Fethiye

The port city of Fethiye has a range of wonderful things to see and do; from incredible sandy beaches and forest mountains to local markets which showcase tasty local produce that you must try! Make sure you visit the fountains of Ugur Mumcu Park, located just behind the town square - during the summer season and special occasions, the fountains are bathed in lights and music is played.

Located on Turkey's Turquoise Coast, Fethyie has become a popular tourist destination due to its charm, beautiful beaches and old world charm. There are plenty of bars and restaurants serving delicious local food and tasty drinks, as well as buses and water taxis poised to zip you over to the wonderful Calis. The old quarter, also known as Paspatur is a must see as the meandering cobbled streets lead you to delightful gift shops full of pottery and bags.

If you fancy something a little of the beaten track, why not head to the once bustling town of Kayakoy, which was abandoned nearly 100 years ago. Here you'll find the crumbling remains of houses and churches, which exude an eerie quality.
