Wow, what a fabulous holiday. Excellent staff, especially Enes, Serdar, Yunus & Arif. Also to note was Muhsin from the Olive bar who knew our routine and brought us Turkish coffee without us asking every morning we were there. 

Pools great, food great, weather was warm, hotel was very clean, entertainment was,,,, ok but then I’ve been spoilt at other spots. No issues with getting a bed at any pool or beach location even if we got to the pool or beach at 11am. Great hotel initiative to remove plastic bottles so they give you snazzy branded glass bottles to refill at stations then take home so thank you. Just odd that they still have plastic Coke & Fanta bottles in the mini bar

We had issues with room cleaning which we were not satisfied with the response but we’ll await the inevitable questionnaire. Not a good enough reason to not recommend though. 

A lovely walk to Side too and well worth the visit. Would go again but want to try other Barut hotels first.

Well worth it

Just returned from our 2nd visit to this wonderful hotel. The 2nd stay was just as special at the 1st. The setting, staff, food and restaurants available are all fantastic. Buffet caters for everyone and the al a cartes serve some fantastic food. 

Hotel is clean, branded drinks, very good food, bar staff will make drinks not on the menu. Plenty to do for children with the slides and play areas on offer. The beach bar for lunch is especially good. 

All staff work tirelessly and yet nothing is too much to ask. 

I can’t write enough positives things about this hotel. 

Only reason I wouldn’t return again is due to the price increases from tour operators.

Love this place.

This was our approximately 16th visit and regard the hotel as home from home. 
Everything as usual was perfect, the hotel, food & all staff, quite a few we regard as friends (Arif, Ahmet Şen, Murat, General manager Izzet Bekir to name just a few)
We have already booked our next visit for September '25 when 14 family members will visit. counting the days.
Excellent hotel very, very clean, superb gardens, great beach and pool, fabulous food, various bars, a la carte restaurants, 
Great variation of drinks etc. Waiter service on the beach. SUPERB!


Superb hotel 

This was my second trip to this resort.
My first review, last year was a perfect 5⭐️. Everything was great.
I just returned on 30, June from my second trip to the same resort. And I have to say few things have changed.
Staff as always great. 
Everything was clean.
Different food every night. 
Good drinks.
Entertainment also great.
Pool clean.
Cons
This is only my opinion, so take it for what is worth.
I like to spend time in the beach, in the water, and not the pool area. But this time around the water was dirty, and pretty bad smell coming from one side of the beach. There is a sewer located on the valley ball side, and dirty water leaching out the sewer right into the ocean. When I spoke to the management what that is. His explanation was that all the water collects and comes down the sewer. Which is a LIE. There wasn’t any rain for the past two and half weeks. Next day two managers were standing over the sewer, and I asked them what this is. Apparently now they showing concern. One manager refused to talk to me, send manager said she didn’t know. Another LIE, and now they hiding something. I asked her how you cannot know if you been working here for so long, and if this was her first time on the beach. NO RESPONSE. The water is dirty, so dirty that you can’t see the rock. Lots of rocks, that if you step on them the wrong way, you can really hurt yourself. So beware. 
Our room 1720 had a really BAD smell of rotting eggs coming from AC. Sometime during the night when everyone was sleeping. Goes on for about 15 minutes, then stops. We complained to the management, and they offered to switch our room, but only the garden view and not the ocean view.  I m not a doctor but I believe rotten egg smell not good for you lungs.
So for those two reasons, I m not coming back, but if you don’t care about the beach and the dirty water, and the smell, then may be this resort is for you.

Second time around not for us.

This was our 3rd visit to the Spectacular Barut Hemera and yet again our Holiday was just perfect !!!!.
The feeling you get staying here is amazing.
We have already booked again for 2025.
