Pool

This was our first visit and my wife and I chose this hotel to celebrate our diamond wedding. In all the years we have been holidaying in Tenerife this hotel always seemed special to us and we promised ourselves that one day we would stay there. So we did.
We know now that we cannot write a better review than all of the 5 star reviews that have gone before us. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Congratulations to the management and staff , whatever team building program you have perfected it is a credit to you all. You were magnificent. We don't usually mention staff names but the 3 ladies who served us each day in the restaurant Margarita, Rebecca and Aramburu were not only extremely efficient but added joy and interesting conversation at every opportunity. Well done ladies. 
This hotel really is 5 star+  Did we want to go home NO, will welcome again YES.

IBERO 5 STAR

Fabulous hotel in an excellent location.  The staff, accommodation and food were exceptional. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return in the near future. On the whole the entertainment was good but there were a few acts in the bar, with the exception of the saxophonist which were a little bit under-par.

Great hotel for couples and families alike.

I can fully recommend Iberostar Anthelia, please see below my pros and a few cons.

Pros - 
•A Great welcome, chocolates, cold flannel, cava or juice.  
•Plenty of staff all of whom are friendly and helpful.
•Rooms are nice, although on the smaller size.
•Pools are good and 2 are heated with plenty of spare sun beds around them.
•The Towel system is great, you get cards and swap them for a towel each day for the pool or beach.
•Breakfast, lunch and dinner has a great selection with ok quality food (I am abit fussy though!), they can get busy at peak times.
•The gym is good and not very busy.
•Quiz’s and Bingo are fun and nice prizes, caps and bottles of cava.
•There is normally two choices of night entertainment, a live music act in the lobby and a show in the Anthelia Mall which are entertaining.

Cons -
•Rooms with connecting doors. Our 1st room had an adjourning door. Woke up on our 1st night after a very long day by next door at 11.30pm who were trying to open the door into our room and being very loud and they kept this up till gone 1am when we moved rooms (helpful & friendly staff) but poor room design and if you get an adjoining door room and want some quiet/peace I would ask to move. 
•Toilet paper is like single ply and not good quality for a 5* hotel.
•There’s a lot of Flies at the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Both at your table and going onto the food buffet (Should either close some of the bifold doors or cover the food up).
•Requirement for men to wear long trousers to dinner, I just don’t get why smart shorts are not ok for men but women and children can wear whatever they want.

A great 5 🌟 hotel.  Quality food drink rooms absolutely spot on.   
The Staff are amazing Sara in the lobby bar is a fantastic asset to the hotel so bubbly and her interaction with thr guests is natural.
Mossi and Laura in the Poseidon restaurant were exceptional.
From check in to check out it has been a truly great experience.
The only thing I would advise the hotel to do is to give out more information.  I only found out by chance that you could pick up an ice cream from the food hut.There were other little things to that we found out later in our holiday.

Genuine 5 star

The iberostar anthelia never fails to amaze me! The food is excellent and i really enjoy going to the lobby bar in the evening where there is live music, all of the staff in there are incredibly welcoming and kind, the service is amazing! Always enjoy the best holidays here!
