Pool

Just returned from 10 lovely days at the hotel. From the start I was impressed with the lobby. High ceilings and marbled floors everywhere. The reception staff spoke perfect English and were extremely helpful. Check in was simple but we didn't pay attention to the instructions and got a bit lost finding our room for the first time but a lovely cleaner showed us where to go and from then on we knew where we were.
We upgraded our package which meant we had access to branded spirits but they were only available at the lobby bar. This also meant that we had a safe in the room and needed to pay 10 euros as a deposit, we also had a coffee machine in the room which meant we could have a cup of tea. 
The food was exceptional. There was always something lovely to eat at any time of the day or night. The snack bar at the bottom pool offered salads, pizza, chips and toasted sarnies with other items cooked to order and then in the top square there was another snack bar that was open all through the night but we didn't use this one. Breakfast, lunch and dinner offered everything you could ever want. I am a vegetarian and there was always something delicious available for me. Our package meant we could book 5 ala carte restaurant bookings.
ALL the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing seemed too much for them to help with. We requested 2 extra pillows and they were in the room before we got back there.
The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in, I had the best nights sleep for the whole 10 days. Each morning the lovely cleaning person came in and made the beds, folded everything up that was laying around and also changed the towels if we left them on the floor. If you hung them up on the rails they didn't change them.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff just did not seem to stop working.
The pools were also very clean and life guards were on duty all the time.  Each morning the staff hosed everything down, including the sun beds.
There was no need to put a towel down first thing as there are more than enough sunbeds to go around but some people did. We usually had breakfast and then went to the pool and always had a nice bed with a parasol. 
There are designated smoking areas which is lovely as a non smoker.
The evening entertainment was lovely, each night there were different singers who played lots of different music and got people up dancing. In the main square there were tribute bands playing and children's entertainment but you would need to get in quick as all the chairs were taken when we wanted to watch "Queen". We just sat outside and listened.
If you take a pool towel from the towel dispensary, remember to hold onto it and return it back the next day for a fresh one. I made the mistake of leaving ours in the bins where all the wet ones were thinking this was how it worked and when I went to get 2 the next day was informed I might be charged as I had not returned the previous ones from the day before...my bad!
If you love a cup of tea I would suggest taking a travel kettle as the coffee machine was adequate but not the same.
The fridge was not very cold despite being replaced but it did keep the milk and water cold and fresh just not freezing cold.
If you wanted to book any excursions speak to one of the reps in reception rather than trying to book with the lady in the lobby. She doesn't speak a word of English and I stood waiting for over half an hour trying to book something with her and when I got there she told me she was shutting and I needed to come back the next day. I then went upstairs and the lovely Gemma from Tui booked them for me straight away. We did the buggy safari which was crazy and the dolphin boat trip. Didn't see any dolphins but a pod of pilot whales which was absolutely amazing. It was a boiling hot day and the dip in the ocean was wonderful.
If you want to go the beach it is a long walk so get a taxi from reception.
The market was ok but full of the usual holiday stuff and the stall holders do love a haggle.
I would give this hotel 10 out of 10 and am actually planning to return next year with the whole family.
Anyone thinking of booking here...do so, you will have a lovely time.

Another fantastic holiday, excellent food, staff and entertainment. Leonorr in portifino breakfast treat us like royalty. Some restraunts seemed under staffed, but it didn't spoil our holiday, its good to savour time on holiday and its easy to do here

Fantastic holiday

We stayed here as 2 couples and had a really nice break. The side sea view in block 6 was lovely, overlooking a small, rocky beach, and we woke up every morning to the sound of the waves. Staff work really hard and were all friendly and accommodating. Rooms were cleaned every day with towels changed and towels from the pool hut were readily available and you can have new ones every day. We didn’t try the à la carte restaurants as we were only here for five nights, but the selection of food was varied and of a good standard. There is a wide selection of drinks available in several places. Pretended to stick with beer, cabs or gin and tonic as the cocktails were all quite sugary but the frozen piña coladas at the pool bar where to die for - very boozy though and I was quite drunk after three of them as they went down like pop!! 
Top shout out for the fact that I lost my phone one evening and the next morning it was handed in at reception, with all of my money and cards untouched! I was really grateful for the honesty of the staff and the guests in handing it in.
If you are planning to go into Adeje or Playa, it is quite a distance in the taxi and each journey cost around €20. However, the grounds are beautiful and filled with palm trees and flowers, which make it a lovely spot for lying around and doing nothing in nice surroundings, and we didn’t mind paying for a taxi on the couple of nights that we decided to go out. 
We will come here again!

Lovely stay!!

Excellent grounds, very well maintained. Room’s very clean but occasional sections could do with a repaint. Staff excellent. Food still great but maybe less perfect than usual. Animation team try hard but depends on the clients. If you haven’t been be aware there are two sister hotels that share facilities, but it’s very spread out. Certainly possible for the less abled (as witnessed) but a chore to get anywhere.

Home from home. Perhaps not as great as pre COVID, but The long term staff are excellent

Great welcome, room a little dated although clean and comfortable with room made up daily.Food good and pool had amazing views. Pool area could be cleaner with broken and dirty parasols. Had to pay for drinks to watch football in sports bar which was poor.Advertised as Adeje however is not and will cost around 20 euros each way in taxi to visit that area.

Good but could be excellent

This charming hotel is located in the leisure district of Costa Adeje, just 200 m from the nearest beach. The airport is about 20 minutes’ ride away. The town centre with its many bars, restaurants and nightlife venues is roughly 10 km away. Links to the public transport network lie in front of the hotel. Guests are offered a cosy bar and delicious food options along with an agreeable atmosphere. The complex features a wonderful swimming pool area where visitors will have best sunny day they could ever ask for. If they prefer, they are able to work out in the gym or relax on the sun terrace. The rooms are modern, comfortable and are equipped with all the needed amenities for an unforgettable stay.
