We stayed at the Residence and had an amazing time! The rooms are beautiful and the staff are super attentive and friendly. Amazing Stay

This was our first time in colombo and Uga residence made it a trip to remember. Everything was top notch from the interior to the food and the staff. Thank you Sithija for attending to all our needs. We brought the scent of the hotel back to our home and are constantly reminded of how amazing our stay was. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend

First night in Sri Lanka- booked this location for night one and night 8/9 of our trip. 

On arrival everything was lovely. 

Shown to the room and again initially fantastic except room number 1 had a corrugated metal garage door outside the window to the so called court yard. Advised not to go out due to the mosquitoes!!. 

It did not really improve after that with no hot water for a second shower in the evening. 
Requested no chilli in any food and sadly we were served a nicely presented meal but the salad and rice was laced with chilli. 
The waiter requested the chef not add any into the meals !!. Was replaced !! ( not allergic but just don’t like it !!!! 

This was discussed in depth with the hotel rooms manager but no offer to remove from the bill on check out. 
“We replaced the meal for you” 

Sadly for a group that is spoken so highly of in Sri Lanka not an experience we can rave about. Disappointed. 

We thought we booked one of the best hotels in Colombo but as said at beginning were we just unlucky !!. Should you be unlucky spending that kind of money. !!.

Today is our last day of the trip. We spend a nite in Colombo. Everything is excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food specially the slow cook chicken leg and range of wine collection in restaurant is really good. Nice swimming pool. The room is huge with garden.

Wonderful experience

What a charming boutique hotel in the middle of Colombo… Nice Big rooms for families and perfect with the pool after a warm day. The colony style takes to back in time. 
The restaurant serves lovely food, and the staff was extremly helpful. Dont miss this place when you go to Colombo
