Pool

The hotel was in good location. Market was also near. The staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant food was excellent, the chef also makes food according to your taste. Overall it was great experience and would recommend it to all. 5/5

On arrival to the hotel we didn’t expect much but we were pleasantly surprised.
We had room 1609 which has a side sea view. On our first day the maid made an amazing elephant out of the towels and the room was always spotless. 
The staff are all so friendly and nothing is ever too much for them.
 I have a special mention for one of the men around the pool, I believe his name is Abdurrahman, he works so hard and is always smiling. He really made our holiday that little bit more special as he would always find us loungers and get us an umbrella and table. I’ve attached a pic of his name badge.
The entertainment is a little bit hit or miss, same as the food, but it’s typical all inclusive stuff and you will never go hungry. If you get a chance, I would definitely recommend having the a la carte. We did the Italian and the Turkish and both were really good and you were served fast. 
Drinks are amazing, the strawberry mojitos and the iced coffee were second to none. Some of the staff would even use branded spirits at the pool bar and the little stall down at the beach entertainment.
The shop in the hotel is very expensive so I would recommend going out of the hotel for anything you may need. There’s a supermarket 5 minutes to the right of the hotel that was about cheaper.
There is A LOT of cats around the hotel but don’t let this put you off. They will only come to you for attention if you ask them but they may beg at dinner time. If you don’t like them, ignore them and they will leave. The amount of adults and kids we saw kicking them away or pushing them away was so disheartening. There’s kittens on the left of the hotel in the bushes before you come to the shops, if you do like cats you will love them, the mum is always there but is very friendly and the kittens are adorable.
Lastly, be aware there is a bit of a deep ledge going into the water at the beach and it is pebbles rather than sand when going in. Definitely wear footwear as it’s not the most pleasant thing. 
We would definitely return and are already looking to book for next year.

Last day in this hotel and in all fairness I think it’s been great - Yes it might be a little bit tired around the edges but if you want top drawer put your hand in your pocket and pay for a 5 *- The staff are spot on - For the amount of people it is spotless clean . Food like every AI is repetitive but I’m a fussy eater and I found something every meal time . The beach is lovely staff even bring round fresh water melon - We hired a Cabana well worth it . Just make sure you order extra fried chicken for your extra guest a lovely big white dog . I have realty enjoyed my time here and it was well worth the money we paid 👍🏻 I think they have even got on top of the lobby bar queues

Ok so this is a realllly long review. 
Two adults, 6yr old and two 16yr old lads. 
Amazing hotel! Review trying to bite size but info on things to note. 
Room. 
We got a family room. Very spacious. Extremely clean. Maids came every day. Even surprised us with little towel decorations on the bed. Just put the sign on the door if you won’t want them in. 
Free safe. Large enough to store iPads. 
Free mini fridge with water, orangeade and cola. Refilled daily with water. Give you more pop too if you’ve drank what’s there. 
No usb in our room but absolutely loads of plugs so we didn’t need the extension lead we took. 
Tv with an info channel of the hotel but rest is Turkish channels. Leads to attach dvd players etc. (We had a portable for our daughter we hooked up). 
Lifts worked perfectly. 
Staff. 
All really helpful and kind. We had someone steal our daughter’s hooded towel (not hotels fault!) and the lady at guest relations was really helpful trying to find it in case it had been tidied by staff. 
Staff in restaurant were always there to take your drink order and several time came back with the same order when they noticed you had finished your drink. Very attentive. Not all speak perfect English but all very helpful and calm. Especially when you witness several guests being rude them cos of this. Handled with grace. 
Maids were nice. One lady so happy, made me smile every time I saw her. 
Asked for late checkout, went at 7am and told to come back at 9. Couldn’t get all day as fully booked but able to stay til 2pm instead of 12 free of charge. They need to register both key cards as they will lock at 12. Bags are then stored either behind the desk in a room or if it’s full, in the lobby. I felt uncomfortable at first leaving them and sat in lobby for an hour til realised they were perfectly safe where they were!
Plugs in lobby and a charging station to put phone in and lock while charging. Free. 
Main lobby literally houses everywhere you need to go so even though it’s a big hotel you can’t get lost! 
There is a hairdressers. Prices for hair is decent but hair braids for 30€ seemed a bit steep. Pleasant blokes though. 5€ for painted nails which was lovely for my 6 year old. 
Onsite market. Didn’t buy anything so didn’t really look at prices but had pretty much anything you needed in emergency. 
Spa for treatments. It’s also where you get your towels. You get given a card and swap for a towel. Then return for your card back. Also a towel place just before you go to the beach pool area so no need to lug towels from hotel to beach. 
Onsite gym. Cardio and weights. Aircon. Meant to be over 16 but was kids in there but weren’t causing trouble. 
24 hour bar in the lobby. Guest relations. Reps corner. 
Restaurant also leading from lobby. 
Food was decent. Pretty much repetitive but with tweaks here and there every day. Always chicken nuggets, chips, plain spaghetti with sauce next to it rather than mixed. Soooo much food. We were only there 4 days so we were fine. If any longer you may want to eat out if you get bored. No idea how or where the a la carte was as we didn’t go. 
There is a small kids area within the restaurant that had little tables and chairs with nuggets/chips/onion rings which is seperate from the main stations which makes it easier for little ones to get their own food but we didn’t use. Also if you go out a little bit there is a bbq type area with steaks etc worth looking at. 
Mocha from the coffee machine is literally best I’ve ever tasted randomly lol. Juices and water available to get yourself. Everything else was waiters. 
Yes there were flies but honestly what can you expect. Only a few. Didn’t put me off. 
Quite a few stray cats around if that bothers you but they were so docile and didn’t really bother you much. 
Pizza and flatbreads along with nuggets, spaghetti available at the snack bar near the pool bar. Also a little patisserie with cakes. 
Snack bar over near the beach pools too. Had lovely kfc style chicken. Along with usual suspects. 
Ice cream freezers during day at both snack bars filled with Oreo, vienetta, twister, Cornettos and fruit lollies. Fridges full of water to take as well in both. 
There was a pizza shack at beach pool area that did waffles too apparently but didn’t go look. 
Pools and sunbeds. 
Yes it was difficult to get beds. Always towels already down when we went. But there’s a lovely old man constantly walking around cleaning who finds beds for you. Please tip him if you can he works so hard all day honestly! 
Sunbed situation was worse at beach pool so we stayed at the hotel. 
It is soooooo slippy though so be careful. Signs everywhere warning you but my god the amount of times I saw kids run and slip. Even walking. So be careful. 
Pools all clean. Enough space. Inflatables allowed. Inside pool was technically outside as they had the shutters up probably cos of season. Bit cooler in there as it doesn’t get as much sun. Attached to main pool. 
Kiddie bit at main pool. Also another pool with big slides open 10-12 and 2-4 during day. Splash park at beach pool. 
Water polo, aqua aerobics etc on in both main pools (hotel and beach) at certain times. Hotel was am and beach was pm. Also lots of other activities that are detailed at a hut at main pool or on a sign at guest relations. 
Beach. 
Sand burns!! Wear sandals and clothes pool shoes for kids. Sand is just tiny rocks so not great for kids. Water was lovely. We didn’t stay long as it was comfortable for our daughter to play in sand. You can’t make sandcastles. Showers to get sand off before going back to hotel part. 
Travel and airport. 
There is a minibus every 10 mins to take you to the beach pool but is a 5/7 minute walk. Literally come out of the hotel. Cross over using the crossing and follow straight ahead past the delphin and it gets you there. It’s on Google maps (I checked route before we went). 
Hotel is about 25 mins drive in a private transfer from airport. 
Took a long time to get out luggage and drinks aren’t cheap. Also don’t leave the building til you need to as I went with the little one to find where to get our transfer while rest of family got bags. It’s literally right outside but we couldn’t go back in so I had a very hot 6 year who couldn’t understand that we weren’t allowed to re enter the airport! 
Activities
As said earlier there is lots of water games. There were also beach volleyball, table tennis and darts tournaments if you wanted to. Get given a certificate or a medal :). 
A kids club at beach pool area that ran for few hours morning and afternoon but we didn’t use as my daughter just wanted to be in the pool all day and it was so hot. Also a kids playground bit near the main pool at hotel but again far too hot. 
There is a bit near the beach bar that has x2 of pool tables, tables tennis and goose ball tables that are free to use. Godsend for my 16yr old and his friend. They met some good friends there. 
There is a tennis/basketball court that they also played football in. It was always empty when we walked past. Can play footy on grass bit near beach and probably the volleyball section on the beach too so don’t worry about it not having an actual pitch. One thing I was worrying about. Kids just bought a ball from the shops on strip and gifted to a little boy when they left. 
There is karaoke/bingo/live singer etc type things at the pool bar at hotel. And main entertainment at beach bit. Kids disco is basically half an hour of dance routines to Turkish songs but my daughter still loved it and joined in. They had the football on at the beach bar. Different entertainment after kids disco each night but we weren’t that interested. Was nightclub type pirate disco with a dj one night which we thought was a pirate show by mistake. 
Shop/currency
They accept anything. Most things priced in euros. We took euros and lira. I found euros easier for my brain to work out!! You can barter. I didn’t as I’m a wuss. Only bought a few things so didn’t feel the need. My son however got price down on a lot of things so is worth a go if you’re getting lots of stuff. 
They do try to get you to go their shop every time you walk passed. We just said no thank you and passed by. Some can be pushy when giving leaflets for trips. 
If you head out of hotel and turn left there are a lot of shops. Decent stuff. Got my daughter a football strip for 5€. Some stuff not worth it. You can tell yourself though what is and isn’t worth it so don’t worry there. Toys!! Toys are SUPER EXPENSIVE! This was difficult when trying to say no to your child when you said they can get a toy but honestly I couldn’t agree to pay the extortionate prices for quite bad quality to be honest. So please bear this in mind for little ones.
Do not go shopping during the day with kids. It’s too hot. We went over the road to sultan bazaar thinking be ok but even with aircon on it was warm and out of 20 odd shops we were the only 3 people in the entire place so felt bit awkward. Put me off wanting to shop around so can’t tell you the quality or prices over there but my son said he got stuff over there which was good. 
Don’t bother going to the Nike outlet as it’s not a Nike outlet lol. 
Don’t worry about sun cream. I’d been told it’s really expensive but i saw some for like 8€ so not a massive deal. 
Also when walking don’t let your kids grab anything. We had a few people try to put stuff in the kids hands to then feel like we had to buy (ice cream,bubble stuff). 
Drinks. Pretty much any drink you want within reason. Cocktails all day. So much alcohol in them so if you like it strong fab. If not then best asking. Lager was fine. Kids milkshakes. Mocktails. Iced coffee with caramel. 
All in all we had a great holiday! Only reason to not return is purely if you wanted to try somewhere else. We loved it. I think I’ve covered everything I can think of lol. I e didn’t do excursions as we were only there a few days. 
Hope this very long review will help someone decide to go. Definitely worth it!!!

Go! You won’t regret it

It was our first visit of Antalya. In my opinion, choosing Ramada Resort by Wyndham hotel was one of the best decisions has been taken by us.

Everything was perfect. My husband, my son and I have lots of joyful memories during our stay in this hotel which encourage us to stay in the hotel in our next trip to Antalya.
