I spent a night in this hotel with my husband and son.  We arrived the hotel around 1pm and using the pool and pool side bar. Unfortunately, it's raining day but the lunch was good.
The room had a enough space for 3 of us and very clean. We could see most famous landmarks in Colombo from the room.
We enjoyed the walk around the hotel and felt the good atmosphere of Colombo town.
The breakfast buffet was also wondeful.
It's lovely and refreshment experience of staying. We'd like to come again soon.

The staff went above and beyond their call of duty to make our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. 
Will certainly stay at Jetwing Colombo again and highly recommend it to those who are looking for accommodation in Colombo.

Excellent week at Jetwing Colombo.

We had a school reunion at Jetwing rooftop for High Tea on 6th of June. We had a group of 17 and we had a fabulous time!! This was my third visit. The food was delicious and the iced coffee was superb, the best I have had. They serve it with ice cream!! The service provided by the staff members, Manoj P, Manoj L, Thushara and Dinendra was excellent!! They were very friendly and helpful. The manager Dinesh, went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that every last detail was looked into. I communicated with him on several occasions to put this event together and he was extremely prompt and paid attention to detail which made my job seamless. Thank you Dinesh and the team for making our get together a memorable one!! Last of all, the ambiance at the rooftop was amazing!!

Memorable classmates reunion.

I am compelled to write this review due to the appalling experience I had at Jetwig Hotel Colombo 7. This establishment has set a new low for false advertising and customer service. I booked my stay based on the promise of a room with a balcony, as clearly advertised. To my utter dismay, upon arrival, I found that there was no balcony. This outright lie was the first of many disappointments.

When I raised this issue with the hotel staff, they had the audacity to blame booking.com, claiming it was an error on their part. This excuse is not only unacceptable but insulting. It is not my responsibility to deal with their advertising mistakes. The hotel had ample time—over a month, in fact—to inform me of this error, but chose not to. Their lack of communication and accountability is inexcusable.

The situation worsened when I realized the implications of their deceit. As a smoker, I was forced into the highly inconvenient position of having to travel from my room to the ground floor every time I wanted to smoke. The hotel's so-called solution was laughable and insulting. They suggested that they open the room window instead and then had the nerve to ask me to sign a waiver stating that opening the window was my request, absolving them of any responsibility. When I insisted they amend the waiver to truthfully reflect that this was their suggestion, not my request, they flatly refused. 

The level of unprofessionalism and sheer lack of empathy displayed by the staff was staggering. There was not a hint of an apology or genuine attempt to rectify the situation. Instead, they were dismissive and uncooperative, leaving me to deal with the consequences of their false advertising and poor service.

This experience was, without a doubt, the worst I have ever had at any hotel. The deceptive practices, lack of accountability, and dreadful customer service at Jetwig Hotel Colombo 7 are beyond unacceptable. I strongly urge potential guests to steer clear of this establishment. Save yourself the frustration, inconvenience, and sheer disappointment I endured. Jetwig Hotel Colombo 7 is a prime example of how not to run a hospitality business, and their actions should serve as a warning to anyone considering a stay here.

Appalling Experience at Jetwig Hotel Colombo 7- Deceptive Advertising and Terrible Service

Our check-in at the reception went very well, and before my husband could ask any questions about the hotel, the receptionist Ronan explained all we needed to know about our stay, which was extremely helpful.

Even the person at the concierge was extremely helpful with our luggage, and given that we checked around 1.00AM, I thought the staff could be a little worn out, but both of them were beaming with happiness, so I can rest assured that our stay will be great for the time being.

So Far So Good

It is the first city hotel to be built by the premium hospitality brand in the cosmopolitan city of Colombo, and stands overlooking the metropolis. The views from the rooftop restaurant and bar are truly spectacular; they offer a bird's eye view of the heart of Colombo, and its bordering beach. Centrally located, Jetwing Colombo Seven is in close proximity to all key shopping and business areas. Other sights of interest include the imposing Colombo National Museum, dedicated to Sri Lankan history, the sprawling Viharamahadevi Park and its seated, golden Buddha. Home to serviced apartments, studio apartments and rooms, its minimalist décor ensures a contemporary design is ever present in the hotel's architecture and ambience. It bears testament to the traditional Sri Lankan hospitality the brand exemplifies, and offers a lovely time of respite, both to the business and leisure traveler.
