Pool

Had a lovely week , all inclusive. Food was good, plenty to choose from. Wasn’t very busy when we went always space at meal times and by the pool. Walk down to sea, beach is approx 15 min walk quite a steep hill and step back up. The water machine on each level is good, no need to buy bottled water as the dispenser provides chilled , ambient and boiling water. We tool our thermal flasks so we could make a decent cup of tea in room.- hotel tea breakfast tea bags not great ( bought tea, milk and sugar from shop 2 mins round the corner). Lovely place to chill and relax, lots of small bars , cafe near by for a stroll in the evening. Would recommend earplugs, could hear the hotel staff getting ready for breakfast in the mornings and we were on the top floor. Drinks from bar were a little hit and miss- would of been good to have a menu- for cocktails available to all inclusive, as I never knew what to order, and didn’t end up ordering many drinks . Not sure all the rooms have been modernised like in the photos, ours was a little more rustic that in photos however was clean and adequate for us with a view of the mountain and sea.

Lovely little break in the sun

Just finished 5 nights at O7 hotel. My thoughts are mixed on the experience in parts, but overall a pleasant week. It’s a very clean and well kept hotel, staff overall pleasant, but we didn’t have too much interaction with them. The hotel seemed very aimed at Spanish tourists from our experience especially on the evening entertainment, and there wasn’t any entertainment catered to English speakers, as with some more tourist areas of  Spain that we have been to before (probably just more the area and maybe time of year). Having more to do in the day would have been good like games or quizzes.  
A walk into the centre of Puerto de la Cruz is not for the faint hearted with lots of steps up and down but it was a lovely centre, beautifully clean everywhere with lovely picturesque views and plenty of restaurants and shops to visit. 
Food was varied but would likely go half board next time as eating there became a chore. The cocktails were good on the all inclusive but seemed a bit inconsistent with the strength of them depending on who made them. It’s not the best food that I’ve had before in Spain but it was relatively nice and usually varied. The bar near the hotel was very noisy at night and usually living on a main road at home sleep comes easy but I struggled some nights (earplugs recommended). Definitely feels more of a couples holiday. Thanks for having us.

An honest review

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
Staff were so helpful and professional.
It was a nice peaceful seven days with plenty of sunshine and a lovely pool. 
I wish I could have stayed longer.
The food was lovely.
I liked the idea of having a water dispenser at the end of the corridor which replaced the use of plastic bottles and a little fridge to store my food and drink in.
The one thing I would make users of the hotel aware of is that payment for use of the safe is payable in cash plus a €20 deposit in cash.
Surely the facility should exist to take the payment of the safe use by card.
Thank you to the member of staff who came across to the church where I was waiting for my transfer back to the airport to let me know that taxi was there to pick me up instead.

Early 60th Birthday Treat

Had the best holiday with my partner, staff were lovely, hotel lovely and clean, pool area was great 👍 never busy and fairy quiet, the walk down to the centre was great but LOTS of steps we walked down to the centre and usually got a taxi back up to the hotel which varied 3/5 euro very cheap! 
Lots of shops near by, places to eat etc and a great view point just outside the hotel where you can see the most stunning view, the only downsides to the hotel were no air con but we did have a fan and the doors open and at night the room was cool but getting ready in the evening was a hot task! 
Also the beds were very hard compared to what I’m use to my partner thought the same but we got use to it towards the end of our stay. 
Me and my partner are aged 25-35 and whilst we love our quiet and leave the hotel was very much elderly people and mainly all Spanish tourists. So if you are a younger and more lively couple I would say probably not your place.

Quiet and peaceful

Unfortunately not the best! Took a 5 day holiday here but wasn’t happy at all. Upon booking we read that there was day time activities to which there wasn’t not a massive issue but also when asking staff what evening entertainment there was and times etc along with asking to know what was on the evening menu for dining majority of the staff didn’t know any answers to our questions. The hotel became over run my children who the hotel seemed to think it was acceptable for them to be unsupervised by parents and was allowed to run free round the hotel soaking wet from the pool to which causing the stairs and general walkways wet and slippery. Ball games was allowed which again fine kids play by constantly having balls kicked about at you round the pool area and outside bar/snack bar became very frustrating felt like I was sat in the middle of a play park. When speaking to the receptionist she apologised and said there be going home tomorrow no real concern to the fact she has unhappy guests. Evening entertainment lasted all of 30 minutes each evening wasn’t anything worth staying for. I understand families come for holidays I myself have children however I expect parents to make sure their supervising their kids so that their respectful to other people who are enjoying their holiday and if not the hotel staff and management should be implementing rules so that all guests are happy. Won’t be retuning and wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here

Disappointing unless you want to stay in what seems like a child’s free for all

A family-friendly hotel is a 3-minute walk away from the nearest beach, it's a great spot for families seeking sea and sunshine.
