HERO - Vincci La Plantacion

This is by far the best hotel we have visited. From the moment we arrived we found the staff to be amazing amazing Oliver in reception on a night we booked a show at another hotel because of delay from Taxis on that night he did not hesitate just grabbed his keys and drove us in his own car, Lucia was the best fun and worked so hard in the pool areas taking drink orders. The character of the hotel and the beautiful gardens are again amazing. The food at both breakfast and dinner buffets again so much choice and so very tasty. Hope to go back again🥰

Paradise Hotel

Amazing hotel, very good service,  very good food. Each day has a different theme at the buffet.  We loved the facilities that this hotel offers, it has many pools, one of them with heated water. It has different areas to relax, very nice and chill hotel  the views from the restaurant are amazing,  very friendly staff. There are free taxis to go to the beach during the day. The rooms a very big, beautifully furnished; very comfy bed. It was my birthday and Sarah the guest experience organiser helped to prepared and amazing surprise in the room with pics and balloons. Definitely and unforgettable experience!!

Fantastic Hotel!

If you can't be bothered to read this review, here is my TL;DR summary - Perfect stay, perfect staff, perfect food.

My family were embarking on our first holiday abroad and had been recommended the Vincci Plantacion by friends due to its location in a quieter part of the island. Still close enough to entertainment, food and drink without it disrupting your stay.

The Hotel
The moment we arrived, we were taken care of with someone helping us with our luggage, give my wife and I a cava and soft drinks for the children while we checked in. Good start. This was to be a theme of the stay. The staff were fantastic throughout out visit; whether that was when delivering drinks by the pool (which are amazing), the waiting staff interacting with the children at meal time, or just the general helpfulness offered when needing to get out and about. 

The room
We had a side facing sea view room and, as you will see from the photos, it gave us a lovely spectacle at sunrise. The room was a good size for 4 of us, with our bed being particularly huge. Tip - change the AC settings to reduce the noise, our first few nights we had to deal with a racket. Also, the Google Chromecast was a little flaky so might be worth packing your own streaming device (though we didn't watch much tv).

Pools
The swimming pools were lovely, with a varied selection depending on your mood - a spa pool, kids pool, adults pool and everything inbetween. The perfect place for one of there delicious cocktails or a bite to eat.

Food
We were unsure whether we would enjoy the buffet food on offer, but it was a welcome surprise. Breakfast had a variety of different options from savoury to incredibly sweet (the children weren't happy we wouldn't let them have cookies to start their day, us grown-ups were allowed a cava though).

The evening buffets were themed each night, such as Mediterranean, Canarian, American and Asian. Personally the highlights for me were always the seafood. The food was great, though, like the breakfast, you may get a little tired of the options if you eat there every day. Still, the quality was fantastic.

Special events
This is what made the holiday for me. My wife and daughter were both celebrating birthdays during our stay and the hotel went out of its way to make it a memorable experience. I had emailed ahead to ask if there was anything they could do, and they duly responded. our room was decorated with balloons and photos, and welcome messages, cava and a cake were left for us to return to. On my Wife's birthday, we received a complimentary voucher for the spa and a free evening meal which was above and beyond what we expected.

Overall it was a wonderful experience, we are already planning our return trip.

The perfect first family holiday abroad

I’m currently staying at the Vincci Seleccion La Plantacion del Sur hotel in Costa Adeje and although I’ve only been here a few days I’m having a great time and just wanted to say that the hotel is wonderful - it’s a beautiful place and the hotel staff are all so nice, from the reception staff and concierge to the ladies who work so hard every day to make the rooms perfect for guests.

I had not been out of the UK since 2019 and hoped I had made the right choice of hotel from a Tenerife shortlist but I needn’t have worried, I couldn’t ask for more. I’m in room 136 which is very spacious with a balcony that has an amazing sea view. Everything is spotlessly clean, the bed is very large and extremely comfortable and the bathroom has an excellent shower.

The hotel has a very pleasant, peaceful atmosphere and the decor in the rooms and throughout the hotel is refined, tasteful and grand, with beautiful colour schemes, furniture, plants and water features in the many large communal areas, and even in the hotel corridors. The swimming pools are also very nice and Playa del Duque (IMO definitely the nicest beach of the many between Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos) isn’t far down the hill from the hotel.

I would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, nice area

We stayed here June 2024. Firstly, I’d read so many reviews (I always research in depth), lots of them saying about the fact it was at the top of a bank and that it definitely was… don’t get me wrong it wasn’t an issue, but in the heat and after the first few days of doing the journey a few times a day it got monotonous. So after 3 or so days, we started getting taxis (they are reasonable). In terms of location it is beautiful and the views are stunning. But we felt just that little bit too far out from Costa adeje main areas of bars and restaurants. There are a few restaurants just down the bank in playa del duque, but not many so it’s a 15/20 minute walk to the busier parts. 

There is a little spar just down the bank also which is good for picking up snacks and drinks. 

The hotel did take a credit card at check in for the mini bar, which we never used and tbh would have preferred the fridge empty to put our own drinks in. We booked with TUI so I wasn’t expecting to have to hand a credit card over at check in, so be mindful of that.

The hotel itself is really beautiful, immaculate and all the staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you!

Rooms - I booked a superior double. It was lovely, big spacious. The only down was the balcony was tiny with 2 chairs, the smallest of all judging by the rest of them. Bed was huge, fridge (again, it was full) we managed to squeeze a bottle or 2 in but I would ask reception to get it emptied if your not planning on using anything from the mini bar.

We only used the adults only pool whilst there but there are a few to chose from, sunbeds weren’t an issue, we got one no problem each day.

Breakfast - there was plenty to choose from, fruit, pastries, cooked breakfast etc, we never had any issues and food was nice.

Siam park- would definitely recommend, we got there early and had pre bought tickets online. We didn’t get fast pass tickets and got on everything fine. Food was reasonably priced whilst in there. We also took water shoes, would say this is a must, not sure how people were walking round without them on as the floor was so hot and rough in places. 

Apart from the major flight delay at the end of the holiday, we enjoyed it. Would we return to this hotel? For us, no we wouldn’t, but that’s purely down to the location for us. Other than that we couldn’t not fault the hotel!

Beautiful Hotel with stunning views!
