we stayed  all inclusive on the privilege package, i would recommend this is the sun deck and lounge  are great. This includes breakfast and dinner in the restaurant El Mirador, this was a great experience and the staff who worked there helped to make our holiday special. 
The rooms were acceptable and the privilege extras were good, 
The hotel outside and public areas were very clean and the staff work very hard to keep it this way 
The pool areas were good and the heated pool was a good bonus, there are a number of jacuzzis around which are a really good touch and we really enjoyed using these.

The room cleaning was a bit hit and miss.
The area outside is very busy with scooters and double mobility scooters so it’s difficult to just go a for a walk.

The main negative which made our last day difficult was the complete lack of communication by reception staff between each other and guests. 
We wanted to keep our room as we had a later flight and one of our party is disabled. (we did know this was a discretionary service and not a guarantee) I asked 4 times over a few days before the end of the holiday to facilitate this to be told a number of different stories - straight no as the hotel is full, ask on the day before and yes very probably , on the day before we asked again ( as advised by reception staff ) and was told nobody in the whole hotel  could have a late room that day which was obviously  a lie as. we were then told by other groups on the sun deck that they had asked to keep their room after us and all of them had kept their rooms until 2pm. I found this really disappointing as the hotel staff either, don’t communicate with each other- unlike their guests - or lie to their guests about room availability. We did use a courtesy room which was too far for our disable person to walk to, unlike our original room.
This doesn’t take away from the rest of holiday being great and we would come again,

great holiday

This was a last minute booking so I didn’t really do enough research before coming here. 
We chose this hotel based on the photos and reviews we’d read, and the fact it faced west so we could get some nice sunsets (which we did). Unfortunately I didn’t look deeply enough into the quality of the area itself. 
There is direct access to the beach from the hotel, but we never went onto it so I can’t comment on that. 
In general, the area is quite scruffy with small souvenir shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars all around, but it’s all a bit “bucket-and-spade” for my liking. It’s also a very noisy area so don’t come here expecting a nice peaceful relaxing holiday. There are much nicer areas to the north and south of Playa de las Americas, which we would much rather have been in. We walked along the promenade towards Costa Adeje, and once you get past the port/marina (Port Colon I think it’s called) the surroundings change up several points in quality and class. It’s a bit like walking out of Southend-on-Sea and into Saint Tropez! 

So, to the hotel itself. It’s classed as a 4-star hotel, but I’d say it’s to the bottom end of 4-star rather than the top. They have an upgrade option called “Privilage” which we were not offered, being last-minute. But with this option I think the service and facilities offered are better. 
We stayed for 7 nights half-board. The buffet breakfast is ok but not brilliant. Fruit juices are from bottles not freshly squeezed. Many of the fruits are from tins rather than fresh, although there are some fresh fruits on offer. The coffee is just ok. Food offered is just about average, not outstanding, with fair bit of variety, but I’d have expected better from a good 4-star. 
Dinner was  better, with nightly variations and different national themes. Someone needs to tell them that shepherd’s pie isn’t called “English Cake” though!
One plus point is the price of alcoholic drinks. Although I resented paying €2.40 for a small bottle of water (and it wasn’t provided free in the room after the first night), the prices for cocktails and alcoholic drinks were very fair, and generally cheaper than outside the hotel. 

Housekeeping. After several nights we noticed the standard of room cleaning was dropping. Towards the end it was quite bad, and I mentioned it to our Tui rep, who said she would make sure it was sorted. But on returning back that evening it hadn’t been. The room and bathroom had not been properly cleaned, and our bed sheets had not been changed all week! For a 4-star hotel this is really not up to scratch. I wanted to complain to the management but my wife didn’t want me to bother as it was our last night, so I didn’t.

Staff. Most of the hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and polite. We only encountered two restaurant servers who seemed to ignore us completely. I can only assume they either didn’t speak English or were having a bad day.

Pool area & Sun Terrace. Lastly a word about the main pool area around the pool bar. For the first few days we endured loud rap music being played all day, with little respite. It was awful. I eventually made a complaint to my holiday rep and she reported it to the manager. It did reduce in volume and they started playing more chill-out music so maybe that was just a glitch. But it’s worth bearing in mind if, like me, you prefer peace and quiet when you’re trying to relax on holiday. All I really want to hear is the sound of the waves on the seashore. But that was not possible here. And at night sitting on our balcony was entertaining to say the least, with groups of drunken holiday makers shouting in the streets below through the night until the early hours.

Not terrible, but definitely would not return to this hotel or this specific area of Tenerife.

just back from a good week away with friends. This was our first trip to Tenerife and another H10 hotel ticked off. My overall impression is that the outside and surrounding areas do not do the inside of this fabulous hotel justice. The staff are friendly, the pool very clean and food on offer very good. We paid extra for a north side bungalow and i would highly recommend anyone thinking of going to his hotel to do likewise. they are very spacious, recently been upgraded and have own loungers assigned to the room.

as mentioned i have not been to Tenerife before and found the outside to be not as clean as other island like Lanzarote for example. Bins not emptied and rubbish along the walkways being some of the issues.

the only other down side is that we booked this hotel as it was adults only and we wanted a quiet week away, yet the hotel allow stag groups in and unfortunately this did take the gloss of our last few days, with a group of 18+ being very loud, while taking advantage of the All inc facility, and not really respecting the other guests!!!

Nice break away

This was our first time staying at a H10 hotel and it didn't disappoint. We arrived quite late and were knackered after a day of travelling and on arriving at the hotel we were greeted by the very friendly reception staff. Super friendly and informative and to our surprise we had been upgraded to a superior sea view/pool view room free of charge!! The room was clean and spacious and the cleaning staff done an amazing job of cleaning the room everyday. 
The food selection was brilliant - I'm a fussy eater and there was plenty to choose from even for me. We were all inclusive and a personal favourite for us was El Mirador restaurant for lunch - overlooks the sea and is just such a nice atmosphere and again the staff are amazing. 
Perfect location in our opinion - about 10/15 mins walk away from Veronicas but far enough away that you don't hear all the hustle and bustle during the night.
We don't have anything bad to say about this hotel and can't thank them enough for making our stay 10/10. We can wait to return so thank you very much H10 Gran Tinerfe!!

An amazing holiday!!

Previously stayed in 2022 and chose to go back with husband as loved the hotel and it ticks all of our boxes.
In a great location, easy walk to Los Cristianos  and the privilege service means you don’t need to frequent the buffet which personally we don’t like.
The hotel was busiest this year than previously in August 2022 but we did not struggle to find loungers on the privilege terrace. The staff are great and provided everything we needed, including a kettle in addition to the coffee machine so I could have my tea.
The rooms are tired but functional and they have everything you need. Including safe for no extra cost if on privilege. Love the chocolates and card as part of the down service. The drinks are all branded and good measures. 
The disappointment this year was the food in El Mirador, lunches in particular were not as good as the previous visit and a bit hit and miss. More than edible but just not as great as our previous visit. The Italian is a great addition and we love Mike’s coffee shop - recommend a Bariquito and blueberry muffin! We would return as like the privilege and location.
