I was in this hotel for 7 days,it was unbelievable emotions gor me,hotel is wonderful,staff is amazing,foods and drinks is very delicious,the shows every day were amazing,my big love to animators group,Ibrahim,Nedwa,Elip and others,you are amazing all,i love u and miss u,i spent fantastic time with u,i absolutely recomended this hotel,i will ne back❤️

My impressions of this fantastic hotel

Well what can I say, a week away with my family, we have mixed reviews.
Definitely not a 5*,  stayed at many 5* hotels in Turkey and this is definitely below standards and lackiing facilities.
Pool, beach and water slides great. Entrainment team work so hard along with the team from the photo shop.
It's the food and drink that we found disappointing, same food everyday, no themed nights or rotation of menu, the same choice every time for breakfast, lunch and dinner, after a few days it gets boring.....we ended up ordering take away food and heading out to restrants Instead of staying at the hotel restaurant which was disappointing when paid all inclusive.
The drinks wasn't great either, no main brands just local alcohol which wasn't great. Cocktails were poor....other hotels within Turkey have been great.
Our rooms had a button to press is you want your room cleaned which I did most days, poor standard of cleaning, same marks left on floor all week, I didn't remove them as wanted to see how long they would be there for....yes all week cleaners didn't remove them. Towels not changed regularly, I would leave them on shower floor to get new ones, however cleaners would refold the dirty ones and put them back on shelf. I had to go find someone to change them. Mini bar didn't always get refilled, and only soft drinks in fridge anyway.
One night half way through our holiday we got woken at 3am by lots of screaming, crying and shouting. You could hear glass being smashed etc. It was that bad be thought hotel was being raided or something, when my husband went out our room to go see what was happening the room alarm started going off, making us panic even more. 
When my husband returned, the alarm had stopped, and he informed me their was a massive fight in the lobby with staff and guests...it went on for just under an hour. Lots of family's very upset but no staff member come to see if we were all OK even though at least  100 people had come out their rooms to see what was happening.
Hotel is about a 25 minute drive from good shops, markets and other beaches, not alot around the hotel other than other hottest looked sooooo much better.
I love Turkey and  will be returning but definitely not to this hotel.
If you like cheap and basic then this is for you, if you like something abit special, then there are many other hotels in same price range alot better to book.

Will not be returning

Lovely hotel, staff and food. Memis Sous chef excellent and Kemil on reception too, both took our food allergies seriously.
Many Russians, hardly any English.
Markets - Side on Saturday very good, better prices and same goods as bigger Manavgat market on Monday and Thursdays.
Bus - easy - across road from hotel, 1 euro  each way.
Beach - 5 min walk away, lots of sunbeds, bar and restaurant. Toilets, showers. Beach shoes would be very helpful as getting in and out of sea on sandy shingle was a workout!
A few shops in the basement of hotel - barber/hairdresser, jewellery, trainers and a store that sells everything. You could arrive with no toiletries at all and buy from here- good if travelling with hand luggage only. 
Spa - didn’t use
Towels - strictly only handed out 8am-12, hand back by 6pm. Pool closes at 5.30pm, slides at 4pm.  
Entertainment - mix of good and awful 
Table Tennis- only allowed to play when the guy in the hut is there. Never in the evenings. Bring your own bats and balls if you like to play. 
Mostly middle aged men play water polo, not seen any teenagers or in 20s which is a shame. 
Stella resort in Crete was fantastic for including everyone but that’s another review.

Good hotel for family holiday.

First Impressions:
Hotel Water Side Resort and Spa certainly lives up to its name with a luxurious and visually appealing exterior. The aesthetic of the resort is grand and inviting, making a strong first impression upon arrival.

Food and Dining Experience
The food at the hotel is generally quite enjoyable, offering a variety of dishes that are well-prepared and flavorful. However, there are some noticeable issues with food quality on certain days. Some dishes, like bread dipped in egg or chicken steak, seem to be reheated from the previous day, which detracts from the overall dining experience.

Drinks
The drinks at the resort are commendable. The cocktails and other beverages are well-mixed and you can definitely feel the presence of alcohol, making for a satisfying drinking experience.

Entertainment
The entertainment provided by the hotel is subpar. During my 11-day stay, I found the shows to be unengaging and repetitive, with some performances being repeated within the same period. Additionally, activities like bingo require an extra fee, which feels like an unnecessary add-on given the overall experience.

Fitness Program
The fitness offerings are also disappointing. The woman in charge of fitness activities seems disinterested and unengaged. Rather than actively participating and motivating guests, she primarily shows the fitness gym and then sits down to watch, which diminishes the fun and interactive aspect that guests might expect from a resort fitness program.

Staff and Service
While the staff are generally nice, there is a noticeable difference in their treatment of guests based on tips. Those who tip receive better service, including more frequent drink offers and friendlier interactions. This disparity in service can be off-putting for guests who choose not to tip for various reasons.

Transportation to the Beach
The hotel provides a shuttle bus service to the beach, but the experience is far from pleasant. The bus is old, stinky, and lacks air conditioning. In really hot weather, this results in an uncomfortable 2 min journey where passengers are left sweating profusely. This aspect certainly needs improvement to match the overall standard the hotel aims to set.

Beach Amenities
The amenities at the beach are lacking in some areas. While beer and soft drinks are available, there are no other drink options, which can be disappointing for those looking to enjoy a wider variety of refreshments. Additionally, the food available at the beach between 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM consists mostly of starter-like items, making it difficult to spend the entire day at the beach without feeling the need to return to the hotel for a more substantial meal.

Conclusion
Hotel Water Side Resort and Spa has potential, given its beautiful premises and generally good food and drinks. However, the issues with food quality, lackluster entertainment, disengaged fitness staff, biased service based on tipping, uncomfortable beach transportation, and limited beach amenities need to be addressed to improve the overall guest experience.

Review of Hotel Water Side Resort and Spa after 11 days

We had our family holiday here mainly because it was within budget for the adjoining room. The hotel staff we had to deal with were all pleasant and helpful. Arriving after midnight we took advantage of the soup and bread available which was very tasty after more than an hour on a coach.

On the first day, we talked with the spa staff about what they could offer and the family VIP room sounded good, the coffee or mango peel and massage and a follow-up treatment the day before we were leaving. The room was lovely and the masseurs were excellent. A BIG thanks to Silvi, Anti and Sandra. All of them were very kind, patient and professional! We all felt great after the treatments and actively promoted the benefits to other guests when we talked. 

The Apple Tea in the spa was so good we bought some from the gift shop but also found it online in the UK much cheaper! The aftershave I bought was considerably cheaper there but has a very short "smell" factor, it would be better to pay full price if you want it to last.

The pool boy (young man) was excellent, always quick to help find sun beds or move umbrellas. Nothing was too much trouble and this made being by the pool our first choice. The waterslides are a little slow for my taste but our 12-year-old loved them! 

The lady that cleaned our room (1225) was lovely, nice little touch of flowers on the bed! It made a nice memory for our holiday, thank you. 

Food was OK, I have had better from other resorts but as this one caterers to more family-friendly holidays it was perfectly acceptable and this meant I only put on 2KGs I would have loved to have seen more seafood available.

Overall we are happy with the break and have come home to the UK feeling suitably refreshed!

Quality Spa and Pool
