Hotel is closed up until April 24 or longer Tui are not cascading out any information about the refurb which sees the loss of the water park opposite and the amusements - there's also talk of 1 resraraunt going as well . The rooms are losing carpets and baths as well. A few water chutes are being located at the bottom right of the grounds near the exit to the beach. Beware of you've booked based on expecting to have previous facilities as it was hard work getting any info out of the hotel group

Just got back from a 9 night stay at Royal Dragon and we throughly enjoyed it. We have a 2 & 5 year old and both have had a fabulous holiday. The hotel is spotless, staff constantly cleaning around the pools etc. Getting sunbeds wasn’t an issue. Many hours spent having endless fun on the slides all the rooms have been refurbished and are lovely. The food is really good and so much choice. Lots of snacks  available all day long around the pool area so no need to drag the kids into the main dining room which we liked. The entertainment in the theatre was really good on the times we went. It’s right on a sandy beach. The staff work really hard and can’t do enough for you. Would recommend to anyone wanting a fun packed family holiday. Thank you for a great stay.

Couldn’t fault it! Fabulous hotel for familes 💕

Just got back from a weeks stay here, and I cannot fault this hotel at all! 

I got very worried by a review saying it was all change and they were getting rid of certain elements, but I honestly need not have worried! 

Yes, they have swapped out baths for showers - much better in my opinion! The rooms have had a lovely make over and are now modern and fresh with a large walk in shower which is much more convenient and easier to use.

Yes, the hotel no longer has access to the amusements situated the neighbouring hotel (what we were most worried about!) however, the hotel has put their own water slides onsite which were fab and there is a really great splash park where our daughter spent hours having the best time! 

The food is amazing, such a great selection and cooked fresh - no complaints from me, my husband or our 5 year old! 

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone - one of the best we have ever stayed at!

Fabulous family holiday!

Spent 9 nights at the Royal Dragon and would put it down as the best hotel we have stayed in.  Consistently great service from the staff all the time. Unbelievable choice in the restaurants although we didn't pay the extra £20.00 for the alacarte you don't need to, can't believe anybody would say they couldn't find any food they liked. The pool is endless and always sunbeds avaliable.  The water park for the teenagers and adults was brand new and well supervised. All in all a brilliant holiday would certainly return.

Food is rubbish, bland and repetitive, there are no lifeguards stopping kids and adults from doing as they please a kid and a woman nearly drowned but was saved by guests in the hotel, on arrival all the vegetarian foods was marked up incorrectly ie chicken, lamb,  beef, so my partner can't trust any food marked as "vegetarian". Deserts all look amazing but taste bland. Alot of the dancing shows are choreographed along the same theme line, the slides we would be able to use at the sister hotel the entrance has been blocked so you can not use the slides we was told we could use on booking have been closed of . Amusements are highly overpriced. On a good note the waiter staff and the service staff are all friendly. The pool is a nice big. The snack bar food is alright. The drinks are nice but have to pay extra for fresh orange (€2).

Bad experience

This extraordinary hotel has it all: its Chinese style architecture and interior design is simply impressive, on its beautifully landscaped premises it hosts a large pool area with water slides, an amusement park, an amphitheatre and a bowling alley. Various restaurants offer a large variety of delicious food. Last but not least, the hotel is directly situated on a golden sandy beach.
