write all our info down on scraps of paper!
My shower was blocked - whole floor flooded they didn't seam bothered, gave me a few towels to mop up myself!!
Told me to use the shower downstairs for my daughter who is in a wheelchair where there was no privacy.  It was the spa shower so no door, anyone could have walked in and I wouldn't have got her into it anyway!
Reluctant to give me more towels in the room when your only provided with a hand towel and a little bit bigger towel that doesn't actually cover your body.
Bedroom bedside lights do not work independently - what the heck!?!?
If you are wanting to use the pool and need the hoist, be careful because on the days they play pool volleyball they tie the net to a tree and the pool hoist!  The pool is so small anyway you won't have anywhere to go so you have no option but to get out.
Food was good but if you want the pick of it all you have to get in there first, as once its gone, its gone.  Bread and the puddings go quickest at dinner, Juice in the mornings, only 2 machines for juice and coffee.
The whole place seams quite outdated despite just being refurbished!
Refills in the room are quite limited, if you want more you have to ask for example the provide small bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner but didn't put any more out once used up. 


Wheelchair holiday not great - poor for a 4*

We drove here from our home in SW Mallorca to spend a couple of days at Hotel Cap De Mar. It was myself, my auntie and my three year old son. Found parking on the street right outside the hotel which was a bonus. Check in went smoothly and we were shown to our 2 bedrooms apartment which was situated on the 6th floor of the apartment block over the road from the main hotel. We had an unobstructed sea view which was stunning. The apartment was very clean with the usual toiletries, dressing gown, slippers etc. The air con was a little weak but that didn’t matter as we only used the apartment for sleeping in. A lovely bowl of fruit was waiting for us on arrival, plus cold bottles water and a bottle of cava in the fridge. 
The pool area was lovely and clean. Plenty of sun beds and a lifeguard was on duty at all times. Small splash pool alongside the main pool was perfect for my little boy. Poolside snacks were available for a very reasonable price. We each had a sandwich and my son had a bowl of chips to snack on mid afternoon. Breakfast was lovely too! Lots of choice. DIY freshly squeezed orange juice, cooked and cold meats and sausages. Cereals, many types of breads, pastries and biscuits. Cheese, hams, dried and fresh fruits. Yoghurts and oats. And a lovely selection of fruit teas. Coffee was from a vending machine which isn’t my thing but that wasn’t a problem as I got one in a cafe a bit later. Thoroughly enjoyed our short visit and will definitely be bringing the family over again - for longer next time.

1 night break in Cala Bona

Stayed here for four nights in early September and overall a lovely hotel that I would return to and would recommend to others.

One of our party of four is in a wheelchair and it’s a really accessible hotel. Two small points - it would be good to have toilets on the ground floor rather than having to go up and down in the lift to the basement and the slope to the promenade was very steep for going down in a wheelchair / mobility scooter. Although we didn’t use it, the hoist into the pool looked very easy and accessible. There’s also a disabled friendly beach right across from the hotel.

Rooms are a good size and a lovely touch with a free bottle of water, bottle of Cava and fresh fruit platter as a welcome gift.

The view from the balcony in the sea view rooms is stunning - would definitely recommend choosing a room with a sea view. Showers and WiFi all very good.

Pool lovely although could have done with being a little bit warmer.

Nice bar overlooking the sea and the promenade, good for people watching.

My only real downside of this hotel is the restaurant - firstly, it’s in a room in the basement with no windows so is quite depressing. Secondly, the food isn’t that great - a lot of the hot buffet food isn’t very  warm (cold baked beans!). Luckily we only came B&B as there’s a good choice of restaurants in Cala Bona and I’d feel pretty fed up if I had to sit in a room with no windows to eat my evening meal every night.

Cala Bona is a nice place - the best area is around the port. We had a wander through to Cala Millor along the promenade but I wouldn’t be in a rush to return there.



Great hotel

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel because we we're so impressed on the first occasion and we weren't disappointed this time either. It's location is fantastic, the rooms are basic but clean, comfortable and well maintained. The restaurant and they food is great. The facilities are fabulous and the staff are soo friendly with a special mention to Rosa in reception but thanks all the staff including, waiter's, cleaners and management. We shall be seeing you again in 2022 and are already looking forward to our next stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Lovely Hotel

I paied 120 € for my little dog (6 kg malteze) but pets are not allowed on the terasse,  swimming pool area or on the beach. Only allowed in the room. I'm ok with that ,as long as it is specified on the description , but it was not.
 I would have chosen another location. 
 Rooms ok, personnel very friendly, cleanliness ok.

Not very pet friendly

This fantastic hotel boasts a privileged location situated on the promenade of Cala Bona, just beside the beach and at only a few minutes from the harbour. For shopping, guests might go to the town of Cala Millor which is situated at less than 2 km distance. The airport is about 70 km away. The resort offers elegantly furnished and designed to provide a quite atmosphere. All rooms feature a private balcony and some have a stunning sea view. Guests can enjoy a delicious buffet with show cooking in the on-site restaurant and spend the day on the upper terrace which offers incredible views as well as a solarium and a Jacuzzi. The spa centre is the best place where visitors can relax and indulge themselves with fantastic treatments for health and beauty.
