Great place to relax. Room clean, service excellent, pool area very comfortable and beach right beside hotel. Not too big. Would be good with children. Shopping and ATM out front. Food was buffet style, as is normal in Sri Lanka. Very relaxed before getting on plane back to Australia

Excellent hotel in Hikkaduwa

Spent 5 nights here at the end of our holiday. Its a fantastic hotel. The staff were lovely & friendly - nothing was too much trouble. 

The food was gorgeous- buffet style breakfast with something for everyone. We also ate here a couple of evenings and the food was outstanding. 

Its right on the beach and in the middle of everything. 

I would definitely come here again & would highly recommend.

Beautiful Hotel

We love this hotel. 
We had a sea view room. It was such a calming experience where I could hear the sound of waves inside the room !
They provide basic amenities although you have to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The location was good, you can just walk out and there are shops along the road. One can easily find this hotel.
We had our dinner and breakfast by the pool over looking the ocean. Good food with stunning view.
This is the hotel I would definitely go back !

About the spa.. I won’t call it a spa though. The set up is like those roadside massage parlor although the massage was good.

Our Wonderful Driver Mr. Peumal took us to Coral Rock by Bansei . We 2 couples with children ordered lunch with a few beers .. and honestly the food that came out was amazing 😍😍😍😍 .. I would give a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating for the excellent food and service and it comes with a fantastic view !

The Coral Rock by Bansei hotel in Sri Lanka, in the Hikkaduwa area, left me with the most pleasant impressions.  The first thing that pleased me was the location of the hotel on the first line by the sea.  The room had a beautiful view of the endless ocean, which created a unique atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility.

 The room I stayed in was spacious, comfortable and clean.  All necessary amenities were available, making the stay as comfortable as possible.  The service at the hotel was top notch - the staff were friendly, attentive and responsible.

 The hotel pool also had an excellent location - overlooking the sea.  I spent a lot of time on the sun lounger, enjoying the sun and the coolness of the pool at the same time.

 The cuisine at the hotel deserves special mention - breakfasts and dinners were varied and delicious.  I was able to try various Sri Lankan and international cuisines.

 I highly recommend Coral Rock by Bansei in Sri Lanka if you are looking for the perfect place to relax by the sea with comfort and excellent service.
