We had a wonderful stay here in June 2024. 

Our room (516) was spacious, clean and tucked out of the way on the ground floor facing the pool. The gardens here are beautifully maintained with parakeets flying round the palm trees. The pool is a great size and depth and unlike other hotels we have been to there were always enough loungers no matter what time of day / temperature. No sunbed hogging here which was great!!

All of the staff we encountered were exceptionally polite and hardworking, with great English skills. Special shout out to the ladies working the pool bar, the animations lady running the pingpong tournament and all the dinner service staff. They truly work hard to ensure you are having a relaxing time. Also special mention to Manu, Martin Jose and the drinks waiter (sorry we didn't get your name!) who made great cocktails every night. Our favourite was the Taoro Garden Cocktail! 

Nearby attractions include Puerto De La Cruz town, Loro Parque Zoo, Botanical Gardens and there is a local bus you can take to Mt Teide for roughly 5 euros each way. People complaining about the steps up to this hotel from the town need to do some exercise or get a life as it is clearly stated it is hilly area and the hotel do run a shuttle bus if you cannot walk it. 

Key things WE LOVED and would return for: 
- Food and drinks were great, branded and certainly not stingy with the measures 
- Ping pong table we really enjoyed 
- Fantastic staff and relaxing atmosphere, we didn't want to leave! 

Some small pointers for improvement: 
- The bed was two singles pushed together; common in Europe I'm pretty sure but at times annoying 
- A full length mirror would've been great as only one mirror in bathroom

Would 100% Recommend and Return in Future - Loved it!!

Me and my partner had a fantastic stay, the room was perfect, had everything we needed and was cleaned every day. The pool area has plenty of sun beds and the pool was at a perfect temperature in my opinion.

Food at the all inclusive restaurant was fantastic and there were different options everyday including different meats and fish cooked fresh on the grill. Breakfast was great again with bacon cooked to order which I have never had at an all inclusive! There are so many cocktail options with all inclusive and branded alcohol which again haven’t seen at other all inclusive hotels. Water is bottles therefore you can take back to your room. All the staff were lovely and attentive.

Only advice would be to update the gym maybe adding a squat rack however the equipment was good to keep us going for our holiday.

Fantastic All Inclusive

In terms of the Hotel you really cannot ask for more for what you pay.

Alcoholic drinks are branded with a wide range of cocktails included in all inclusive. The bar and pool bar give bottled water, so you can just ask for a few and stack them in your fridge (not sure why this is a problem for some people, not exactly a challenge to do). We also had no problem taking glasses or cups to our room to drink either.

The food was very good with a wide selection for each meal, we did go out for a lunch and dinner a few times out of choice but the meal variety was great for a week’s stay. 

Cleanliness was spot on and you can tell the management and staff care about keeping the hotel pristine. 

As for location, you can’t really ask for more provided you don’t mind walking up steep hills to get back to the hotel (if you are fit or young this wont be a problem). The Zoo is 10 minute taxi, town is a 15-20 minute walk away, theres a lovely Garden that backs on the hotel, lots of options for food and drink also, (note: location is nothing to do with the hotel so if you see anyone complain at that they should do more research in regard to whats around).

Finally Gym facilities: small gym, nothing crazy. Dumbbells up to 15kg, one bench, cardio equipment and some cable machines. However, I will say there is a callisthenics park right next to the hotel which isn’t mentioned anyone - so u can do a run in the park and pull ups and dips etc to mix up workout. If the gym had a 20kg bar and a squat rack with some weights it would be perfect but not many people used the gym facilities in our stay.

Great stay, lovely hotel. Only shame was the weather which was out of the hotels control but there is still loads to do and experience if it is cloudy during your stay.

Lovely staff, great value for money

Very clean and tidy hotel set in peaceful garden surroundings. Pleasant pool and bar area with plenty of good quality sun beds. No evidence of reserving beds. Generally quiet but all staff friendly polite and helpful. All inclusive stay but served branded drinks. Food choices very good. Only negatives were the walk from the coach drop off point to the hotel which  is about 100 yards. No assistance provided and a charge applied when changing towels (outside) at reception.

Relaxed Friendly and Good Quality Hotel

My friends and I stayed here mid June and have very mixed reviews of the hotel. Let's start with the positives.... The hotel itself was very clean, very well maintained and the rooms were lovely and big. The cleaners came every day and did an amazing job. The hotel staff we super friendly and very helpful. The pool bar staff were excellent and remembered our drinks orders. There was no need to get up before 9am to reserve sunbeds as there was always plenty even late into the afternoon, which is always a bonus. The pool, although on some days was chilly it was very clean and reasonable sized. The drinks included in the all inclusive are very generous with servings, great selection, including cocktails and branded spirits (excluding top shelf). There is a pool table (although we only found this out on our last day), it is on the -1 floor in the main building. 

A massive postive for us was that we were there to celebrate an anniversary and a birthday. We mentioned this to the hotel prior to our arrival and they had arranged for a complimentary bottle of cava in each room on the day of the special occasions.

Reason for my 3 star was the food was not great. There is limited selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant. It was mainly fish pork and cheese based dishes that were served. If you like chips these are available most days. I feel the food was mainly catered towards Eastern European travelers. The food at the pool bar, although very basic (mainly hotdog, burger and chips) it was edible. 

We found ourselves eating out every night due to the food. The town is easy(ish) to get to if you like walking, as it is down hill via the gate at the back of the hotel. However it involves plenty of stairs. If you go out via the front it involves huge, steep hills. We found ourselves getting taxis most days. The cost varied between 4.50 - 8 euros each way depending on route taken and time of day.

The rooms were lovely and big, with big balconies. The beds were very comfy. Plenty of plug sockets in the room. The TV had around 3 English speaking channels but occasionally you could change the language on other channels. The aircon was reasonable, however a very old system. It could do with a slight upgrade. 

The evening entertainment was very repetitive and the bar closed at 11pm, with lights being turned off and terrace closed. This made you feel like you had to go to bed. The activities around the pool were again repetitive with darts, ping pong and bingo being the main entertainment. It would have been better if there was background music. A pool clock would also be nice.

Overall I don't think we will personally stay here again but our experience was nice, minus the food but we made the most of it. The area is very pretty and peaceful.

Lovely hotel but.....

This beautiful hotel is located in northern Tenerife, on the coastal town of Puerto de la Cruz. The airport is about 25 minutes' drive away. It is just a short stroll from the heart of Puerto de la Cruz, a charming fishing town where guests can soak in the Canarian atmosphere and let themselves be delighted by the local gastronomy. The sea front promenade is lined with a wide variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Around the pool area, visitors can find a bar which offers snacks and drinks, an outdoor pool and a terrace with comfortable sun loungers. The elegant rooms come with all the necessary amenities to have a pleasant stay. Only Adults hotel, minimum age 16.
