Pool

Another really enjoyable stay at the Jacaranda. The hotel is well located for the beach and seafront bars/restaurants etc - approximately 10 mins walk. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is perfect for our needs. We had a lovely room with a sea view, the food was great and the weather was lovely. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Enjoyable stay

Staff. Very friendly and polite and will sort about any requests. 
Rooms. Ours was clean had walk In shower. A little dated but was ok. Sadly we had a view from  the balcony of a very large tree and a car park ( c/p not belonging to the hotel)  
Half board. The restaurant was very clean. Lots of food. it’s big and there’s a lot of walking  around until you find what you want. Food got a little samie by  the end of the week. But certainly plenty of it. We did have to queue a coupe for times for breakfast. The hotel didn’t seem full. So not sure how long u would have to wait  height  of season. 
If you’re a football fan the sport is connect to the piano bar. So they don’t have the sound up on the tvs. 
The situation with the towels on the sunbeds wasn’t good. As the life guard said some put towels on the bed as early as 5 am. But the signs In the lift clearly say no towels to left. Will add photo. We ended  up going to the pool later afternoon as it was our only chance of getting a decent sunbed. 
Sadly our last night when had to be up early (nothing to do with the hotel) there was a very loud party that went on until 6 am when the police arrived. So not sure if this is a regular occurrence. Sounded mostly Spanish. 
Over all this is a good  family hotel.

Family hotel

Beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean and maid service every day. Good size pools, a bit strict on inflatables and toys in the water though. Good central location, lots of restaurants and bars nearby, will mention that there are lots of hills and some very steep. Reasonable taxi prices and able to hire scooters to get about. The food is what you get in most hotels, always found something I liked. I must highlight the wok station this was phenomenal 👏🏻 
Entertainment for kids and adults every night and kids during the daytime. 
Overall we had a fantastic holiday here, the service was great.

Very average hotel and not worthy of 4 stars. 

Pros:-
Clean hotel, friendly kids animation team, good location, rooms were spacious, good selection of pools to choose from, mini disco was great for our little one.

Cons:- 
Adult animation team were pretty unbothered about interacting with anyone. The two ladies with glasses didn’t smile or look like they wanted to be there at all! They all  stood outside the dining hall most nights to greet but ignored everyone who went past. I think we went the whole holiday without getting a simple hello from any of them. 
Kids club wasn’t very entertaining for our excitable 5 year old. They kept them stuck in one room colouring so she was bored. No treasure hunts, games, shows to include them. At one point the lady who ran the kids club took it upon herself to bring all the kids out of the club to take back to the parents and sign them all out an hour early so I’m guessing she wanted an early finish!

Food was monotonous and not very good at all.
Our friends (who were staying at the hotel at the same time) had a leak in their ceiling to which they sent someone up to fix it on 3 separate occasions but refused to move them out of the room. 
The ceilings in the corridors of the rooms are all warped and falling apart.

We stayed here last year as the food was fairly decent, hotel was ok (albeit a bit dated) and the kids entertainment team were fantastic but without those key elements, for us, it made the hotel not worth staying at,so we won’t be back next year.

Very average hotel

I'm going to just get down to the point of most reviews and my own personal experience. This hotel isn't worthy of its four stars; it's a three at best. Here are the pros: nice-sized dated rooms with air conditioning and plenty of pools to choose from for kids and adults. But be prepared to get up early to start putting towels down, as the hotel says no reserving beds but still lets this happen. I've seen this as early as 5 a.m. Staff even tell you this and don't seem to do anything about it.

Now I'm going to explain your cons. Unless you get this ridiculously cheap, don't bother going all-inclusive. The food is okay if you're a rabbit or love your seafood because most of the food, I'd say easily 75 percent of it, is fish. They have three cooking stations offering all the same food. The last one is meant to be for kids, but grown adults will push your kids aside to get burgers, chips, or hot dogs, which is what I'd say mostly 90 percent of people were eating. We spoke to six different couples on holiday, and each said the same thing: the food is a disgrace. They're supposed to have themed nights, but the food barely changes. Italian night, you'd think pizza, garlic bread, or even lasagna, well, you thought wrong. Oriental/Asian night, you'd think noodles, fried rice, or curry dishes, no, you get fried rice with no sauce to put on it or curry to go with it. Come on, seriously, this is what passes for themed nights. Personally, I felt robbed of the money I paid for all-inclusive, as most of the 14 nights I was here, I had eaten out more than at the hotel. Even the kids couldn't eat the churros at breakfast because they were so hard you could have used them to wedge your room door open and thats, before I even get to the ridiculously long queues for food because the hotel doesn't have a traffic light system for different groups of people at different times to minimize congestion like the Labranda Suites next door to this hotel, it's a free-for-all at mealtimes—kids and Adults who acted like children at mealtimes and before anyone says, "Aww, just another review of being picky," I paid £4.5k for this holiday for a family of four for 14 nights and wished I'd listened to the reviews on day three of my holiday, as they're pretty reflective of the hotel. It might have been good in its heyday, but it's far from it now. It seems like a cash grab, so be warned. I wish I'd listened to the reviews and gone self-catering, saving myself a fortune.

Worst all Inclusive hotel ever go self catering and thank me later.
